Rayn's orchid bead scoured towards the passageway in front of her, the moment the two reached the intersection of the passageway. Two paths lay before them and Rayn was sharpening her ears to look for the source of the sound that led to the exit.  

Ivew followed quietly behind him while wiping away the remaining tears. Ivew's emerald bead stared at Rayn's back in front of him.

“Did you find him, Young Master?” Ivew whispered a peek from Rayn's back towards the two streets in front of them.

The young man with orchid eyes shook his head and looked back ahead. Ivew glanced at his palm and began to move his hand in search of the existence of the wind.

The girl's fingers flicked as a light blue wind thread formed from her fingertips into a passageway that was right in front of the two.

The emerald-eyed girl immediately walked over and invited Rayn to follow in her footsteps. The two walked in silence and bead orchid Rayn stared at the back of Ivew who was in front of her. The jet-black hair of the girl seemed to sparkle in light of the red flames they passed through.

His second step came to a halt when he heard the sound of laughter from the passageway behind them. Rayn's orchid bead turned to stare at the passage behind him as it heard the sound getting closer.

Ivew immediately pulled the young man's hand towards the exit as the girl began to feel the wind tremors from the wind thread she made.

“A little more, Young Master!”

Ivew whispered softly as she sped up her run while staring at the light at the end of the hallway. Rayn who was now running behind him nodded and glanced back when she heard the exclamations of the figures behind him.

“It looks like they just realized we're running,” Rayn said looking back at Ivew nodding her head.

The black-robed figures were getting closer to the two. Ivew who started to feel the wind around him immediately made a wind protector. The girl's emerald beads glanced at the black figures behind her who started to emit black tendrils from their robes.

The clashing sound of a black tendril with Ivew's wind shield rang out, the girl bit her lips and ran faster as she felt her strength drain more and more.

Rayn glanced at Ivew who was beginning to sting, the young man's bead orchid staring at the black figures behind him who continued to point their black tendrils towards Ivew's wind shield.

Rayn stared at the light blue wind shield protecting her. The young man sped up his run and patted Ivew on the shoulder slowly making the girl look at him confused.

Rayn simply smiled gently and immediately held Ivew in both arms. The girl with emerald eyes exclaimed in shock and hugged Rayn's neck spontaneously.

Ivew glanced at the smiling Rayn and started to run faster causing a greater distance with black-robed figures chasing after them. The black tendrils began to stop touching Ivew's shield as their distance grew further and further.

Rayn stared at the beam of light in front of her and the young man sighed as he felt the wind blow touching his old gray hair. Ivew who was inside her carriage also let out a sigh of relief as they got closer to the light hole in front of them.

“Wah ... you guys managed to escape yes ...”

The two gasped when they heard the heavy echo of the sound from the dim passage behind him. Rayn clucked in annoyance and sped up her run when the two finally walked out of the dimly lit passageway.

Rayn sped up her run as they made it out completely, the young man turned back to stare at the dark mouth of the cave with a rock mountain on top of it. Rayn screeched as she looked at the black robes of the figure chasing them out of the mouth of the cave.

That's a rock mountain. Is this in Angena? How could I not know this area? Did they hide it with magic? Inner Rayn glanced at Ivew who continued to stare towards their rear.

Ivew moved his fingers to move the wind around them. The girl gave a small smile as her wind managed to push a few black-robed figures who were about to chase after them.

A black figure that used black tendrils started to take out its tendrils to help it move faster. Ivew again let out his wind to form a whirlwind and locked the cloaked figures within his vortex.

“That's a great idea,” muttered Rayn glanced at the whirlwind behind her and went back to running.

The young man with orchid eyes started to feel a numbness in his running legs. His breathing was a little heavy with sweat constantly flowing all over his body. Rayn stared at the stretch of trees not far from her with a twinkle of relief in her orchid eyes.

However, the young man's delight was a little piqued when he heard the small whisper of Ivew in his carrier and the girl who moved her hand to form a stronger shield. Rayn took a backward glance and the young man's orchid bead widened when he found two giant black balls coming towards them.

“It's not that easy for you to run.”

The sound of the cloaked figure resounded behind them. The two gasped when one of the black balls touched Ivew's wind shield. The girl with emerald eyes exclaimed stifled upon seeing her wind shield begin to crack. With both hands shaking Ivew continued to maintain his wind density to form a shield.

Rayn heard Ivew's sigh getting heavier, both of them were currently about to enter the area of trees on the slopes of the rock mountain. Rayn's orchid bead glanced at the other giant black sphere that was about to approach her.

Rayn who continued to force her legs to run jerked to look at her feet that no longer tread the ground. The young man's orchid bead gazed back to find a giant black sphere that shattered the wind shield Ivew had made.

The young man clucked in annoyance and hugged Ivew in his carrier preparing to face the impact of their bodies with trees and stone earth before them. Ivew's hands drooped weakly as his wind shield completely shattered.

The emerald bead of the girl narrowed slightly staring at the rocks on the ground that were ready to welcome their bodies. Ivew's fingers pat Rayn's frantic-looking shoulders.

A faint and thin light blue light surrounded their bodies for a moment before the two hit the ground and were thrown towards the tightly stretched trees.

Rayn groaned slightly as she felt her body continuously hit the thing in front of her. The young man with orchid eyes exclaimed stifled as Ivew slipped out of his carrier.

Rayn's orchid bead stared at Ivew who ended up in one of the crumbling trees when it hit her body. The girl's jet-black hair stretched out over her face, her emerald bead slightly opened with a hand that was trying to reach Rayn who was a little away from her.

The young man stood up with a staggered body. Rayn grimaced as she felt numbness and heat on her back, her head swirling with buzzing ears. His eyes were slightly blurred, but Rayn kept trying to reach Ivew who was unable to move.

 “Ha ... You guys are still not dead?”
