Chapter 17 - Hot Water Bath

“Welcome, Massster!!”

As we entered the entrance of the inn, the fox girls had lined up to welcome our arrival with a sweet smile on their faces. A sprinkling of flowers and the sound of festive bells filled our arrival.

“E-Eh? A-What is this?” Mio's mother was very surprised by this welcome.

“Congratulations Master, as the 100th visitor. The Master received a special gift to enjoy the lodging facilities and hot springs for free. Yeeey!!” said one of the fox girls.

I've heard about this before, in previous meetings between nobles there were talks about promotions like this to attract customers and this business strategy proved to be able to attract the interest of the general public.

But, isn't this 100th customer made up of three people?

How do we determine the 100th customer, if we come together?

Mio patted my shoulder and pulled my body back.

“Lily-sama, what if my Mom gets this special gift?” whispered Mio.

Oh, so that's what it means. Mio wanted to give this gift to her Mother because today is Mio's Mother's birthday.

“Um, may” I accept Mio's request.

“Thank you, Lily-samaaa-“ Mio was about to hug me but Mio's mother was leaning my body from behind.

“Then can I enjoy this gift with my son?” suddenly Mio's mother said something that surprised me.

“Eh?”

“Ehh?”

Mio and I were as surprised as Mio's mother said.

“M-I'm sorry we, Master. This promotion is only valid for one person in every multiple of 100 people. Regardless of age and physical appearance.”

“That's it? Can I move the gift?” ask Mio's mother.

The fox girl shook her head, “Our rules do not allow it.”

“Sweetest.. Does Lily-sama not mind this?” ask Mio's mother.

“Kurasa.. it's good to accept luck like this rather than reject it” replied me.

“Fufu.. turns out Lily-sama is very wise” praise Mother Mio.

Rather than calling myself wise, I just feel bad if Mio's request is not granted. Besides, with the rest of the money I'm carrying right now. Mio and I can still enjoy the same facilities as the prize.

Uh! also true. Why not spend the remaining money?

“Then, we also want to use the same facility” said me while removing some gold coins.

“L-Lily-sama?” Mio seemed surprised by my actions.

“K-We will prepare the facilities. T-Wait a minute, Master!” some fox girls ran around after receiving my gold coins.

“Em, A-Is it okay to spend that much money, Lily-sama?” asked Mio in a sad tone.

“Compared to Mio's devotion all along, such a small gold coin was nothing” I stroked Mio's head that was drowned.

“Lily-sama..” Mio received my hand caress in her head. In fact he started kneeling like a little fox enjoying a swab on his head. For some reason, I could see Mio's little tail waving in the direction of my hand caress.

“Mio...” I continued my hand caress from Mio's head to her face. Sometimes I pinched her little cheeks and stroked her chin.

“Ekhem! I don't want to mess up your precious time but some fox girls are starting to fall watching this scene.”

I was startled by Mother Mio's words and looked at the people around. In accordance with Mother Mio's words, some of the fox girls who worked in this inn began to fall. They kneeled on the floor while covering the red hue on their faces. Their fox tails and ears were bowed as if to endure shame.

I also tried to endure the sudden overflow of embarrassment, it seemed like I should pay attention to the place before committing such an embarrassing act like this.

“Ahaha.. haha.” Mio chuckled as she endured her embarrassment.

“Ehehe... hehe.” I followed Mio's little laugh.

“Either why, you guys become compatible with each other” replied Mother Mio.

Hearing the little reality from Mio's mother, I and Mio unintentionally held the red hue of our faces at the same time.

There are two small rooms in the inn divided by pink and blue on each door. We entered the pink door and hurried to pick up some wooden baskets that had been prepared.

This room is a dressing room specifically for women, behind the door of this room there is a door that is connected with a closed room hot spring. From a distance, I could see some thin mist coming out from the sidelines of the door. I can't wait to enjoy this hot spring.

Me, Mio, and Mother Mio took off our clothes and put on the hot spring facilities that had been prepared. After the wooden basket filled our clothes, we rushed into the room that was waiting for us.

Inside the room containing the closed hot spring bath was the figure of a fox girl waiting for us.

“Please, Master. We will help pamper your body before enjoying the hot spring” said the fox girl.

This kind of service seems to be common in this place, I can see Mio and Mio's mother smilingly enjoying this facility. I seemed to have doubts about their service facilities because it was my first experience in a place like this.

“It's okay, Lily-sama. They have trained for this task” Mio said to convince me.

“Just relax, Lily-sama! Leave this business to them” Mother Mio also assured me about their performance.

“Uuuuhh..” I slowly sat on one of the available wooden benches and removed my body protective towel.

“AHAAAK!!”

“M-Miooooo?”

Behind me, I could hear Mio's mother's panicking voice. I turned my head and found Mio holding her bloodied nose and a terrifying aura coming out behind her.

“Ekhem! Excuse me little girl!” Mio suddenly stood behind me and dragged the fox girl who was intending to wipe the hot water onto my back.

“Eh? Kyaaa!!” the fox girl Mio pulled was shocked.

“M-Mooo! Lily-sama why shut up?” mio said with a pouting voice.

Eh? What's the matter? Why did Mio's attitude suddenly change?

Didn't he just say to entrust my body to them?

Why did Mio become like this?

“M-Mioo?”

“L-Forget my words. I better do this!” mio said as she took the warm water beside her and washed my back slowly with warm water.

“Kuuuu!!”

Whatisthis? Why does this warm water taste so good?

“Fufu... What's the matter Lily-sama? Does this warm water feel good?” Mio teased me with her words.

Until a wooden basket hit Mio's head.

*Ctaaaak!

“Miiiooo...” a subtle and frightening greeting from Mother Mio was heard.

“M-Mamaa?” slowly Mio turned her body and Mother Mio had held the sword in her hand.

“You know this, right? General ethics while in the hot spring bath?” mother Mio asked with a threatening flat face expression.

“Hiiieekk!!” Mio slightly walked backwards after seeing her Mother.

This was my first experience seeing Mio scared. Could it be that Mother Mio's strength was so overwhelming that Mio was frightened like this?

“A-I will return to my place.” reply Mio.

“Fufu.. In that case, we continue this small gift” replied Mother Mio who was filled with smiles.

“Muuuu.. !!” Mio pouted slightly as she returned to her original position.

Without wasting much more time, we also enjoyed this hot spring facility.

Relaxing in the hot spring is not so bad.

I really enjoy this comfort.
