Chapter 56. Bringing Moreno

Seeing Hugo no longer move, Venus restyled her clothes. He called Chester and said what happened.

“Wait for me there!” chester.

As Chester had promised earlier that he would be on standby waiting to pick up Venus. So the helicopter in an instant was already circling above Hugo's residence.

“You where?” ask Chester.

I'm in the third floor room. But I have to take Moreno first in the second-floor room!” Venus says.

Shortly thereafter. “You can get out of that room. There are no guards there!” chester's orders.

Shadow didn't want to know what Chester was doing until there were no guards outside.  He immediately picked up the dagger Hugo had held. Then get out of there and run towards the second floor. Along the way, deserted, with no one guard. He ran to Moreno's room and lifted the child in his arms.

“Shadow, where are we going?” ask the little boy with sleepy eyes.

“Holiday. You want a vacation with me?” ask Venus while running.

“Come quickly!” chester appeared at the end of the third floor staircase. Venus followed.

“Daddy not coming?” ask Moreno again. This time he was more conscious and opened his eyes.

“No! He told me to take you with me. He wants to go far,” persuade Venus.

“Good.” Moreno embraced Venus' neck and hid her head on Venus' shoulders.

“Hey, where are you taking him?” Frisia, who was still under the influence of alcohol, went out of the room and found Venus running.

“Go upstairs, let me take care of it!” chester's orders. Venus obeyed and continued to run towards the waiting helicopter and circled on the roof of Hugo's house.

Don't know what Chester's doing, but he quickly catches up. Tied up, Venus and Moreno were pulled up onto the helicopter. Chester followed by climbing the rope ladder, after which. And the iron bird soon passed from there.

Moreno looked out and noticed the still dark and dense sky.

“Are you scared?” ask Venus. The boy shook his head. However, both of his arms tightly hugged his mother's body.

“Do not be afraid, they are good people. My coworkers,” said Venus, aware of the child's direction of view.

“And I'm your grandfather!” chester said with a big smile.

Moreno's eyes were rounded. “Grandpa?” tanyanya could not believe it.

“He's very smart. You have to explain in more detail,” Venus said again.

“I, your mother's father! Do you want to go to your mother's grandfather's place?”  ask Chester again.

“Of course. But why hasn't she appeared all this time?” ask Moreno critically.

“That's because your father and grandfather were too cruel!” chester grumbled with his mouth piercing.

“How about I say that your mother is still alive?” ask Chester again.

Moreno was sitting perfectly now. “Timpossible! Father said, mother died at sea during the holidays!”

“He's too much nonsense! Although he can lie to anyone, but I can't lie to him!” Chester again sneered in annoyance.

The boy watched Venus with questioning eyes. Then he saw Venus nodding. “Your mother is alive, dear. I'll take you there.” He hugged the child lovingly, to calm his agitated heart.

The helicopter landed at Chester's mercenary headquarters. Venus cradles Moreno and follows Chester into her private dugout.

“Alright, let's sleep first and continue the journey tomorrow,” Venus said. Moreno. The boy did not want to let go of his embrace of Venus.

“There's nothing to be afraid of here. They'll all keep you safe.” Venus' hand rubbed Moreno's back to make her feel comfortable.

I don't know how long he slept. But then I woke up. Moreno was still holding her. But he slept well next to her. As Venus moved out of bed, Moreno noticed.

“Venus ...”

“I'm going to the bathroom. Do you want to come?” ask the girl.

“Don't be long!” order the child with sleepy eyes.

“Iya. Before you know it, I'm back.” Venus came out and closed the door again.

He did go to the bathroom and look for Chester. There is information that has not been provided. After coming from the bathroom, he realized that the man was sleeping on the sofa in a room that might be used as a multipurpose room. Venus has never come to this waking part.

Seeing the man sleeping, Venus cancels her plans to tell Hugo's secret. He walked back to his room.

“Do you want to say something?” Chester's voice is heard.

The steps of Venus stopped. He turned around and saw the man open his eyes without feeling the need to get up from his position. Well ... but I thought you were sleeping,” replied Venus.

Now Chester sat down and was ready to listen to Venus' information. Count until the girl sits down after dragging another chair.

“Hugo said his mother was arrested by Damon. Frisia's lover was also arrested by Damon. They were in the dungeon under the man's residence!” Venus says.

“I won't ask how you got that information. But isn't that none of our business? Our business is to take Moreno back so he knows that you ... his mother, are still alive!”

“Said Hugo, it's important, so that I can live quietly with my son,” Venus replied.

“So she already knows that you're Jean, Moreno's mother?” Chester looked at Venus with widened eyes.

“Yes, he said that he regretted his act of throwing me into the sea. But he had to do it, to keep his mother's life safe!”

“Gosh! Is that crazy Damon? Her own daughter-in-law and granddaughter she made captive!” furious Chester.

“Hugo asked me to take care of Moreno, then he slit his own throat!” The sound of Venus falling.

Chester rubbed his face with both hands. “In a moment, what happened there, will be known soon. Even if he slit his own throat, you could be a suspect for being there before. Then we must move quickly to Damon's house, to free Hugo's mother and the Frisian sultan. So the girl no longer needs to be in threat!”

Venus agreed. He can't wait to punish Damon. Chester saw a flash of anger in his daughter's eyes.

“You will not participate in this operation. Your job is to look after my grandson!” firmly Chester.

“But, Dad, I did take a grudge against Damon von Amstel!” refute Venus.

“Keeping your son is much more important! If anything happens to you, then the boy will be a kara! Is that what you want? Why take him if he has to lose his father and mother on the same day?” chester said trying to understand.

“Then what about you?” Venus is worried now.

“I have to protect my family. My granddaughter should live a quiet and good life. I would sacrifice anything for him. That is what a grandfather should do. Instead of threatening and consider his family as a tool to achieve pseudo-power!”

Chester's face was very serious when he said that. Venus knows. That means the man doesn't want to be denied.

“Alright,” he said obediently.
