Maybe you are familiar with the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, where reportedly if there are planes or ships passing through the triangle will disappear without a trace.
The Bermuda Triangle is an oceanic region in the Atlantic Ocean covering an area of four million square km that forms a triangle. The three points of the triangle are Bermuda (UK) at the north point, Puerto Rico (United States) at the south point and Miami (Florida, United States) at the west point.
It seemed like the mystery enveloping the area was slowly beginning to unfold. Scientists recently claimed they found the answer to the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. It all started when they discovered a series of active craters. A series of craters are thought to be strong near the Bermuda Triangle off the coast of Norway. Basically, the craters are half a mile wide and up to 150 feet deep. Scientists theorize that the craters are made of methane gas that comes out of the ocean floor.
“Some giant craters formed on the sea floor in the west-central area of the Barents sea. It caused a very large gas burst,” explained researchers from the University of the Arctic, Norway in the Sunday Times.
“There is a version that the Bermuda Triangle is a gas hydrate reaction effect. The reaction is formed when all decompose with chunks of methane and turn into ice. All of this happens similar to a nuclear reaction, creating a very large gas. It makes the ocean hot and it could be a ship sinking in waters mixed with gas with a large content,” said Igor.
You could say, if the methane gas theory is the most plausible theory. Previously many theories that explain how ships or planes passing through the Bermuda Triangle can be lost, such as accidents, storms, to the most extreme is the case of alien abduction.
