Great Swordsman

Great Swordsman
Ch.44 - New Technique

“Master!”

When everyone was focused on Xue San, a cloaked figure suddenly came over to Xu Feng, he was Shao Kun. Xue Song was a little curious about the figure, he did not recognize it.

The assassination attempt that occurred last night was not scattered because Xu Feng ordered everyone to keep their mouths shut until the appointed time.

Xu Feng naturally had another intention of doing so.

“What's up?” Xu Feng was a little serious, he had already ordered Shao Kun not to leave the Villa unless something urgent happened.

Shao Kun did not immediately reply, he was silent for a moment before approaching Xu Feng and whispering something. Xu Feng's face immediately slowly hardened, his eyes showing a momentary flash of light.

“Solve them without getting caught.”

Xu Feng whispered a simple command that immediately made Shao Kun nod slowly before leaving and disappearing from the crowd.

“People are in great hurry.” Inner Xu Feng.

Shao Kun had just mentioned that he had detected several spies from Tan Village who had entered the village, they were the ones who were given the task by Patriarch Tan to find out what was happening in Xue Village. However time was past noon and the two brothers had not returned yet, the impatient Patriarch Tan immediately sent people to give him information.

“Protectors, that person.” Xue Song had yet to speak and was interrupted by Xu Feng with a wave of his hand.

“Do not ask much. You'll know when the time is right.”

Xu Feng explained faintly, he then directed his gaze back towards Xue San, the boy was still in a state of focus and continuously repeated his movements.

“His understanding of swordsmanship is very high, he was born as a natural swordsman.”

Xu Feng inevitably clicked his tongue, there was appreciation in his eyes. He had no idea he would find such a rare talent in a remote village, it was fortunate that he had managed to find it early.

Time slowly passed, Xue San who was originally so focused finally stopped and closed his eyes. Moments later his eyes opened, his face flushed like a tomato.

“Protectors! I'm – I broke through to the elementary realms!” Xue Yan clenched her hands into the air excitedly, she had never expected to gain enlightenment at a time like this.

Xu Feng smiled and congratulated him, this brat gave him an unexpected surprise. Xue Tong on the other hand was already agitated, he was staring at Xu Feng full of anticipation, his eyes even glazed over.

“Hehe..” Xu Feng chuckled at Xue Tong's expression, he then approached the boy and gave him instructions. To be honest there wasn't much to improve on Xue Tong's movements, the boy was very simple in his swordsmanship.

“You've been good, you're just lacking a variety of attacks.”

Xu Feng explained briefly while demonstrating what he meant, Xue Tong paid his full attention and did not want to miss a single thing.

The way Xu Feng moved was strange, sometimes his left foot was in front, sometimes also his right foot, he looked so simple because his every movement was no more than a foot away, he was only within that radius during the demonstration.

However this seemingly simple movement brought about many changes and variations to the old Xue Tong movement, this move also matched the calm and stable character of Xue Tong's swordplay.

Xue Tong was earnestly paying attention while following Xu Feng's teachings, yet in just a few moves he stumbled and nearly fell down.

“This.” Xue Tong was surprised, he did not understand why he had made that mistake. Thinking that his mind was lacking focus, he then repeated the movement but eventually stumbled.

Xue Tong was bluffing his teeth in unacceptable, he repeated again but no matter how hard he tried, he would always stumble whenever it was already in the middle.

“What happened?”

Xue Song frowned, nor did he know what was wrong from Xue Tong's movements, Xue Song felt the movements Xue Tong made were correct without any mistakes.

Xue Song was unwilling to ask Xu Feng, he was worried that the child would be hit hard if it continued to fail to do so.

“Nothing is wrong, his movements during this time are very stiff, his body and mind are used to it so he takes longer to adapt.”

Xu Feng gave an answer that immediately calmed Xue Song's heart, the old man was afraid and did not want any of the village's backbones to fall into the abyss of depression.

“No need to be disappointed, you just need a little time.”

Xu Feng patted Xue Tong's now moody shoulders, he did not explain further that his talent was actually inferior to Xue San for fear of lowering his spirit, it was better to just leave it that way.

In life, hiding the truth is sometimes a wise act.

Xue Tong's face turned red and excited, what Xu Feng said earlier was not a lie, Xue Tong indeed only needed time for his body and mind to adapt.

However to break through to the elementary realm was another matter.

“Good, proceed to the next one.”

Xu Feng immediately stopped their actions and proceeded to the next fight. But compared to Xue Tong and Xue San, the appearance of the eleven youths was not particularly stunning.

All of them can only be considered as averages.

“You have done your best, as long as you keep trying, I am sure you will become a great figure in the Forest Eagle Sect later.” Xu Feng gave a final cheer before leaving the training area.

Xue Song followed and escorted him away, along the way the old man continued to look at Xu Feng with an excited face, if not for the difference in position, Xue Song would have long since hugged Xu Feng and kissed him.

He had found a great teacher!

“Protectors, pass here.”

Ding Xiang gave way when they arrived in one of the small rooms, inside of which was only one wooden table, on top of which lay three thick brown leather books. The color and condition of the book is a sign that has sailed the river for a long time.

This was the most important room of the Xue Clan that was located next to the main hall of the Pavilion, there were two guards stationed in front of the entrance as patrons of the clan heirloom.

Xu Feng immediately walked up to the table and picked up one of the books, he blew away the settling dust before opening it curiously.

On the outside of the book it says ’Technical Relieve Body’

A moment after Xu Feng opened the book, a panel window suddenly appeared through his vision, one more technique was added there.
