Chapter 29 - Black Wolf Resistance

I took out a sword from the sword sheath that was on my waist.

I could feel a small tremor on the ground coming from the footsteps of the wolf that was running over.

Thanks to Mio's skill in the form of Danger Sense, I was able to notice changes in airflow and my body's response that became sensitive to the circumstances around me.

“Eng? Stop?” the small tremor I felt suddenly stopped.

I could feel a sharp look watching me from a distance.

I immediately responded to their gazes by looking back at their positions.

From a distance, I could see the bushes shaking and the sharp gaze I felt was slowly diminishing.

“Ah, there apparently” my little mumble.

“Em.. Lily-sama?” Mio stood beside me. Looking at my sword-wielding hand, Mio took out two small swords tucked away between her thighs.

“A-Are we going to face something, Lily-sama?” ask Mio.

“Mio, what sword is it?” I was a little curious about the two little swords that were in Mio's hands.

“This? Em. This is a sword tanto. A sword that is easy to carry and use during emergencies. If only I had brought a katana, I wouldn't have had to use this little sword. In addition to being light and strong, the small size of the sword could be stored anywhere. Mio did not answer my question and I was too busy observing the beauty of the weapon hiding in Mio's smooth thigh.

“Good idea, I think I can use this on the sidelines of my clothes” my little murmur.

“Can I ask for one of these throwing knives, Mio?”

“Ung? Could you” reply Mio.

I took one small knife and threw it into the line of eyes of the bushes that were still watching me from a distance.

“L-Lily-sama?” Mio who noticed my little knife throw was shocked when the bushes that were far in front of us exploded and several black wolf bodies were thrown out.

Hmm. It seems like my body has progressed to the wrong path.

I don't know if my body is this strong, could this be a side effect as a Saintess or a Linked ritual I did before?

From a distance, I could see a black wolf running towards us.

I immediately searched for the source of Mio's voice and the sight of cherry blossom petals again covered my eyes. Mio used Sakura Vanish and Sakura Dash to move in front of me and kiss my lips.

“Hngg!!” mio's kiss was a little more excited than usual.

I took off Mio's kiss and closed her mouth.

“Mio, this is not the time to-“

“Humpf!!”

Mio ignored my words and forced my lips to accept her kiss.

Mio slowly took off her gentle kiss and glanced at the wolf ranks surrounding us.

Um, doesn't this look very dangerous?

But, why does Mio look so ordinary?

“Lily-sama, isn't it time?” mio said while smiling at me.

I didn't think she enjoyed the free time left to kiss and let the black wolves surround us.

“Mio..” I called Mio to tell her the little idea that popped into my head.

“Um! We will compete about the number of black wolves that have been defeated.”

“K-Why should I compete?”

“Then, we will compete and for the prize.” I stop my words to think about the prize.

“Ah! Did ya? Let's compete, Lily-sama!” reply Mio quickly.

It's just my feeling or the glare of Mio's eyes shines bright after hearing her gift.

“Um, Lily-sama.. If Mio wins, Mio me—“

Uhm? Why these?

Mio suddenly lowered her voice and a red hue adorned her sweet face.

“Um! Could be!” reply me.

“Really?! Um.. It's not a crime, is it?” ask Mio.

What Mio was thinking.

“Ehehe~ I will strive to get the prize, Lily-sama!” hearing Mio's last reply. A fragrant fragrance returned and the petals of cherry blossoms filled my sight.

I could hear the agonizing screams of black wolves and the power of Mio's spirit hunting them down.

“Lily-sama.. I will win this match!” mio said confidently.

I immediately used Sakura Dash and Sakura Vanish to appear in the back row of the black wolf. After I was in their back row, cherry blossom petals fell all around me and a fragrant scent spread widely around me.

“Sakura Taunt..” after I said that sentence, the black wolf's attention was directed towards me.

It seemed, Sakura Taunt was a little overboard to provoke the attention of the monsters.

A few black wolves ran towards me. They jumped at me while opening their fangs and swinging claws that were eyeing my face.

I reflexively swung my sword and subverted four black wolves in one strike. My sword slash sliced through the head of the black wolf and split it to the base of its body.

Black blood drops soaked my clothes and a foul scent kicked my nose.

Why is this black wolf blood black and gives off a foul scent anyway!

“Urghk!!” I slightly suppressed my nausea.

In retrospect, Ciel seemed to know about the black wolf's filthy blood that required this purification.

“Huuueee!! What a foul smell is this!” from a distance, I could hear Mio's voice complaining after being exposed to the splashes of black wolf blood.

I don't want Mio's sword to be broken because of this dirty blood.

My head was a little dizzy and my stomach was a little nauseous because of this stench that came all of a sudden so I used Sakura Vanish and Sakura Dash to get out of Sakura Taunt's reach to a little place calm from the stench.

“Anoo.. L-Lily-sama.” Mio said.

“Uwaaa!!” I was shocked because of Mio who suddenly appeared next to me.

I observed Mio's expression tightly holding her nose.

Could it be that the stench from the dirty blood was too strong for Mio?

“Ah, Mio.. Excuse me.. I was slightly exposed to splashes of black wolf dirty blood and this unpleasant smell.”

“Anoo.. Lily-sama. please pay attention to the condition of your clothes Mio said as she pointed at my clothes.

“Eh? EEEHHH!!” I was shocked after observing the messy condition of my clothes.

The dirty splashes of blood from the black wolf gave off a very pungent foul smell. However, one problem arose other than its pungent stench.

The dirty blood was able to scrape my clothes and reveal a small part of my body that was not covered with clothes.

I immediately looked at Mio and realized something. Mio covered her nose because of the small blood coming out of her nose.

“Em.. Mio.”

“Y-Yes, Lily-sama?”

I took off some of my clothes to protect my important body. Leave my little-seen pantsu.

I can see the blood flow from Mio's nose getting more and more out.

“Mio, time to seriously”, I said hatefully.

Black wolf!

I do not accept this insult!
