Chapter 49. Invitation for Dinner

Five days later Chester returns and gets his daughter looking uneasy. “What's your plan now?” tanyanya while accompanying her sat down to accompany the back garden that afternoon.

“I think it's time I did the thing I delayed a long time ago,” Venus replied.

“How?” search Chester.

“I've checked the kids' camp. They only held it for one week at the beginning of the fall. So Moreno should be back in two days. I will be there visiting Frisia in four days and calming Moreno,” Venus said.

“Then?”

“If it is impossible to reply to Hugo, then I will take Moreno away from there!” he gritted his teeth.

Chester could see that his daughter was starting to get impatient. “It is better to plan carefully. You've tried to sneak in there, but it didn't work. “I can help you take Moreno and kill Hugo, if you want,” Chester offers his help gently.

“I know you can. But I want to be able to feel satisfied, kill him with my own hands!” fury Venus again. “But I still don't understand how to approach the place, without being evicted guard.”

“Isn't there Lennox von Amstel who's crazy about you?” chester asked for an idea.

“Then?” ask Venus not to understand.

“Near him, give him a little hope, so that he gets drunk and takes you into his family,” Chester said.

Venus looked at the middle-aged man in disbelief.

“In my opinion, Lennox's love is honest. It might hurt a little bit for him to know you're using it. However, if he gets a commensurate reward, it might be able to treat his heart wound.” Chester gave us a hint.

“What does that have to do with Hugo?” ask Venus still does not understand.

Venus called Lenoox who had been missing for several days.

“Good then. I'm glad to hear that. Don't be sad for long. I'll help you. Believe me.. I love you so much,” said Lennox again.

“Ehem .. can you come to dinner with me?” ask Venus.

“No need to reserve a place, Lennox. Can you come to my simple house?” ask Venus again.

“Of course. Doesn't matter. Send time and address. I'm definitely coming!” the promise.

“How about tonight? But, because of the sudden, maybe I can't prepare a decent banquet. Is---”

“Do not worry. If it's with you, nothing isn't worth it. I'm gonna come. Send me the address!” Lennox cut out Venus' words.

He was so happy to see the girl. Who cares whether the prepared food will be decent or not. He could buy some kind of food to bring there. Then everything will be perfect. Her face was so happy that afternoon. He quickly stood up from the chair and walked out of his study.

“Where are you going?” ask Hugo who crossed paths with him.

“Prepare to meet my lover!” Lennox answered as he continued walking. He didn't care and didn't want to know how Hugo would react.

“His love? Who's lover? I didn't know she had a boyfriend lately!” Hugo shook his head and continued his steps. He's been lazy to come home fast since Moreno left.

Lennox saw a large house from the window of the car. The driver asked again.

“Is the address really here, Mister?”

Once again Lennox showed him the address Shadow had sent him. The driver nodded. The car was pushed forward to the front of the fence of the house made of waist-high stone, then the top was overgrown with vines.

“I drove Mr. Lennox von Amstel to dinner invitation,” said the driver to a man who happened to be carrying a bucket and broom behind a low wooden turnstile.

Lennox. That way, it means that it is true that this is the address that Shadow is referring to. As soon as the car stopped, the man politely opened the car door.

“Welcome, Sir. You've been awaited.” The man directed his gaze to the stone stairs and the arch door of thick wood there.

Lennox came down and brought the flowers. He walked into the back trunk. He bought some food for dinner. Although now he knew that it was not very necessary anymore, now, but he had already bought it. So, let's just take it to that house.

“I brought a little food here. Can you help?” ask Lennox politely.

The man called out to the woman standing at the door. Two maids came down and helped bring everything Lennox had bought.

“Mari, Mister.” Bratt showed Lennox the way.

The man only carried a bouquet of flowers in his hand for Shadow. He followed with his head full of question marks. Is this really the Shadow's residence? He's a rich man! How is she willing to be Moreno's nanny?

“Mr Lennox von Amstel has arrived, Sir,” reports Bratt from the front door of the living room.

Chester who was doing something else and turned his back on the door, immediately turned around with a bright face.

“Please enter, Lennox,” he said.Lennox entered the classic-style living room.

“Sit first. My daughter hasn't come down yet. You know women, right? Although the makeup is simple, still we men should want to wait a while!” chester said laughing cheerfully.

Lennox could only grimace, not laugh, hearing the man say his daughter had not yet disembarked. Is he Shadow's father? How many secrets did Shadow keep from him?
