Leister's shout echoed to the corners of the forest and they immediately scattered with their respective horses. Simultaneously a lump of charcoal-black flesh fell from the tree above them. The part of his head that looks blunt with a pointed tip and sharp teeth that appear coiled in the mouth. Their horses started to move uneasily as they felt the air that the creature before them gave off.

The creature got up and looked around then began to suck up something with its circle-shaped mouth. Ivew, who was ten meters away from the five-meter-long creature, panicked as his horse let out a sound and caught the attention of the creature in front of him.

The black creature pulled out its sharp teeth and moved by dragging its body towards Ivew. The girl immediately spurred her horse away in the other direction along with Laveron's panicked cry. Ivew glanced at the black creature behind him who was chasing after him in a panic.

“The creature looks like a leech but with a larger version,” said Ivew goosebumps and spurs his horse faster. His beloved brown horse was increasingly agitated when he felt the vibrations resulting from the monster's body movements.

Ivew's emerald bead glanced back at the monster behind him and began to pick up the bow draped over his shoulder. Slowly stroking his horse Ivew began to pull his arrows towards the black figure chasing after him. The arrow struck the front center of the monster's body.

The black monster started to topple his body and let out a foul smelling green liquid. Ivew closed his nose and endured the vomiting. Behind them the emerald-eyed girl heard the sound of gunshots aimed at the body of the monster that was chasing her.

Ivew continued to drive his horse unaware that one end of the swamp was in front of him, the girl frantically deflecting the direction of her horse's motion to the right. The black monster behind him that kept rolling did not have time to turn and ended up going into the swamp.

The swamp splash almost hit Ivew if he was late in using the wind as a protective shield. The emerald-eyed girl heaved a sigh of relief as she managed to escape the monster's pursuit and spurred her horse towards Laveron who shouted her name in the distance.

The smile on Ivew's face was gone as from his right direction, on top of a towering tree the same monster was hanging and preparing to descend hit his body. The girl's emerald bead widened as it went down the top of the surrounding tree. Some of the same monsters hung with sharp teeth that looked ready to finish them all off.

“Abang away! Don't come! The monsters are here!”

Ivew's voice echoed and was heard well by Laveron and the troupe. Lolita looked up at the tree where Ivew had just passed by on her horse. The black monster swayed and was about to descend making the pomegranate-eyed girl cry out in panic as she felt the tremors produced by the monster's body touching the ground.

“We use Laveron bomb!” raung Leister looked at Laveron who nodded and asked his fellow military soldiers to prepare the bomb they were carrying.

In front of them Ivew continued to drive his horse trying to avoid the pursuit of the monster behind him. The girl looked up again as she stared at one of the monsters hanging above her head about to knock herself down.

Ivew frantically controlled the wind around him to keep the monster's falling position away from him. His favorite brown horse was restless and Ivew stroked the horse with his trembling fingers.

Ivew dodged to the right as did Laveron and the group preparing the bomb. They trembled slightly as the tree that was hit by the monster green liquid shattered and blistered.

“Sial! Why is this monster chasing me again!” pekik Ivew was frustrated when the monsters he tried to keep away from before also chased after him.

Laveron gave command to one of his comrades to throw a bomb at the monster that was now twenty meters away from them. Ivew, who saw the bomb thrown at the monster behind him, dodged back towards the tree line on his left and slightly lost his balance as the wind from the explosion almost hit him.

Ivew glanced at the two monsters that were trying to chase him to death in the bomb blast containing vanilla plant extracts. The girl heaved a sigh of relief and accelerated the pace of her horse towards Laveron and the others who were waiting for her.

“You okay, Ivew?” laveron asked from on his horse to look at the worried sister. The emerald-eyed girl nodded and stared at the bodies of the two medium-sized monsters that seemed to be convulsing due to the effects of the bombs.

After making sure the monster died one of the military soldiers approached towards the monster carcass and took the green liquid around its body that was put into a small tube. The liquid that will be given to scientists in Otto City because the monster in front of them has never been found before. Laveron glanced at Leister and the young man nodded to continue the journey, although Laveron was the leader in the entourage but the navy-eyed young man kept Leister involved in every decision.

They arrived in front of the swamp that was right in the middle of the black forest. Part of the forest that is very rarely explored. In fact, Laveron and the team had not previously reached this section because they were combing the forest horizontally following the direction of the protective wall, opposite to the current expedition conducted vertically from the direction of the flowerlax mansion.

They took back the swamp water in front of them. A little sunlight came in from the crevices of the leaves of the trees. The black swamp seemed shallow but there was not a single life in it. After dispersing and going around they all made sure that the area around the swamp was safe.

Laveron and the others decided to enter a deeper part of the forest. The forest land is getting soft and full of water but their horses are still able to walk just by moving slower than before.

Entering the deeper areas of the trees around is getting closer and it needs high concentration for them to control the horse rate. Lolita who was beside Ivew looked up again in case there were other creatures hanging on top of the tree. The girl's pomegranate bead kept glancing at the surroundings and began to look at the imperial protective white wall that was visible in the distance.

The strong wind again hit them making their horses panic and move aggressively. Ivew directly controlled the surrounding wind with one of his hands. The horses regained their composure as the wind subsided but one of the Flowerlax knight horses escaped and ran forward towards the source of the coming wind. In that panic they were startled by the cries of the horses in front of them and also the sound of the stabbing of sharp objects hitting the flesh.
