Xu Feng approached a tree and hid behind a branch, he could not move any closer or his whereabouts would be known. Xu Feng did not have a technique that specialized in stealth, he only relied on the Body Lightening Technique to eliminate the sound of his footsteps.

If he continued to force closer, his scent and breath sounds could be detected easily by them.

“I seem to have to visit Shadow House again.” Xu Feng smiled wryly, he realized that his engineering arsenal was still far from being versatile.

When Xu Feng was busy with his thoughts, he suddenly felt an invisible strange force trying to attack him from afar. Xu Feng's entire body fur stood up and his instincts cried out to avoid contact with that strange power.

Xu Feng hurriedly enveloped his entire body with Qi energy and controlled his Sixth Stage aura to collide with the mysterious power. Just when Xu Feng's aura smashed into the force, it faintly appeared a thin rope-shaped transparent energy in the air.

The energy was trying to get close to Xu Feng but the aura of the Sixth Stage was constantly hitting him strongly. Worried that everything was going bad, Xu Feng hurriedly pulled out his sword and slashed at that transparent rope with great Qi energy. Under the combination of aura and Qi energy, the strange force trembled and was no longer able to hold on and immediately disappeared into thin air.

“What power was that?”

Xu Feng glanced at the surroundings warily, he was not sure if the mysterious power had actually disappeared or would reappear. But when Xu Feng spread his perception, his expression turned solemn, he could not find a single existence of the scouts, as if they had simply disappeared!

“What really happened?” Xu Feng's face turned dignified, everything that had just happened was so strange, he seemed to be facing something unknown.

Xu Feng lowered his head and hid behind the leaves, his eyes narrowed while watching the surroundings vigilantly. Xu Feng knew that a little bit of negligence and he would probably be in danger.

But after lurking for a while, he did not find a single movement, there was only the silence and silence of the cold night. Xu Feng frowned, the more silence the more strange it felt to him, he even felt a slight chill in his bones.
