Chapter 16 - Towards a Hot Spring

The day had changed the night, I woke up from my deep nap.

The scene in front of me looked different than usual. The ceiling made of wooden planks and candle lanterns that illuminate the room feels different.

My eyes still felt heavy and the drowsiness of my eyes made me want to continue this sleep.

However, a sound of an open door woke me up completely. Mio in simple clothes entered the room space and approached me.

“Good night, Lily-sama” greeted Mio while carrying a small piece of equipment in her hand.

Whatisthis?

Why is it that all of a sudden my fine hair is standing straight and my feelings are becoming unpleasant?

“Lily-sama, there are some things I want to ask” Mio is now in front of me. The candle lantern inside the room slightly showed Mio's annoyed expression.

“Lily-sama went to the city with permission from Rommel-sama right?”

“Ah!” suddenly my body felt cold after hearing Mio's question.

“Lily-sama?” With a cold gaze, Mio started walking closer towards me.

Cold sweat soaked my head thanks to Mio's stare staring intently at my face.

“Ehehe..” I laughed a little without answering Mio's question.

“I guessed it, it's only fitting that Rommel-sama didn't pick up Lily-sama while in town. Even they went straight back to the Main” Mansion Mio said in an annoyed tone.

It's a little weird.

Mio should have scolded me, right?

I slightly rubbed the sweat dripping on my forehead.

“Lily-sama, sorry if this is inappropriate but want to take a bath together in a warm bath?” bring Mio.

“Warm water bath?” ask me.

This is the first time I've ever known of such a place.

My feelings were resisting about this but my body was being too honest in this situation.

Behind Mio, it appears that Mio's mother is carrying a towel and clothes inside a small wooden box. Mio received a small blow delivered by Mio's mother.

“I'm sorry My daughter, Lily-sama. If something related to the cuteness of Lily-sama then Mio will get out of control like this” said Ms. Mio.

“Dan Mio. Please take care of your behavior! After all, Lily-sama is your Master!”

“Uuuh... I know that but. isn't this outfit very cute?” Mio undressed the clothes she was carrying. I didn't notice the outfit before Mio showed it.

The clothes are not much different from the Maiden Shrine model, only there is an additional frayed fabric that looks like a Maid uniform stitch.

“This outfit..” Mio's mother fell silent after seeing the clothes Mio brought.

“That guess is perfect for Lily-sama. Nice work, Mio!” continued Mother Mio's words with great enthusiasm.

Uh, I can't seem to avoid the fate of being a living doll.

“Dan.. if Lily-sama is wearing such cute clothes. Looks like we should bring weapons just in case.”

For some reason, Mio and Mio have the same opinion on this one business.

I followed their request and rushed towards the hot spring. The view of the city at night has its own uniqueness, especially with shops that operate at night.

“What is red district?”

Hearing this question, Mother Mio and Mio were shocked and looked around.

Is the Red District a rough phrase?

If that's a rough sentence, why do our family exclusive merchants talk about it so much?

“Mamaaaa!!” Mio panicked even more as her mother explained about the Red District.

“Mio, children tend to be curious about things they don't know yet and they will be desperate to find out if they don't get an answer. Isn't Lily-sama in this city without using the horse carriage from her family and walking to the city?”

Why did Mio's mother find out?

“And need to remember! Rommel-sama leaves Lily-sama to you with his safety guarantee..understand?!”

W-Dad I put me away? It was only fitting for Mio to question about it before.

“Yes, the Red District is indeed a place prone to gimmicks and danger. So, Lily-sama should be careful if passing through the region. Knowing the location of the Red District is not too bad just in case right?” said Mio's mother while looking at Mio.

Oh, so that's the reason.

I now understand this place called the Red District. In short, the Red District was a dangerous place and was reserved for adults.

But why an adult?

“Take it easy, Mio. I'm not interested in that kind of place. I was just curious after hearing the exclusive merchant talks my family about their visit to Red” District, I said.

Hearing my words, Mio's mother smiled towards Mio.

“Crue? It's much safer than not explaining it at all” said Ms. Mio.

“Uuuh, I can't imagine what would happen if Lily-sama went to such a place and exclusive merchant kah..” suddenly Mio's facial expression went cold.

“Ah! haha... haha..?? W-We have reached our destination. See this Lily-sama.” without feeling our trip has arrived at the destination and Mother Mio's voice is like depressed something.

In front of us there is a large inn called “Fox Heaven”. As we entered the main door, several white-tailed fox girls wearing Maid uniforms greeted us. The swung bushy tail and the furry, twitching ears are very soft to look at.

“I-Imut once...” unknowingly said that out of my mouth.
