Ch.24 - Ding Xiang's
“So miss's name is Ding Xiang huh? Why is your name different from the Xue Clan?” Xu Feng spoke curiously and looked at the figure carefully. She honestly felt a little strange seeing the three leave the two of them in the room.
“Senior Xu, before my father died, told me that he used to find me asleep in a basket floating in the river as a baby. In that basket was my name written on a piece of paper.”
At this point Ding Xiang stopped. Xu Feng was a little shocked in his heart when he heard what he said, not because of the story he told but rather because of his extremely hoarse and crude voice.

Ding Xiang lowered his head for a moment before finally looking up at Xu Feng.
His simple actions immediately caused Xu Feng's eyes to widen, his mouth gaping in disbelief. He was finally able to confirm that the seven days and seven nights rumor turned out to be true!
Xu Feng stood up like a statue, his body was even slightly tensed. He felt that something was holding his throat so he could not get a single word out. He had originally prepared himself but it turned out that reality was far different from his wildest imagination.

Xu Feng felt like crying, this was the first time he regretted the decision he made.
“Can I pull my words back?”
