Laveron's fingers opened the door in front of him despite the slight difficulty of balancing Ivew's condition in his trunk.

In the quiet hallway in front of him Laveron dissolved into his chaotic back-of-mind, the young man's navy bead stared at Ivew's slumbering face and dangled a gentle smile on his face.

“I hope you're always happy, my little sister.”
