Ch.76 - Truth

It took half a day for Xu Feng and the Huo Village entourage to arrive at Xue Village. They arrived at nightfall. With so many people, it certainly attracted the attention of the villagers.

“Sials.. Especially this!?” Xue Song cursed loudly as he watched the entourage in front of him. He had just finished his task of organizing the residents of Tan Village and was about to return to rest. Yet simultaneously Xue Song was also a little astonished. Why was it that every time Xu Feng came out and came back, he always carried thousands of people? Is it so easy to pick up people nowadays? Xue Song no longer understood, he simply admired Xu Fengs ability.

“Ohh.. You showed up at the exact moment Xue Song.” Xu Feng noticed Xue Song's whereabouts and waved at him with a grin that immediately caused the old man to want to cry without tears. He really had to work hard today.

Not long after, under the gloomy face of Xue Song, he escorted Huo Teng and the others to build a temporary camp, just like how the residents of Tan Village did. Before leaving, Xu Feng also had time to remind him to stop the planned construction of Tan Village.

Although Xue Song was confused, he did not question Xu Feng's wishes. He was even a little relieved that he could finally let go of the huge workload.

“You're back.” Ding Xiang was busy preparing food in the kitchen and seeing Xu Feng's arrival, he immediately smiled gently at him.

Xu Feng nodded slowly in response, he felt warm in heart. Nothing is more fun than home, and nothing is more fun than someone who always waits and welcomes him every time he comes home. That feeling was something he had never felt before.

Time passed and night came. Xu Feng and Ding Xiang were having dinner together and occasionally laughed in jokes. As a man from Earth, Xu Feng had his own way of making jokes that sounded very foreign and new to Ding Xiang's ears. He had never heard such a joke.

The two couples fell into a relaxed moment and for this time, Ding Xiang no longer had to wear a robe that always covered his entire body. Due to the wishes of Ding Xiang himself and the approval of Xu Feng, no more were allowed to be in the Villa apart from the two of them. That way, Ding Xiang no longer needed to worry about displaying his true self.

To Xu Feng, it was torture. He felt like he was on the border between heaven and hell. If not for his determination and the fact that he had lived twice, Xu Feng might have been defeated by worldly desires. Xu Feng himself was shocked over his high self-control.

Xu Feng tried to speak as gently as possible so as not to hurt Ding Xiang's heart.
