Laveron was speechless at Veister's cat's reply and glanced at Ivew who was beside him. His navy beads stared at the abrasions on Ivew's cheeks and hands, as well as his jet-black hair that was slightly tangled from falling free from heights. Laveron sighed and immediately sped up the pace of his horse. They reached the flowerlax mansion at night and immediately got off their horses.

“Why are you back? Isn't there still two more days?”

Laveron who was discussing with Leister turned his head and looked at Duke Flowerlax who was standing on the stairs towards the front yard and walked towards them. Several flowerlax knights immediately lowered their heads politely and returned to their respective places. Laveron glanced at Leister who was carrying Lolita on his back. The ruby-eyed young man's face looked calm but there was anger evident from his eyes.

“Greetings, Mr Duke! We are back because of the condition of Young Miss who is not good,” said Laveron lowered his head politely.

The blood-red eyes of Duke Ekan Flowerlax glanced at Lolita who was still unconscious in Leister's sling. The man just stared flatly and turned to look at Ivew who came down respectfully greeting the flowerlax ruler beside Laveron. Veister's cat just sat staring at the duke in front of him.

Leister who saw the duke's indifferent demeanor just clenched his hands and immediately entered the house carrying Lolita who opened slightly

his eyes and glanced at the father with his pomegranate bead. The pomegranate-eyed girl clenched her arms around Leister's neck which continued to walk.

“It's okay. I will always be with you. I promise!”

Lolita closed her eyes when she heard Leister's voice. Feeling warm in the arms of the cousin who promised to always be with him. Behind them Ivew and Laveron fell silent as they watched the two enter the mansion. Ivew slightly shifted towards Laveron who was standing next to her as she felt Duke Ekan's gaze fixed on her.

“Ya let them go .. at least your expedition went well right, Ivew?”

Ivew nodded in response to the question asked of him. The military fellows behind Laveron and Ivew glanced at each other and remained calmly waiting for the duke's next order. The flowerlax ruler immediately asked Laveron and Ivew to report everything that happened to his study, while the other members of the military were allowed to return to their homes and prepare with their next orders.

They nodded and left with the sound of the horse tread getting away. Ivew's emerald bead glanced at the flowerlax mansion's serene-looking hallway. Laveron who was walking beside him remained calm following the duke's footsteps in front of them.

At the intersection of the third hallway passed by Leister who had just come out of his room to go to Lolita's room. The duke's blood-red eyes only glanced at the glance of the young man in front of him and again walked towards his study. Laveron and Ivew again bowed politely and followed the duke's steps.

“Meet me later in Lolita's room. Grein will lead you!”

Ivew turned his head to look at Leister as the young man passed by him walking towards Lolita's room. Laveron gently nudged Ivew's shoulder which had stopped walking and sped up the girl to follow the duke who was almost in front of his study. Veister's cat kept following them calmly using his invisibility magic. The two Mirabeth brothers stood in front of the duke's desk.

Laveron started reporting everything that happened. The monsters they had just seen, the sudden attack they had obtained as well as the state of the protective wall were still fine. Duke Ekan Flowerlax received the report well and asked for an explanation from his side.

Ivew nodded and began to explain everything he saw. The monster that was chasing him, the condition of the protective wall he saw from the top of the black tree as well as the black figure that attacked him Lolita.

“Black figure? Above the protective wall?”

“I think the emperor should hear this news. Thank you for your hard work. You can come back!”

The two nodded and immediately walked out of the duke's study. Ivew sighed while in front of the duke's office door. The knights guarding the door of the duke's study room only smiled and thanked them for their hard work. Laveron's attention to the knight was sidetracked as red butterflies with silver shades were present back around them.

Ivew immediately withdrew Laveron's hand to follow in his footsteps. Grein continued flying in front of them leading the two Mirabeth brothers to the Young Miss's room. They stopped at the door of the room in silver and Laveron knocked on the door.

The door immediately opened displaying Leister's smiling face and immediately telling them to enter. Veister's cat who was in invisibility magic immediately dispelled his magic the moment they entered Lolita's room.

Ivew's emerald bead looked at Lolita sitting with a few pillows behind her back, the girl dangling a smile welcoming the arrival of Ivew and Laveron.

“How do you feel, Young Miss? Is it better?”

Laveron asked as she greeted Lolita respectfully followed by Ivew standing next to her. The pomegranate-eyed girl nodded and glanced at Leister who was sitting on the chair beside her bed.

“What duke says something?” leister looked at the Mirabeth brothers in front of him.

Ivew glanced at Laveron who shook his head and briefly explained their conversation in the duke's study. The two Flowerlax nobles nodded and Lolita's room went back into silence.

“What's with the atmosphere of this room?”

They all flinched and stared at the silver-tailed black cat sitting casually at the end of Lolita's bed. The pomegranate-eyed girl was more shocked looking at the cat in front of her who was actually talking. Despite hearing everything that had happened from Leister it was still difficult for him to believe it.

“Te-thank you for saving me, Mr. Cat,” said Lolita trying to ignore the nervousness that suddenly appeared.

Veister's two-colored eyes glanced at Lolita and nodded while looking at the pomegranate-eyed girl in front of him deeply. Lolita who felt the gaze from the cat in front of her only smiled and was a little bit worried.

“Do not worry. Affection does not always come from a strong blood relationship. Everyone deserves affection, even if you don't get it from blood relationships even though there are many people who can pour out affection for you. You just need to find it!”

All the pairs of eyes inside Lolita's room stared in admiration at the black cat in front of them who had just expressed her thoughts. Lolita fell silent and lowered her head, feeling that the sentence had really hit her heart. His delirious bead glanced at Leister who was sitting quietly beside him. The young man who was always there for her and accompanied her, who always reached out even though Lolita repeatedly brushed him off.

“So, Lolita Flowerlax. Don't let your heart be filled with vengeance!”
