66 - The Anger of the Saintess (1)

Ivew's emerald bead smouldered as it stared at the other monsters that were closing in on him. Rayn who was trying to defend her hand to tear the monster body with the sword started to feel numb.

The young man's orchid bead glanced at the silent Ivew below. The young man's left hand tightened his grip on Ivew's right hand.

Rayn flinched as she felt another wind coming from her lower direction. The young man's orchid bead widened staring at the embers of green flames pouring out bit by bit from Ivew's left hand that hung in the air and began to spread throughout his body.

Ugh .. a little hot. Rayn's mind as the green flame slightly hit her hand.

The black figure with crescent moon eyes that was below grinned as it saw green flames coming out from Ivew's body and shot the girl towards the monster that was about to eat them.

Rayn immediately exclaimed to take Ivew away from the monster beside them as the two were about to reach the ground.

The young man immediately pulled out his sword from the body of the monster who kept shouting in pain. The monster's body fluids hit his body, but the young man with the orchid eyes kept pulling away Ivew's hand that didn't seem to hear his words.

Rayn immediately ran while pulling Ivew who occasionally let out his green fire on one of the monsters who was about to attack him.

“There's a plan, Ivew?”

Rayn turned to look at Ivew who was breathing out. The black crescent-eyed figure behind them again let out a tendril full of thorns. Trying to chase the two so as not to escape. Rayn immediately cut off one of the tendrils that was about to inhibit them.

Ivew stared at one of the monsters screaming in pain beside him. The body vibration of the monster made its stride to run occasionally dazed. The girl looked at the green embers in her hands and looked at the running back of Rayn in front of her.

"Young Master, can you divert the other monsters?"

Ivew moved closer to Rayn making the orchid-eyed young man turn his head and stare at one of the moving monsters behind them.

"I'm always ready!"

Rayn smiled and immediately ran in the other direction making the monster behind them immediately chase after her. The monster's sharp teeth came out and slammed into the ground below. Rayn tightened her grip on the hilt of her sword and spurred the spirit within her. 

His orchid bead glanced at the teeth of the monster that kept butting the ground behind him. Rayn then turned around and immediately ran towards the monster, staring at the sharp teeth ready to crush his body.

The young man immediately shot to the side of the monster's body and thrust his sword into the monster's shiny black body. The monster's agonizing cry echoed, but Rayn still carried the sword still stuck inside the monster's body running.

Tearing the monster's side and removing the liquid inside. The breath of the orchid-eyed young man began to wail, but Rayn continued to run and try to tear the monster's body apart.

The young man's steps came to a halt when he saw the green flame before his eyes. His orchid bead widened staring at the magnitude of the green fire that scorched the body of the monster who continued to scream.

Another voice of pain made Rayn turn her head and look at the crescent-eyed figure confined within Ivew's whirlwind. Rayn's orchid bead turned to look at Ivew who was behind her.

The girl's back black hair fluttered following the motion of the wind moving wildly around them. Rayn pulled out her sword from the body of the monster that was no longer moving.

His orchid bead stared at the long scratches that stretched horizontally across the monster's body accompanied by the body fluids of the monster that came out soaking the ground.

Rayn took a deep breath and immediately moved towards Ivew. Rayn slightly flinched as she watched the girl with emerald eyes continue to unleash two different forces of nature.

His right hand moved to control the wind to restrain the movement of the crescent-eyed figure, while his left hand moved to control the green flames which continued to burn the huge body of monsters not far from them.

The crescent-eyed figure inside the Ivew whirlwind chuckled in annoyance. The hand with those long black nails started to scratch the wind that kept spinning around it.

Ivew frowned as he felt the density of the wind in his vortex start to stir. The girl tried to keep her concentration and again condensed the wind on the vortex in front of her.

Rayn who had just arrived beside Ivew gasped as she saw the red liquid flowing from the girl's nose. Ivew's emerald eyes seemed to glow brightly in contrast to his pale face.

"That's enough, Ivew! Your body has reached its limit!"

Rayn clasped one of Ivew's arms to attract the girl. Ivew looked at Rayn with her emerald eyes and shook her head. The two of them gasped when they heard a bang from within the whirlwind in front of them. 

Manik Ivew glanced at the charred monster in his green fire vane and immediately stopped its fire power. The fingers of the girl moved to remove the red liquid flowing down her nose and stared at the vortex of wind in front of her which started to disappear.

"He's tough too."

Ivew looked at Rayn who was standing slightly in front of him with her sword pointed forward. The young man's orchid bead looked focused forward with a sharp glint that seemed to be present in the gaze of his eyes.

The figure with the crescent moon eyes was shouting loudly with a black light present around his body. Ivew's emerald stoning beads stared at the figures that came out from the dark circles that formed behind the crescent-eyed figure.

Two black-robed figures were present behind the crescent-eyed figure carrying a large container that gave off a foul stench mixed with fishy.  Ivew's widened emerald bead stared at the liquid in a large container that poured into the body of the crescent-eyed figure.

A dark purple mixed black light was present around the crescent-eyed figure who was now laughing widely. Rayn stared at the red liquid flowing down the body of the crescent-eyed figure falling towards the ground.

Smell of blood fishy. Inner Rayn stared intently at the crescent-eyed figure in front of her.

"Are you curious about the liquid inside this container, Saintess?"

The crescent-eyed figure spread out its hands with a body that began to glow pitch-black, while the two black figures behind him lowered their heads and let the black light out from their bodies fuse together the crescent-eyed figure in front of them. The two black-robed figures immediately turned into dust as the last black light shot out from his body.

"He absorbed his own members?"

Rayn pinned her fingers on the handle of her sword with her orchid eyes that remained focused looking forward. Ivew who was beside her covered her nose as she felt a fishy smell that twisted her stomach.

The girl clenched her hands together when she found out the liquid in question the crescent-eyed figure in front of her.

"Hihi .. This is the harvest from the toys we always carry. A harvest that is very beneficial to our strength."

The crescent-eyed figure licked the red liquid flowing towards his fingertips. The eyes of the crescent moon seemed to glow a deep purple and a strong wind immediately struck the two as the body of the crescent-eyed figure began to change.

Crazy psycho! Inner Ivew held back his anger.

Long spiked black tendrils seemed to wave behind his body accompanied by four sharp legs that came out under his body. A wide laugh echoed as the crescent-eyed figure completed the change of his body.

"Hihi .. get ready for your death, Saintess!"
