Chapter 8 - Party Invitation
“Party invitation? Ugh...” I expressed my disappointment when Sebastian gave me the invitation letter.
“Lily-sama, I know if Lily-sama is traumatized by that incident. But, rejecting the invitation from the royal family-“
“I know about it, the family of Marquess Rommel will get praise from other nobles, right?” my words cut through Sebastian's words.
“Yes, compliments that drop the pride of Marquess Rommel family in public space.”
“Ugh, it'll make my family a hassle. Thank you for bringing this invitation letter to my room, Sebastian.”
“It was already my duty as Butler, Lily-sama” Sebastian replied with a smile.
“Unm, I understand” reply me while closing my room door.
To be honest, I really hated the party after that horrible incident. I understand my body's terrible condition of wandering around in social circles. My dark skin is like a signal of danger that keeps me away from the crowd. It wasn't a big deal to me but the assessment of Marquess Rommel was determined by my presence.
“Better I don't attend that little party” my little murmur.
I opened the letter and read the contents. A neat and beautiful writing was set on a soft paper wrapped in gold ink.
“Ugh... What is this?” looking at the contents of the message that goes to my full name. The main purpose of this party invitation was my gratitude. My body suddenly trembled like it felt a troublesome thing waiting for me at that little party.
After reading the contents of the letter, I could feel the content of the happy Queen's heart after Princess Anastasia recovered from her illness.

“Heee~ So any rewards?” I said while teasing Zoe.

Aaa... How do I answer Zoe's questions. Her small size was too fragile to fall asleep in my arms. I don't want to refuse my spirit's request but...

Queen Victoria Rie VII reads the report on the family of Marquess Rommel. Her eyes focused on the small box containing the party dress with Lily's full name on it.

“I heard rumors about Lily-chan at the party earlier, didn't her last party have really bad memories? Did this party invitation not hurt his bad memory of the party?”
“K-The incident? Ah... It's unfortunate that it happened. Was my invitation well delivered?” Queen Victoria recalls Lily's bad memories at her last party. He heard about a rumor of a girl being hit by a glass throw containing red wine.

As Queen of the Aurora Kingdom, the royal family's response to the Crown Prince incident impacted the credibility of the royal family to lead the kingdom in the future. To that end, he visited the territory of Marquess Rommel with the Crown Prince and apologized officially. Of course, he made a small mistake just like the Crown Prince.
The party dress is a very small payment from the mental damage Lily has suffered. It was nothing compared to Lily's ruthless plan to welcome her little party.
