VENUS REVENGE

VENUS REVENGE
Chapter 7. First Mission

After resting for quite a while, Shadow finally came to a realization. “What happened?” tanyanya. He remembered that he was running.

“You fainted at the end point!” Falcon said that with a tone of praise. His smile grew and he looked proud.

“Can I have breakfast now? I'm hungry,” Shadow said.

“Hahahaa ..” Falcon shook his head. “Did you run fast at that end point because you were starving?” ask in the middle of laughter.

“Yes! What do you think?” His innocent face again blew up Falcon laughter.

“This is your breakfast!” The Falcon offered a bowl of boiled potatoes, eggs and sausages that looked delicious

“Thank you,” he said as he tasted that sumptuous cuisine. He enjoyed every bite.

Falcon chuckled amusedly at how Shadow closed his eyes as he bit the fried sausage with a hint of butter.

“You are very funny, even when eating.” The man again laughed amusedly as Shadow again showed a funny expression.

The following days Shadow traversed with hard training. The Falcon was very serious when training him, like he was training a mercenary. And Shadow never gave up, even though his body was injured many times. After he recovers, he will train again. Moreno's shadow was like a cheerleader who kept giving him spirit.

The afternoon after the strenuous exercise, they were returning home to the log cabin.

“I've been training you for ten months. You're already very capable. However, to prove you are capable of being released yourself, then you must try a task in the team.”

Falcon paused his sentence to see Shadow's reaction. He only saw a nod in response.

“Good. Get ready today. Tomorrow we go to one place ...,” Falcon jumps over tree roots and Shadow follows in his footsteps. “... but this is not a practice.,” he said seriously.

“Am I on duty to kill or kidnap someone?” search Shadow.

“Hahaha ..” The Falcon laughed for a while.

“I want you to join my team. We have a duty to free a hostage. So---”

The Falcon's explanation came to a halt, as Shadow blocked his steps.

“Freeing hostages? Isn't that very dangerous? I could have died being shot at by people back then!” Shadow's enlarged eyes expressed the horror he thought of.

Falcon smiled broadly. “Well, this duty bet is life. This is a serious and proper exercise for you. Learn to face death, so that you behave carefully.” Falcon.

“Huh!”

Shadow stepped back. Falcon left behind. “If I die there, who will avenge me?” his gerrick.

“I!” answer Falcon seriously.

“If you also die there, how?” ketus Shadow will not lose.

“Emmm ...” Falcon was at a loss to reply to his words. The man scratched his head.

“Do you think trying to get close to Hugo is harmless? He is as dangerous as this task. It was even more dangerous to approach him. Because you're alone in there. Once you get in, it won't be easy to get out again. Except in a body bag!” the Falcon said seriously.

“You proved your own cruelty. You almost died. And probably would have died if I hadn't been fishing on that beach!” The Falcon reaffirmed the danger Shadow was seeking.

“Alright! I'm on your team!” Shadow finally agreed.

They went straight home to prepare. The Falcon taught him to prepare every battle armor, to be practical to carry and easy to use when needed.

The sun had not yet appeared, as the two men had already traced the forest towards the pier. A speed boat was waiting there. They immediately set off, as soon as Falcon and Shadow jumped in.

“Are they your men?” whispered Shadow among the roar of the strong sea breeze that morning.

An hour later they docked at a private port. Shadow knew little about the private harbor, as he had also boarded the Yacht belonging to the Von Amstel family on their private island. There is also a small port for leaning ships and speed boats of family members.

Shadow followed the Falcon down. Some people stopped and saluted the man as they passed in front of him. Shadow didn't think the Falcon was so respected.

The Falcon continued walking across the empty rice hall. “Where is Jackson?” ask Falcon to someone dressed in bright blue.

“She's already taken it out and waiting on the runway!” answer the person, as if understanding the Falcon question.

The middle-aged man simply nodded and resumed his steps across the large hall. Now in front of them lay a field of grass. Some bare-chested men ran in rows, circling the running track while singing excitedly.

“This is army headquarters!” inner Shadow. He's not too stupid not to know what that place is. Although he honestly did not know what kind of Falcon the Falcon was from.

A large helicopter stood gallantly in the middle of the helipad. And the Falcon's headed straight there. Shadow followed doubtfully. He was a little scared of the helicopter, unnoticed. His steps swallowed by themselves.

The Falcon only realized Shadow's state as he turned around to tell her to go up. He saw a ray of panic in Shadow's eyes, and he noticed it quickly. The woman was traumatized by being pushed down from a helicopter over the ocean.

The middle-aged man walked up to him and guided his hand. “I'll protect you!” whispered soft.

Shadow looked towards him and looked for the truth in the man's eyes. Then he nodded. The two got into the helicopter and immediately left from there. Sunlight dipped on the horizon, ushering in their journey.

Finally the helicopter stopped in the courtyard of a magnificent building. At first Shadow thought it was the office where Falcon worked. However, seeing several women and men in servant clothes walking near the building, Shadow finally realized that it was someone's residence.

“Do you want to meet someone?” ask Shadow.

“Yes. I have to meet some people first, before I go.” Falcon asked Shadow's question. They entered the building door. A butler was waiting there.

“Master, Mrs Sherly and her son are already waiting in the reading room,” reports.

“Hemm! Smith, give breakfast to Shadow!” the message.

“Good, Mr.” Smith nodded obediently. He waved a hand calling for another servant who came straight over.

“Nona Shadow, you can come with Nancy. He will prepare breakfast for you,” he said politely, before following the steps of the Falcon that had almost vanished from sight.

Shadow followed the female servant who was walking in front of him quickly. Passing through a very good row of furniture. A year into Hugo's wife, plus visiting the relatives' residence or accompanying Hugo to a party, Shadow was very clear that the furniture in this residence was much more expensive than the Damon residence.

“Who are the rich and influential people Falcon meets?” inner curious. Shadow had never heard the name of Sherly's mistress as Smith had said.

“What is the importance of the woman's position, until the Falcon rushes to meet her?” Shadow wondered in his heart.

“Please sit down, Miss. I'll prepare your breakfast in five minutes!” Nancy the maid immediately disappeared behind the closed door of the small dining room.

Shadow looked around the room containing only four chairs surrounding the round table of wood that glittered in blackish red.

“This is red wood.” Shadow stroked the surface of the table carefully. “Very well-maintained,” compliments watered.

Tired of waiting, Shadow stood up and observed the small garden behind the glass window. A well-organized garden and done by professionals. “The owner of this house is very attentive to small details,”

Her lips could not hold back the compliment. “Very beautiful park!”

“Thank you, Miss!” A voice made Shadow turn around. There Nancy was arranging the dinner plates and drinks at the table. There are two sets of food and drinks there.

“Do I have to wait for someone to have breakfast?” Shadow had to be clear, whether he could eat first, or had to wait for others to come join in.

“You can have breakfast first, Miss.” Nancy bowed respectfully and left.

Shadow saw the dinner plate. It was a very varied breakfast. He had not enjoyed such a full breakfast for a long time. His hand quickly grabbed the scoop Nancy meticulously arranged.

Shadow was enjoying his breakfast feelingly as the door of the room opened and the Falcon entered, then sat down in front of the already cold food.

Nancy came in and poured a nice cup of coffee in the Falcon cup. Then he left again, without offering Shadow the mouth-watering aroma of the delicious coffee. He could only gulp with a frown.
