Meeting Room, Imperial Palace

Ivew who was standing behind Leister felt the gazes of all the nobles being fixed on him. Because not usually the Flowerlax family bring someone who will help him especially Duke Ekan Flowerlax who is also reluctant to bring his own biological daughter to come with him.

Leister who felt the gazes of the nobles were fixed on Ivew who was standing behind him cleared his throat while reading some documents in front of him.At this time they were waiting for Emperor Aradi to come with his aide, Raceta.

Ivew's emerald bead gazed around the room and met Diano who was smiling towards him. The girl joined in with a polite smile and slightly bowed to Duke Rozery's sole heir. Ivew tried to calm herself down as she felt an intense gaze from the young man across the circle table in front of her, the girl turned her gaze to stare at one of the seats that remained empty.

A young man with lilac eyes and old gray hair kept looking at her making the emerald-eyed girl uncomfortable. The arrival of the Emperors Aradi and Raceta stopped the young man's gaze and they immediately rose to greet the emperor.

Ivew glanced at the nobles in front of him and looked at Laveron who was also inside the room. The young man with navy eyes was smiling and trying to calm the tension that was slightly radiating on the younger brother's face.

I know these nobles in front of me are the main characters in the story. But I don't remember their names and traits! Ah ... stupid me. Inner Ivew tried to show a calm face as Emperor Aradi glanced at him at a glance.

The emerald-eyed girl was about to go out with the aides and other noble secretaries who had finished giving all their files and salutes. Ivew exclaimed with pleasure at last free from the gazes in the room and felt fortunate that he did not need to attend the meeting. However, his steps stopped when Emperor Aradi told him to stay in the room.

“Didn't according to rumors circulating Lady Mirabeth ever fight one of those monsters?”

Emperor Aradi turned towards Raceta who nodded and confirmed the question posed by the emperor. The nobles who were inside the room again glanced at the silent Ivew at the door. Laveron and Lesister looked at each other and glanced at Ivew, who was forced to stand quietly behind Leister.

Raceta smiled and began to open their regular meeting. Ivew clenched the two as the girl's emerald bead caught the eye glint of the young man with lilac eyes across from Leister's desk. Ivew turned his gaze to look at Laveron who was beginning to relay information from the ground military forces about the movement of monsters.

The girl fell silent as Laveron alluded about the presence of monsters that were very different from the record

histories. Monsters with new forms and new attack tactics overwhelmed them.

However, the good news was that those monsters only appeared on the border of the black forest with the Flowerlax region. They also described a brief expedition to ensure the safety of the imperial protective wall in the Flowerlax area as well as the attack of an unidentified black figure who wounded the Princess of the Flowerlax family.

“Black figure attack? Do you know who that figure is?”

Raceta asked representing the emperor and Laveron replied with a headband.  The navy-eyed young man immediately ended his report and sat back to glance at Ivew who looked delighted and amazed by the appearance and charisma of his brother when delivering the report.

Brother is so cool! I don't know why I look at her. Ivew's inner self as the girl felt Laveron's gaze towards her was very similar to that of someone in the previous world.

Ivew averted his gaze as the emperor requested a report from the naval military forces in the naval city of Rizery. Diano Rizery who came as a representative of the Rizery region and also the navy began to explain everything. The sea side has been quite calm over the past few months. In fact, the sea tribe did not catch any movement from the sea monsters that usually attacked and tried to penetrate the shield of their tribe.

Emperor Aradi muttered as Diano finished his report and looked at the nobles who were also thinking.

"Perhaps because there is a new variable that causes the monsters to move more aggressively, Your Majesty,” said the lilac-eyed youth with dark gray hair.

Ivew felt an uneasy feeling as the young man's lilac eyes glanced at him and again looked at the emperor as the meeting leader. All the nobles who were inside the room glanced at Ivew who was slightly snapped with everyone's sudden gaze.

“What do you mean, Young Master Ramound?” leister asked trying to ease everyone's attention towards Ivew standing behind him.

“Ya .. Assumption only. I'm sure you understand my point, Young Master Leister. What variables I mean and different monster attack patterns.”

Emperor Aradi seemed to think and glanced at the only girl in the meeting room who remained silent and stood behind the Flowerlax representative. The Emperor smiled and focused his attention on Ivew, who was staring at Laveron, clenching his hands.

“What do you think, Lady Mirabeth? Didn't you ever fight one of the monsters that first appeared?”

Emperor Aradi smiled haughtily as he asked Ivew the same question. The emerald-eyed girl gulped with slightly trembling hands as all eyes were actually looking at her with varying views. Clenching both of her hands Ivew began to calm down and glanced at Laveron who was looking at her with an unreadable look.

Time to test my luck. Inner Ivew stared at Emperor Aradi who was waiting for his answer.

“That's right Your Majesty. I had indeed fought one of the monsters that had just appeared when I visited the flowerlax mansion. All I can say is that the monster is quite formidable and has an attack pattern that instantly kills its prey with various attacks. Different from other monsters that usually attack with only one weapon. Besides these monsters were not interested in eating, they only came to kill. At least that's what I see Your Majesty.”

Ivew replied in a calm voice as all the attention was completely directed at him. Raceta seemed to note some things on the paper she was carrying, while the young man with lilac eyes was smiling obliquely as he looked at Ivew.

Ivew's attitude in the face of the pressure directed at him and the logical answer Ivew gave even though the girl was not part of the military.

What an interesting girl. The young man then turned to look at the smiling Emperor Aradi and

nods.

Laveron and Leister fell silent with Ivew's reply. So detailed as if the emerald-eyed girl knew everything. Leister glanced at Ivew who was standing quietly behind him and slightly flinched upon hearing the proposal that Emperor Aradi had given them all.

“Hmm ... How about we have an expedition to the Rizery area? While looking for clues as to where the monsters disappeared?”
