"Kanda, are you okay?"
A month has passed, Givan feels his wife is getting no better. Canda's pale face, showing that Canda's body was too weak to move.
His stomach hurt more often, and Givan took his wife for a gynecological check almost once a week. Cyst growth in the stomach Canda, almost beat the growth of a baby in the womb Canda.
The doctor immediately suggested, so that later the baby must be born earlier, from the estimated day of the last day of menstruation. Until the decision of Canda will be enlarged, it will be held in the next two months.
The thought of Givan who thought no-no, because it remembered the fate of Ai and her baby. He did not want, if until the only baby in the womb Canda also suffered a similar fate with baby Ai. She regrets her actions that did not come at all, in condolences to Ai on the day of her baby's departure.
Although Givan always convinced himself that it had nothing to do with it. But, he felt that this happened because Yang Kuasa wanted him to be aware of his bad attitude towards Ai.
He understands Ai coming and demanding things beyond his wishes. However, he should not be so steadfast to the helpless baby Ai.
The results of the DNA test, which was in the hands of his parents, did not attract the attention of Givan to know the results. He really did not take care of it, because he saw his wife's situation getting worse. His wife's stomach was like carrying twins.
"Let's take a break first, let me continue drying his clothes." Givan took Canda to shelter from the warm sun at eight this morning.
He also did not let his wife do any activities alone. As light as drying clothes, Givan tried to help his wife. Because he was sure, Canda wasn't really okay.
"Mas, if the cyst is lifted now can't it?" Canda felt so bad, because the abdominal pain was so intense.
Givan shakes. "Wait for our son to be strong, Canda. The problem is raised, our children are born. As big as it is, you gave birth to our son and removed the cyst." Givan repeatedly said things as the doctor explained.
"It hurts right, Mom." Canda whimpered again by holding his stomach.
Givan grew increasingly upset, because Canda never lost consciousness when feeling abdominal pain like that. He did not know how, other than to take his wife back to one of the nearby hospitals.
Back again, an infusion hose was attached to the back of his wife's hand just like a week ago. He remembered Ai's condition which often went back and forth to the hospital while pregnant, but he did not care about it because it kept his wife's feelings. He is indeed a Canda who is not okay, when he was a little pity on Ai.
Bad news was stocked, brother Givan began to arrive with some good hands for Canda to consume. They knew that Canda was forbidden to eat fast food.
"How am I supposed to be, Bang?" Givan massaged his temple, with elbows resting on the edge of the gurney that Canda occupied.
"Patience, if you're impatient is your baby's risk. You want the removal of the cyst now, yes get ready to lose your baby too. You know what, the risk is that babies are born so young?" Kenandra only gives a picture that goes into Givan's logic.
Givan nodded. "I can't see him like this." Givan pressed the corner of his eye, he would not cry in front of his wife who was already slumbering.
He did not expect, the disease gnawed the body of his wife who was so ideal in his eyes. Within a month, Canda looked so pitiful.
Givan thinks the cyst is like a pest inside his wife's body. Not only gives pain to Canda, but absorbs nutrients in the body of Canda. Still lucky, when he knew if the weight of the baby is common according to his gestational age.
"I came here with the group of Awang and Nafisah. They're...." Kenandra conveys incomplete information. He seemed to invite Givan to ask, in his hanging sentence.
"Where are they going?" Givan looked up at his adoptive brother's face at a glance.
"They're nemenin Ai at IGD, he hasn't got a room yet. But I've been arahin Awang way, he said it's okay if I stay too," continued Kenandra later.
Givan frowned. He knew if Ai was in self-custody again, why did Ai get to the hospital? Givan reluctantly asks further, deliberately waiting for Kenandra to tell him herself. He was worried that Canda would wake up and hear his question about Ai, and Canda thought something else about him asking about Ai.
"I was in shock when I handed the DNA test results to her bathroom. He fainted and hit the corner of the bed. I suggest a scan, because I'm worried that the wound isn't bleeding. Fear of deep wounds." Kenandra told me slowly, sitting on the edge of Canda's safe that was still sleeping.
Givan shifts his chair, so he can face off against Kenandra who is sitting in his wife's gurney. "Why did he go into shock? Didn't he know from the beginning, did he?" Givan did not even look at the results of the test, because he believed the results were not intervened.
"Well that's him. Ai this is the max, if it's your son. And the result is....." Kenandra seemed to be weighing to continue her sentence.
"How did it work?" Ghifar, who had been listening from the long sofa, moved to listen to the news.
Givan glanced at his mother. "Gee! You're just a ngagetin!" He rubbed his own chest.
Ghifar chuckled amusedly, looking at his brother who was so shocked. He understood, his brother could not be surprised when he was serious.
"Lebay! I didn't know I was here." Ghifar chuckled until he held his own stomach.
"It's not a matter of tau dauunya, but you suddenly appear. It's a soft cake for you!"
Kenandra and Ghifar ranted, hearing Givan liken him to a subtle-creature. The relationship between the brothers is getting closer, as they grow older.
"Take hold of him, Far. He's afraid of the cake in those soap operas, Far. Where Ai wanders, continues to manipulate her son's DNA test results. Let the result be that, cake in want Ai that. It could be, brother you're having a heart attack, kidney, spleen and stomach all right." Kenandra further diluted the atmosphere, making Ghifar even more carried away with his laughter.
"Yeah.... Not so. The logic is, a big hospital cannot if the test results are manipulated. But perhaps there is a fallacy, or there is a medically understood DNA similarity, but it is not understood by us that layman. We all think that yes, it is our child. There is a medical similarity. Can you, Bang?" Givan turned his gaze again towards Kenandra.
