Rizery Mansion

Laveron looked up at the blue sky above him. Two days have passed since the disappearance of the younger brother and they continue to search. In fact, until now there were already some nobles who also disappeared without a trace. This caused his own anxiety among the nobles who felt uneasy in their territory.

“Say the second son of the Angena family also disappeared,” said Leister when he just returned to search for Ivew.

Laveron who was staring at the window looked at Leister who was sitting on the sofa. The ruby-eyed youth leaned his body and stared at the ceiling of the room above him. The chandelier with blue crystal looks magnificent juxtaposed with the blue color of the room wall.

“How about Duke Ekan's search, Young Master?” laveron sat down on the sofa opposite Leister.

The young man with ruby eyes sighed while shaking his head. Duke Ekan was the first noble to disappear without a trace followed by Ivew who Veister said was lost due to a black magician attack.

The day after Ivew's disappearance, they also got word that the second son of the Angena family had also disappeared while he was patrolling around his territory. Veister who was in the corner of the room opened his eyes.

The youth with the two-colored bead was still recovering his magic power after obtaining a high-level potion from Duke Dexter. Veister glanced at Laveron who was sitting in front of Leister, the young man with two-colored eyes back in view of the results of the investigation the sea military soldiers had conducted in Ivew's room.

They found a green liquid in several corners of the room and immediately delivered a sample of the liquid to the Rozitto region for further investigation by scientists there.

“Then what now? We can't possibly just keep quiet, Young Master?”

Veister regained consciousness from his daydream upon hearing Laveron's question. The young man with the two-colored bead again closed his eyes and focused his magic power.

“Winds who watched everything. Tell us the truth about the body lost from sight. Infyd!”

Leister and Laveron turned their heads towards Veister as the young man cast his spell. A brown glow mixed with silver shone around them as a white-colored magic circle was present in front of Veister. A small wind whirled around inside the room as a creature came out on top of the magic circle.

Veister opened his eyes and stared at the small white light that slowly turned into a white butterfly. The butterfly shimmered in the center of the magic circle and flew around the smiling Veister.

“Similar to Grein,” muttered Leister gazed at the flying butterfly and alighted on the hood of Veister's black-silver robe.

The young man with two-colored eyes smiled and nodded. The white butterfly flew out of the room towards Ivew's room which was still guarded by the knights of the Rizery family. Veister immediately followed the white butterfly followed by Leister and Laveron.

The knight standing guard in front of the shattered room door slightly gasped as he stared at the white butterfly that was flying towards him and was about to pull out his sword. However, his actions came to a halt when he saw Veister running followed by Leister and Laveron.

The knight bowed respectfully and let the three people in. Laveron who was the last one to enter the room fell silent as he looked at the faint white light within the room. They saw a hologram displaying Ivew's fight with a black figure attacking him. The three fell silent as the white hologram displayed a scene of Ivew being impaled by black tendrils on his right shoulder.

Laveron's navy bead instantly glanced at the puddle of blood on the wall beside the entrance of the room. The young man's hand clenched tightly and stared at the white hologram in front of him. They saw how Ivew tried to survive by taking out a wind shield to protect her.

Veister held back his anger at the sight of the protection bracelet he had given Ivew when it broke. They watched the figure continuously emit black tendrils full of durin no matter the tendril was missed and pointed at the window behind him.

“What is also a black magician, Mr Veister?” leister asked in focus staring at the hologram in front of him.

Veister nodded in response. The three young men gasped as the black figure aimed a black tendril full of thorns at the wound on Ivew's shoulder. The emerald-eyed girl looked dizzy and began to lose consciousness as the figure pierced her right shoulder.

The three young men's beads stared at the blood falling from Ivew's shoulder on the white hologram in front of him. The black figure immediately grabbed Ivew's body with ordinary black tendrils and brought the girl closer to him.

The black figure seemed to grin and approached towards the window. Leister flinched as he watched the figure grin at him and soon disappeared replaced by a blast that destroyed the room.

They glanced at Ivew who had moved his hand towards the wall near the shattered window. The fingers of the girl trembledly wrote something from her blood that continued to flow as the black figure stared towards the window.

“Oh there is the holy witch apparently. Lookie!  He's still alive. Do you want to leave a final message? Hihi ...”

The black figure chuckled and grinned as it stared towards the window as its eyes met Leister's eye gaze.

“Please ... they will not die anyway, if lucky.”

The three young men's beads widened when they heard the heavy sound of a black figure inside the hologram talking to Ivew who was trying to break away.

“Heh .. I'm sure! They'll all be safe. They are strong ...” ivew whispers slowly echoed inside the room.

The black figure only grinned and let out a black light from his hand and directed him towards the center of the room with a grinning face. The black figure immediately disappeared within the darkness carrying the weakly drooping Ivew in its tendril entanglement along with the explosion that shattered the furniture and

chamber door.

The white hologram disappeared into a white butterfly that perched on the veil of Veister's robe. Laveron glanced at Veister and was slightly surprised when the black figure called him a holy witch.

“So you ... holy witch? Please forgive my disrespectful attitude, Mr. Veister,” Laveron said bowing respectfully to Veister.

“Already ... no need to be formal. Call me as usual. No rejection!” veister said lazily.

Laveron nodded and looked back at the calm-looking Veister and Leister.

So, Young Master already knew about it. Inner Laveron.

The three young men went back into silence and glanced at the slightly tidy condition of the room. Leister's ruby bead gazed at the blood writing Ivew had written, the young man's foot stepping towards the wall beside the window and touching the writing with his fingers.

In fact, in such a precarious situation he could still leave a clue. Real great. Inner Leister went through the scriptures with his fingers.

“He defended well,” Veister said after a long silence and glanced at Laveron who was silent behind him.

Veister felt anger rising from Laveron's body as the young man's body appeared to be oozing.

“Then what now, Veister? Where did that figure take Ivew?”

Laveron asked and looked at Veister who seemed to be thinking. The young man with two-colored eyes smiled glanced at the white butterfly above his head which flew towards Laveron.

“I'll try to track him through the wind trail. So relax!”
