“One thanks! Is anyone safe?”
Ivew opened his eyes when he heard voices whispering around him. His sense of smell began to catch the fishy smell and charred smell that made his breath tight.
The sound of sirens in the distance was heard along with the sound of water touching a hard object. Ivew opened his eyes and soon the emerald bead met with the sight of a traffic accident.
A familiar sight that was always trying to be forgotten and hidden in the corner of his memory. Ivew's foot stepped towards one of the cars that was shuffled on the front and left side and was in an inverted position in the middle of the highway.
Panic calls from those around him rang out as flames were seen growing from the back of the car. Ambulance began to arrive followed by a fire engine that had been trying to extinguish the fire.
“Quick! There are victims trying to get out!”
Ivew stared at the right corner of the car and found a young man trying to carry someone in his arms out of the car. The growing flames and the black smoke that continued to pour out made the young man in distress.
The firefighters quickly approached and pulled the young man and someone in his arms. The young man looked at the fireman who was carrying his body and glanced at the little girl who was in his arms.
Firefighters followed the young man's line of sight and immediately took the little girl to another ambulance. The condition of the little girl was far from good, her legs were covered in blood.
The little girl's forehead was also draining quite profuse blood, her body feeling cold as the firefighters frantically moved her body. The young man smiled slightly as the girl in his arms was brought inside
ambulance.
“Sorry .. for everything.”
The young man whispered softly as his eyes began to blur. The voice of the officer who kept calling him was no longer heard until everything was dark and silent. Tears flowed in the corner of his eyes as the young man's eyelids were completely closed. The sound of explosions was heard again from cars that continued to burn leaving a poignant scene for the surrounding people who were witnesses to their deaths.
Ivew saw everything with empty eyes. The girl's fingers trembled to touch the face of the young man lying on the ambulance emergency bed. His face was smiling thinly with eyelids now tightly closed and the remaining tears still visible flowing in the corner of his eyes.
Ivew's emerald bead turned to look at another ambulance where a little girl was getting first aid against her wound. Ivew's bead stared at the girl's bloodied feet just as the ambulance door was shut and the car set off at high speed towards the hospital.
The anxious cry of a nurse who helped deal with the young man's wounds nearby made Ivew turn his head. The young man's face was now pale, no more movement on his body. In fact, the hand of the young man who was trying to be held by Ivew was cold.
“Hahaha ... Why am I here?!”
Ivew glanced at the surrounding scenery with eyes that began to shed tears. His head ached but his heart was much more hurt as it felt the old wounds being reopened. Ivew's emerald bead stared at the ambulance that took the young man away.
The sire ambulance that was getting away made the girl close her ears tightly as sadness burst into her soul. The surrounding situation again turned more silent and quiet. Ivew's emerald beads stared at the ambient atmosphere filled with white shades and also the smell of medicine.
The girl with emerald eyes walked over and found a hospital bed with a little girl lying on it. An oxygen hose attached to his body, a bandaged head, an infusion needle in his right hand and an Electrocardiogram device that occasionally reads fill
“This ... My memory as Cona, isn't it?”
Ivew muttered softly and gently combed the hair of the little girl lying in front of him with her fingers. A soft smile was on his face as he glanced at the little girl's feet hidden under the hospital's white blanket. There was no one in the room but the unconscious little girl before him.
The open door of the room featured several nurses who entered the room carrying notes and also intravenous drugs. They began to check on the girl's condition, checking her pulse, eyelids and making sure the girl's wounds were no longer open.
“One-time pity. Only he survived, didn't he?” ask a nurse who brought a note to her colleague who was changing the infusion of the girl.
“Ya .. only this child survived. The young man who helped him out also died from inhaling too much smoke, ” said the nurse who had just finished changing the infusion of the little girl.
Ivew stared at the two nurses with a flat face. Her fingers continued to gently caress the little Cona's hair. The memory of her life as Cona rotates in her memory in line with the state of the room around her that changed again.
Tears running down her face now led Ivew to the funeral scene. Rain drenched the cemetery along with black umbrellas protecting the people who delivered the bodies.
Amidst the umbrella crowd a wheelchair was seen with the little girl sitting on it, staring blankly at the tomb that had just been sown with various colors of flowers. A nurse standing behind him and patting the little girl began to sow flowers on three adjoining gravestones.
“That's his son? It's a pity yes ..”
The nurse standing next to the little girl glanced at the whispering mothers while pointing at the girl in the wheelchair. Ivew who was standing not far from the little girl clenched her hands tightly. Tears continued to flow from her emerald eye bead and the girl fell sitting on top of the tomb that was kept wet by the rain.
“Nona, let's go home. The increasingly cold weather is not good for your health.”
Ivew averted his gaze as he stared at the nurse who was talking to the girl in the wheelchair. Ivew's emerald bead examines the expression of the little girl before him. Brown eyes that looked blankly at the three headstones and his trembling hands were trying to stand up
“Nails nurse, can't I stand anymore?” lirih the little girl felt her legs unable to move following her wishes.
Ivew stood up and looked at the three gravestones in front of him. Removing the trail of tears that kept flowing down his face Ivew looked around with a sharp look. The girl moved closer to the little girl who was in a wheelchair and whispered softly in her ear.
“Whatever happens you must not give up! Don't let anyone oppress and kill your will to survive!”
Ivew smilingly looked at the little girl in front of him who turned towards him as if hearing his whispering voice. Ivew's emerald bead looked around as her fingers felt the wind coming to caress her.
“I know this is no longer my world. So whoever brought me here. Out!”
