Chapter 8 - Mio's First Work

Me and Mio have breakfast together.

Due to the problems that occurred in the morning, we helped Hilda-sensei to clean up the mess that occurred. Hilda-sensei has returned to duty and brought the man in for questioning.

Mio's bold action against the man got praise from the store owner and gave us a free breakfast meal. Coincidentally, I still haven't tasted breakfast because Mio went missing.

As Mio enjoyed the morning meal, I opened up a small conversation.

“Nee.. Mio. Are you mad at me?” ask me as we sit at the dinner table.

“T-Not like that, Lily-sama” replied Mio in a hurry.

“Then..why didn't you see me this morning?”

“Eh? Did I not tell Lily-sama?”

“Eh?” I slightly tilted my head.

What is Mio talking about?

I'm a little confused by this line of talk.

“Ah! AAAAAHHHH!!” mio's face was suddenly red and screamed in panic. Mio covered her face with both hands.

It seemed, Mio was aware of the mistake she made.

“M-I'm sorry, Lily-sama. I forgot to say it. If I apply for a three-day leave to celebrate my mother's birthday. I should have talked about this last night but.”

“J-So.. You're not mad at me?” ask me to make sure.

Ever since last night, Mio's attitude changed a little and seemed to be avoiding me. So, I was thinking if Mio was intentionally doing this to avoid me.

For the other Maids, I've gotten used to the attitude of those who avoid me. But for Mio, for some reason, the part on my chest hurts if Mio avoids me.

“Em.. Mio.. If I make a mistake with you. I'm sorry!” I stood up and bowed before Mio.

“Awawa!!!” Mio was very panicked when she saw me bow before her.

“L-Lily-sama!! Please stop that!” he said it quickly. Mio approached me and fixed my body position.

“A-I'm not angry anyway. it's just.” Mio tried to explain the situation.

A small and gentle tone sounded in my ears, “I'm just jealous of Alice-sama and Alyssa-sama who kissed Lily-sama's cheek.”

The sound was very small, yet it was clearly heard in my ears.

Mio's face pouted slightly and her cheeks widened. That's very funny, so I kissed her on the cheek a little.

Eh?

Why does this feel so chewy?

I play my teeth and bite Mio's cheek.

“Munya!” I could hear Mio's surprised voice.

I took off my little kiss on her cheek, a red bite mark adorning Mio's cheek.

Mio fell silent and held her cheek. He was a little angry with my actions.

“M-Miooo?” I tried calling him.

Mio looked so happy, her face was filled with smiles and her thin saliva came out from between her lips.

“Hey, Miooo..” I slightly moved both of my hands before her eyes. Mio regained her senses and rubbed her lips to remove any trace of her saliva.

“Ah.. Uh.. Sorry Lily-sama.” Mio endured the shame and pleasure simultaneously.

Suddenly, we were surprised by the small laughing sounds of the people around us. They seem to be watching our actions. They were smiling, enjoying our actions. Small flowers decorate their faces.

Uh. what is this feeling.

It's a little embarrassing, but I like it.

I became aware of the hustle of this store, it seems. Our actions invited some people to visit this place.

I endured my embarrassment and hurried to finish our breakfast.

“Uuuuh... embarrassing.” I slightly muttered and raised the head covering of my white robe.

Unlike me, Mio enjoyed this morning meal in a happy mood along with the people who saw our previous behavior.

After breakfast, I went around town with Mio.

“Mio.. don't you have to go back?” ask me.

“Lily-sama, this is still one way with home ku” reply Mio. In contrast to our previous awkwardness, Mio stepped on her legs without any burden and slightly hummed cheerfully.

Mio looks very happy.

“Finally. I can date Lily-sama” Mio's little mumble.

Dating huh?

Our footsteps arrived at a building that had a tall chimney. In view of the writing before him, this was the Blacksmith building.

“Papa! I'm home!” Mio just walked into the building and threw the things she was carrying.

A man with a tall and muscular posture came to catch Mio's luggage.

“Mio.. Beware of gifts for your Mother!”

Mammy? Maybe this guy.. Mio's Dad?

“Hoho.. who is this tiny girl?” the man looked at me and walked towards me but Mio blocked him.

Mio slightly exaggerated by taking out the sword in her belt and pointing it at the neck of the man.

“Step just a little.. You will die!” mio said in a harsh tone.

“M-Mio. calm down. It looks like it's just you. A beautiful girl who could threaten her father.”

“Lily-sama.please wait a minute here” Mio's tone of voice sounds cold.

“Uh.. Uhm.. Alright” I don't know what happened. Better, I follow Mio's words. As I expected, it turned out that man was Mio's father.

Mio pulled the collar of her father's shirt and brought it inside.

I don't know what happened, I could hear the loud impact and the small scream from Mio's father.

Mio exits the main door of her house, “Everything is clean, Lily-sama. Please login.”

Uh, am I gonna be okay inside?

I walked into this Blacksmith building, my first impression of this building was..

Very clean quality. Unlike the Blacksmith who seemed smelly, dirty, and stuffy. Blacksmith building is filled with wooden floors and glass cabinets filled with weapons.

“Eng? What is it?” my curiosity with the strange weapon was unbearable.

“What's up, Lily-sama?” Mio approached me who was silent in front of the glass cabinet.

I observed a puppet show wrapped in clothes and weapons.

“Mio, what are these clothes and weapons? The shape is strange but beautiful and elegant.”

“Lily-sama..” Mio was silent looking at me.

“I-It was my first work Mio said in a tone that held back her embarrassment.

“Eh? This is Mio's? Can I buy it?” for some reason, I'm very interested in these weapons and clothes.

“L-Lily-sama.”

“Oh, this is the payment.and if the price is still less.I will pay the deficiency” I immediately give the bag of money given by Sebastian.

“T-No! B-Not that is the problem. it's just that. the quality of the materials used is not worth it for Lily-sama.”.

“Eh? What does it mean?”

“Lily-sama.. My work is still not perfect!”

“But, you can still perfect it right?”

Somehow, I really wanted to get Mio's first work.

“Uhh.. if Lily-sama forces.. may anyway. but there is one condition!”

“Eh?” I feel like there's something strange about these conditions.

“I'll rate it after Lily-sama wears it!” mio said with a excited tone.

Mio. Your thoughts always surprise me. But, because I want your work.

I'm gonna do it!

Mio opened the glass cabinet and took the first piece, the shape was like a white cloth and a small, circular line was red. Beside him was a strange sword I was referring to.

I slightly opened my white robe, Mio who saw me taking off my white robe suddenly fell silent.

Little blood came out of his nose.

“Mio, are you okay?”

I approached Mio and held her face.

“There's little blood on your nose.”

I slightly rubbed it, but the blood coming out of his nose was flowing faster.

“MIIIIOOOOOO!!” I panicked a little and shook Mio's body.

“A-A-I can die quietly, now.” The words Mio spoke brought herself into a sleep filled with smiles.
