Chapter 12 - Mama's Anger

I don't really understand how the message concept works, but the pile of corpses standing up to greet someone's arrival would be an important message not to be missed, right?

In accordance with the instructions I made, Mio built a corpse tower at the entrance of the Royal Palace. They stood up with an forced smile and an upright posture that welcomed the arrival of guests.

“Not too bad, Mio!” I praised the perfect work Mio did and threw out a thumb as a sign of perfection for her hard work.

“Ehe.. Lily-sama.. Don't forget our bet,” reply Mio.

Mio's mood looked different than usual, a strange smile was engraved on her face and her heavy breath was fixed onto my body.

“Betles, huh? What do you want, Mio?” my many.

“I-Thuu.. Uhm.. B-Can I sleep with Lily-sama after we get back?” mio replied in a small voice filled with doubt.

“H-Only that?” my reply.

Mio nodded her head and looked at my face with a sweet smile.

“It was a fitting request for myself, Lily-sama. Sleeping together with the Master I love is the greatest happiness that cannot be replaced by anything,” Mio said by showing her respect as my personal servant.

“Miooo..” heard Mio's gentle speech, my heart was racing and becoming agitated. The sense of comfort I had with Mio became a big longing that was difficult to say by words. The kiss we once did became a tie to our relationship.

Mio slowly walked towards me and sat down beside me, that gentle smile aimed as a personal servant who was too sensitive with my condition. His hand touched my hair and stroked it like it was calming my feelings.

“Just relax, Lily-sama. After all this was over, the former Marquess who was famous for her ferocity on the battlefield would become a sharp weapon to protect her family. We are only doing a small defense for the attack by the royal family.”

Uhh.. It seems Mio misunderstood the feelings of my heart.

B-Not that means I'm disappointed by this misunderstanding. Merely, this state of affairs would be awkward if my longing was engraved clearly on my face.

I smiled to cover up my feelings and endure the embarrassment that started to surface my face.

It's the first time I've passed a curfew for a kid my age, the first offense I ever committed with Mio. It felt so thrilling to me, like a brat wandering around at night and ignoring the orders of the parents.

Zoe's explanation was cut off by a knock on my bedroom door.

“Lily?” said someone behind my room.

Without waiting for my answer, someone opened my bedroom door and entered it.

“Mama??” the one who entered my bedroom was the Marchioness Amagi. The look changed a little bit than usual. Mama was wearing military clothes with a long magic wand in her hand and her alert posture. If not mistaken, the wand was a military staff often used by royal witches.

“Lily-chan..” Mama's speech sounds soft but my body responds to an approaching danger sign. My instincts say that Mama is angry with me.

“What have you done at curfews like this, Lily-chan?”

“Forget about curfew, the day has changed to morning.”

“What have you done in the morning like this, Lily-chan?” continue your question with a smile.

My fine hair suddenly stood up after hearing the question and my body trembled signaling an unusual pressure from Mama.

“Uhmm.. Take care of something that attacked me?” reply me with a small tone.

Mama walked small towards me and gently hit my head with her magic wand.

The gentle punch hit my head, there was no pain I felt and the heavy pressure I felt disappeared slightly. Mama looked at me with anxious feelings and exhaled her heavy breath.

“Haaaah.. I know Lily-chan will be fine. But! Don't worry Mama, Lily-chan!” my mother exclaimed with a small smile.

I-It..

“A-I'm sorry.. M-Mamaaa.” I slightly bent over and stared at my bedroom floor to apologize.

“It's okay, don't repeat this deed again, Lily-chan. Issues concerning family self-esteem must be solved together! That's rule number one for the Rommel family!” exclaim Mama.

“And Mio.. Please don't spoil Lily-chan like that!” exclaim Mama to Mio.

“S-I'm sorry, Marchioness Amag,” Reply Mio.

“Already.. It's still long enough for our long journey. Now.”

Mama came closer to me and grabbed my hand.

“Let's sleep together, Lily-chan.” Mama said by pulling my body up on the mattress and putting her wand beside her body.

“A-Anooo-eye.. Mamma.. I-I have promised Mio to sleep together.”

“Eh? L-Lily-chan prefers Mio over Mama?” ask my mother in a sad tone.

“Uh.. Err..” I'm at a loss for words to answer.

“M-Mama.. Can Mio sleep together?” my door to Mama.

“Muuuu~” Mama's face pouted slightly and looked at Mio.

“T-It's okay, Lily-sama. Tonight I will sleep in the waiter's room,” Mio said with a move to the exit.

Before Mio left with Mama, I moved quickly using Sakura Dash and pulled Mio's body onto the bed.

“Haaauu..” small scream Mio.

My bedroom is a little narrower now, Mio and Mama are on my right-left side.

Wouldn't it be better to sleep together for a cold morning than alone?

Mama's facial expression was still pouting while Mio looked agitated at this state.

With that short gesture, a good night's greeting to Mio was successfully done.

“L-Lily-chan is? M-Mama didn't get it?” mama asked with a look at Mio's lips wet from my kiss.

“U-For now.. Anoo..” I'm too afraid to answer. Our relationship is not that close and it would be a shame to do so.

“First Mio.. Then those two special guests.. The queen even jumped into it.. Alice and Alyssa have done it too, right?” mama asked as if she was urging me.

“But.. Mama was left behind?” continue to ask Mama.

With a stronger urge, I kissed Mama's lips quickly and buried my face in a thick blanket. My face was hot and this feeling of shame filled my body quickly.

“N-Neee-s.. Lily-chan's.. Mama is still not satisfied.” little tease My Mama with a big smile.

Regardless of the small temptation from my Mama, I immediately entered dreamland and ran away from the small urge of my Mama playing my hair.

“Uumm.. Please don't interrupt my dinner snack,” Zoe's protest that's perched in my head hair.

Mama looked very happy and Mio looked awkward.

Meanwhile, Zoe seemed ordinary with this state of affairs.

“Good night, everyone.. Huuummm.” with that last greeting, the dreamland that had been waiting for my arrival was wide open and received my arrival perfectly.
