“Wah .. it feels so relieved to be able to let go of everything.”
Cona stretched her body while watching the television show in front of her. The night came back and the girl was eating fried rice made from ingredients that were still left in the refrigerator.
“Long life as Ivew Mirabeth made me forget their faces. I'm sure they won't stay silent after this.”
Cona paused his sentence and put a spoonful of fried rice back in his mouth. The roaring rain outside the house made the girl smile as she felt the warmth of her homemade fried rice inside her mouth.
“Until when am I in this world huh? I still can't find the meaning of the sentence Etwar.”
A month passed by the time of the modern world. Cona Renjana has lived her day as best she can and is beginning to forget her other identity as Ivew Mirabeth.
A smile on his face as he returns gets a chance to meet Daisy, his only loyal friend.
A knock on her door ripped Cona out of her mind. The girl immediately moved her wheelchair towards the door and opened the door of her house slowly.
Daisy's sumringah face immediately entered her vision and the girl's fingers moved slowly hugging Cona's body.
“What's up, Daisy? Is everything okay?” cona asked a glance at Daisy who was still holding her.
“Are you not angry because I didn't call you this month?”
Daisy let go of her embrace and looked down at Cona's face. The girl with brown eyes only shook her head while smiling faintly. “I'm sure you have a reason behind all that right, Daisy?”
Daisy was speechless at Cona's reply and then smiled faintly. The girl's hand moved to shuffle the black mane on Cona's back and laughed when she heard Cona's annoyed grunt.
“I'm glad you accepted everything that happened, Cona. You're great to survive this far.”
Daisy muttered softly staring at the smile engraved on Cona's face. The girl immediately went to the back of Cona's wheelchair and prepared to push her wheelchair.
Both of them walked leisurely under the warm sunlight. Then-travel vehicles and also the cynical gazes of the people who saw Cona and her wheelchair.
The two soon arrive at a park outside their housing complex. The park is quiet in the morning and there are also many trees that cool the air. Cona smiled slightly as she felt the shade of the tree above her.
Cona's brown bead glanced at Daisy sitting on a garden chair beside her wheelchair. Cona looks at Daisy's appearance which is a little different from the last one she remembers. There were a few eye bags under Daisy's eyes and her body was slightly thinner than before.
“Are you okay, Daisy? Have you been sick for a month?” cona's question made Daisy look at him.
“Sure I'm fine and I'm not sick. I'm healthy. Why?”
Daisy smilingly looked at Cona who was now frowning. Something felt strange to her, but Cona decided to ignore it and looked back at the garden in front of her.
“I just want to say .. I'm glad you're present in my life, Daisy. Thank you for being the best friend that never left me in any circumstances. Thank you for being the shoulder I lean on when I can no longer find the back. Don't leave me yes, Daisy .. You're the only family I have.”
Cona smiled as the wind came caressing her and moving her back black hair. Her brown bead looked at Daisy who was sitting next to it with a warm look, while Daisy who heard the sentence glazed over and immediately hugged the body of Cona who was slightly smaller than her.
Years of friends with Daisy this time, Cona sees the girl crying so hard, usually Daisy always hides her cries and leaves only traces of red eyes and nose and a slightly hoarse voice.
“What's up, Daisy? Did something happen?” cona asked as Daisy's tears never stopped.
The cloud clumps from the blue sky above him continued to move as the wind again caressed the two. The garden atmosphere around them that was quite quiet helped Cona to calm Daisy's cries.
“I'm sorry .. sorry, Cona. I'm sorry ...”
Cona frowned when she heard Daisy's words.
“Sorry? Wh-wh-what for? I'm saying thank you to you, Daisy. Why are you apologizing to me? Did something happen?”
Daisy's hand moved wiping away her tears and once again hugged Cona tightly. The girl immediately took off her embrace from Cona and looked at the friend's face with a small smile on her face.
Cona frowned looking at the smiling Daisy as if no cries had been let out before. The girl's eyes and nose looked red to be proof that her crying was there.
“Daisy you-”
“It's okay, Cona. All is fine.”
Daisy cuts off the sentence of Cona who was about to ask her. Cona fell silent as she saw the smile Daisy gave her.
The girl immediately got up from the garden chair while stretching her body and turned to look at Cona who was still looking at her confusedly.
“Let's take a walk. The weather is beautiful to spend the day in nature. Do you want to go to the beach? It's been a while since you didn't go to the beach?”
Cona nods her head at Daisy's enthusiastic face and lets the girl again lead her wheelchair towards the beach, her favorite spot.
The two are on the beach until dusk comes and Daisy again takes Cona home while telling her about how beautiful the sunset they just witnessed.
Cona glanced at Daisy who was enthusiastic about telling stories and recalled the girl's previous cries. Until Daisy finally comes home and the girl's back disappears behind the door of her house Cona remains dissolved in the misgivings that come to her.
“Is he really okay?” mumbled Cona started to change her clothes and get ready for a break.
Cona stared at the brown bread Daisy had left for her and began eating the bread while watching the television show in front of her. Suddenly the sight of his eyes darkened and his soul felt pulled back. Cona's brown bead widens when she realizes the room she is in.
“Eh ... This is in Daisy's room right? How am I supposed to be here?”
“You are allowed to leave your body. We let you see the common thread of all events that will take you to our world, Ivew Mirabeth.”
Cona flinched as the two words containing her other identity sounded. A slight pain struck his head and Etwar's sentence went back to spinning in his mind.
Rubbing her rough face Cona looked at her floating body without the help of a wheelchair and stared at the room Daisy in front of her. Busy staring around the room Daisy neat and the friend who was writing in his book.
Cona's brown bead widens to see black smoke appear inside Daisy's room. Cona fell silent as she saw a familiar figure present inside Daisy's room. A black figure with crescent moon eyes and a grin was present on his face. The returning black figure evoked a grudge in his heart.
“Halo ... the creator!”
