Forced Transmigration
32 - Girl and Fire

“What will we meet often?”

Ivew stared at the white-haired girl who was now sitting under the shade of a tree. The fingers of the girl moved to play the wind and move thousands of flowers around them.

“Of course .. there are many things I have to teach you.”

The white-haired girl smiled and glanced at Ivew who was standing beside her. Her white hair moved again as the wind gently stroked her, the girl's laughter coming out as her mouth chanted a hum. Ivew leaned against the tree behind him and felt a peaceful feeling.

“Then what should I call you? I can't possibly call a white-haired girl right?” Ivew asked with a small laugh and picked up one of the flower petals that flew towards him.

The girl smiled and said gently between her senators, “Call me Iletta, Sweet sister.”

Ivew smiled and nodded as the white-haired girl beside him stood up and stroked her head slowly. The flower petals around them flew back as Iletta again invited Ivew to walk. The girl's hand grip felt warm making Ivew smile wider.

The second step stopped when they arrived at a flower that looked in contrast to the other flowers. The red flower seemed to glow brightly like there was fire surrounding it. In fact, the wind that blows around it did not extinguish the light of the burning fire.

“What is this, Sister Iletta?” Ivew asked as her emerald bead shone exposed to the light from the flower in front of her.

The white-haired girl smiled and placed her palm in front of the flower that started to shine brighter. The petals of the flower began to grow and spread out a light that felt as hot as fire.

Ivew's emerald beads stared at the light of the firebox that continued to grow and soar high up. The wind around them began to decrease as the light from the flower was now two meters high.

“You will get it soon,” said Iletta distanced her hand and turned to look at the silent Ivew.

“Means?”

“Enough to here. You should be back soon. See you later, sweet sister.”

Iletta's smile was the last thing Ivew's bead emerald saw before the darkness returned and Veister's faint voice calling out his name rang out. The girl opened her eyes and met Veister's annoyed look. The young man snorted as Ivew finally woke up and turned back into his cat form.

Vague sunlight from outside entered through the curtain of the horse carriage he closed. Ivew sat up and stretched his body glancing at Veister who looked at him silently. The young man who had now returned to the cat form cast a magic spell to tidy up the slightly messy black hair of Ivew.

The sound of a knock on the door of the horse-drawn carriage caused the girl to turn her eyes and immediately open the door as Leister called out her name. They went back to breakfast and continued their journey when morning came. Passing through the thick forest close to the imperial mountains and becoming the final barrier of their city with the imperial capital.

The quiet atmosphere of the forest and the slight sunlight shining down on the inside of the forest made the emerald-eyed girl feel a strange feeling as her ears caught a slow knock on the window of the horse carriage from the passing wind all around.

“What's what, Ivew?” leister's question caught the look of uneasiness from the emerald-eyed girl in front of him.

Ivew's voice was cut off as their horse carriage suddenly stopped abruptly making the girl fall forward. It was fortunate that Leister's quick reflexes caught her body and pulled Ivew to sit closer to her followed by Veister's cat sitting on Ivew's lap. Leister started grabbing the sword hilt at his waist on standby with everything going on.

The frantic sound of the knights outside the horse-drawn carriage made the ruby-mannered young man look out the window and be greeted with embers of fire burning the forest to their left. The flames continued to grow along the path they left behind and further expanded to the other side.

Some knights began to panic and the flames from the fire almost hit their chariots. Leister immediately got out of the carriage and just as the door of the carriage opened the heat of the fire immediately greeted them.

Ivew who was still sitting inside the carriage frowned as she felt the heat of the fire touch her skin. Veister's cat on his lap immediately ran out, making the emerald-eyed girl run out and call out Veister's name. Ivew's steps came to a halt as one of the burning trees fell down and fell right beside her. Their chariot drivers immediately drove the horse-drawn carriage away from the increasingly smoldering fire.

“Halo ...”

Ivew's emerald bead that was about to run towards Veister widened when it heard a very excited voice greeting him. The girl's emerald eyes were fixed on the embers that were devouring the trees, even the sound of Leister's scream calling out her name was ignored by Ivew.

The girl stepped closer to the source of the fire without her noticing that the Veister cat who had extinguished the fire on the other side of the forest turned around when she heard Leister again calling out Ivew's name.

“Are you ready?”

The excited voice was again heard by Ivew. The emerald-eyed girl stopped right in front of a large tree whose leaves were already in the flames. Some of the trees had already fallen down. Ivew's jet-black hair fluttered as the blazing flames in front of him followed by the heat that brought Leister and the surrounding knights to a halt.

The Veister cat immediately ran and came to a halt beside Leister who was trying to get closer to grab the body of Ivew who was starting to get hit by the flame.

“What happened, Mr Veister? Why can Ivew stay there and not be bothered by the heat of the fire?”

Leister grew increasingly panicked as the ruins of the tree branches again produced a wind mixed with charcoal and dust. Veister's cat was silent and focused on looking at Ivew. The cat's two-colored eye bead glowed as it saw Ivew's hands raised about to reach the flame in front of him.

The brick-red light filled the vision of everyone who was there and simultaneously they closed their eyes. Ivew's emerald eye beads gleamed slightly as the flames around started to move and revolve in his palm.

“You succeeded! After a long time I finally found a figure worthy to use this fire!”

Ivew fell silent as the excited voice came back to him. Shifting his gaze around the forest with the flames extinguished Ivew let out a sigh of relief. The large tree in front of him started to lose its embers into a small red flame mixed with blue. A breeze of wind was present around them bringing the fire closer towards Ivew and immediately went into the flower tattoo on his right hand.

“It ... fire power, right?”
