VENUS REVENGE

VENUS REVENGE
Chapter 3. Shadowed

"This is your war, not mine. I'll just be your coach" he said.

“Surely it will take a long time.” Finally the woman spoke after a long time of thought.

“He must be relieved to think I'm dead!” hiss growled.

Falcon. “It would be really good. He wouldn't have guessed that you were alive and came to take his life. Let him off guard and guess everything is in accordance with his plan,” explained Falcon.

A terrifying wide smile, was etched on the beautiful face of the woman who was now filled with hatred. “You're right. I'm willing to train with you!” he said excitedly.

“Good! So don't complain much after this!” Falcon raised his thumb and showed it to Jean. A savage of satisfaction was faintly visible on his firm face line.

“Now, I think you better change your name. A name that reflects your new self. Determined, strong, and will overshadow his life with cruel vengeance! A name that will make anyone shudder in horror!” advice Falcon again.

While lying down, Jean thought of a name that might be suitable for her new identity. “Shadow! I'll use that name from now on. Weak Jean is dead at sea!” he said after a while.

The Falcon agreed. “Good name. Strong and mysterious.”

Shadow was optimistic. He was very excited and believed that one day he would return to the mansion and seize his son, and avenge Hugo.

“There is no mercy for you, Mr Hugo von Amstel! You have to pay for every pain I experience!” his vow.

Lightning snatched, as if it was a sign that his oath was received by the sky.

“I like your spirit. Hopefully tomorrow you still have the spirit of steel!” The man sipped his drink and leaned back on the sofa leisurely.

Shadow's forehead frowned. He felt that the Falcon did not trust his determination. This made him more excited and determined.

“I am willing to receive any training, provided that it can make me go back there to kill him!” said furious.

“I accept your challenge!”

The Falcon quickly. The man stood up and headed to a closet.

“I'll be gone for some time. I've been delayed a long time since I had to take care of you. Now you're conscious. So you can start taking care of yourself.”

Shadow speechless. Didn't think the man would just leave her when he just regained consciousness from a long sleep. “You want to go?” His emerald-green eyes were round wide, in disbelief.

“Yes!" emphatically.

"With that determination of yours, I'm sure you're capable of taking care of yourself. In the box there was little food. You can use it,” Falcon said as he stuffed some stuff into a big black bag.

“When I return later, I will bring new supplies.”

Shadow saw the Falcon slipping a black gun behind his back, then covered it with a jacket. He had also seen Hugo's residence guards do that.

“There is still food by the fireplace. You don't need to be fed anymore. So eat! I go!” The man stepped into the door of the wooden house they occupied.

“How long have you been away?” tanya Shadow began to despair.

Shadow speechless. Outside, the sound of rain started to fall. The air gets a little cold. However, a burning fireplace can repel the giggles from his body.

He stayed in place for a long time, not knowing what to do. He tried to move his body to wake up. But the pain was so intense, that his tears welled up and stopped all his efforts.

“Why was I so arrogant? If only I hadn't spoken too much, he probably wouldn't have rushed away. Whatever it is, he can definitely put it off, after delaying for seven months to take care of me.”

Shadow began to regret himself for talking too much. But regret is also useless. He should be able to get out of bed now, or else be starving.

Inching, he moved his feet to the edge of the bed. But he was stunned. His right leg felt stiff to move.

“What happened to my leg?” muttered.

Out of worry and curiosity, Shadow arched his body slightly, before stopping due to the immeasurable whirring of pain.

“Aduh ...” His groaning sound was swallowed by the gurgling water on the roof. Moreno's smile was plain and cute, spreading tears that had previously been welled up.

His voice sounded. “Mama misses you dear ...”

Before long the shadow of the baby's face turned into determination, as if calling out to him. “Mama will come to pick you up!”

Soon the helpless weak body was moved back. Shadow wanted to see what happened to his feet. After a painful hard effort, his body could be tilted to see the state of his right leg. His eyes widened looking from the knees down, the legs were wrapped in thick wood and cloth.

“Did my leg break when it fell?” thought sad. “How to get revenge if you just stand up can't. Let's get up Shadow! You must be strong!” he told himself.

With great effort and falling down time and time again, ignoring the agonizing pain, Shadow managed to sit down. His sweat was pouring down in the cold air. His face turned red with extreme pain.

For a while he just sat down and managed to catch his breath. The body that had been asleep for seven months seemed surprised to be forced to move. His heart rate became faster and his breath seemed to run away. He was just trying to sit on the bed.

Suffering intensified as the empty sound of her stomach was heard. Closing his eyes, Shadow again gathered his spirit. He should be able to walk to the fireplace and pick up the bowl of food the Falcon left behind. His stomach is very hungry.

“I can definitely. Must be!” he said he gritted his teeth.

It took an hour more hard effort with the drama of falling from the bed to the floor, he didn't care. Inching on the dirty wooden floor, Shadow managed to reach the fireplace. His trembling hands led to the fireplace to reach the bowl which was slightly higher than the sitting position.

“Ouch!”

The finger automatically moved away from the bowl which turned out to be very hot. Now his eyes were looking for something to coat his hands so as not to blister from the burn.

The day began to fall. The dim atmosphere outside affects the lighting inside the house. Makes it even harder to find a cloth or anything there.

Until his eyes were pounded on a high table in the corner of the room. There's some bowls arranged there. It seems to be a table for kitchen utensils. There's a napkin hanging on that table. It should, that's what the Falcon uses to coat the hand when lifting a hot bowl.

“How to take it?” Both shoulders fell. Doldrums and despair began to fall.

“Damn you Hugo! You made me like this!” angry shouting.
