KASHIMA REIKO SAN

The Curious Spirit of a Woman Named Kashima Reiko San

Kashima Reiko San is a very famous urban legend in Japan, about the ghost of a woman without legs who haunts in the bathroom.

Kashima Reiko San is the ghost of a woman who lives in the Japanese city of Hokkaido. It is said that one night, this woman was attacked by a group of unknown people on the street. They tortured him until he was dying and then they left him alone on the highway.

He tried to ask for help but no one heard him. When he was still conscious, without giving up he began to crawl and pass to a train track, but suddenly his body was helpless and he was immediately unconscious on the train tracks. When he fainted, a train came speeding very fast and the woman was immediately crushed by the train. He was also killed on the spot. This train grinds his body into two parts and is cut off at the waist.

If he asks you, "Where are my legs?". The answer is, "Your feet are on a train track in Meishin!". After that he would ask again, "Who told you that my foot was there?". You have to answer, "Kashima Reiko San has told me where your feet are!".

Sometimes he will ask you a trick question, like, "Do you know what my name is?". And you DO NOT say, "Kashima!", because if you say his name, he will kill you right then and there. The right answer to answer this question is, "The Mask of the Death Devil". Because the abbreviations of the name Ka-Shi-Ma are Ka \= Kamen (Mask), Shi \= Shini (one who is dead), and Ma \= Ma (Devil/Satan).

That said, according to Japanese rituals, after you hear the story of Kashima Reiko San, it will appear to you within the next month.
