Ivew was speechless staring at the flower tattoo on his hand. The two petals of the tattooed flower have their own color.  “So the fire is yours? Your powers? Just like that wind?” leister asked looked at the smiling Ivew and nodded his head.

Leister chuckled softly imagining Laveron's angry expression while Ivew just shuddered in horror imagining Laveron's resolute face. The two again dissolved in talks over the empire. The manners that Ivew had to take care of when he met the nobles later, their meetings with the emperor and crown prince as well as regular meetings to discuss about monster attacks.

“Then what should I do, Young Master?” Ivew asked me to stroke Veister's cat who was asleep nearby.

Their chariots finally stopped after entering the palace gates and ascertained their identity to the imperial soldiers. The palace in white with golden pillars and a light blue roof seemed to sparkle in the washing of twilight light. Their horse-drawn carriage led to the pavilion which was on the west side.

“Welcome to Imperial Palace, Ivew.”
