LUCKY PAPER

I'm Feysha. This incident I experienced when I moved to aunty house in Jatinangor area. I just started college in the state. I come from Cigadung area. Because of the distance from campus, I finally settled in my aunt's house.

Aunty lives with her husband and a toddler son. Actually the house is not their home, they live there for a while, while saving to build a house. The house is a relic of the grandfather of her husband's parents. So I'm not surprised to see some old furniture when I just moved there.

The first day there when it was late afternoon, I immediately tidied up the things I brought. My room is on the 2nd floor, and it's complete with chairs and study tables. While rearranging my belongings, I found something odd while cleaning the back of the closet. Behind that wardrobe I found a piece of old paper. The paper was yellowish-gray and taped to the wall with tape on all four corners. It seemed like the paper had been around for a long time, as it looked full of dust. I tried to look at it more closely, on the paper it looks written in Arabic letters. Seeing that, the first time I thought that the writing on the paper was a piece of the Quran, so I ignored it. At that time I was just focused on cleaning my room, until nightfall.

I called my aunt to come downstairs because dinner was ready. I was distracted by aunty's question about the new student ospek activities at my college, so I forgot to ask about the paper I found earlier. After dinner, I immediately went to bed because tomorrow morning I have to join ospek again on campus. Shortly after touching the bed, I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up, and immediately prepared to go to college. Ospek activities lasted until the afternoon, I went home at 6 pm and went straight to my room. Because of the ospek activities all day, my body was very tired, so it immediately lay and fell asleep without changing clothes and bathing first. But suddenly I woke up, my head was so dizzy, the whole room was spinning. I can't move my limbs, I have a fever. I decided to break my body again. Suddenly my feelings became uneasy, I kept staring at the wall beside my bed. It was like a magnet was pulling my eyes there, but there was nothing in front of me. Because I was so tired I went back to sleep, but after a while the dizziness in my head was getting worse. I woke up again, now beside my bed I faintly saw a woman standing, dizzy and still sleepy, I originally thought it was my tant, but it was not. The woman was wearing a dark brown kebaya, her hair was twitching and she was staring blankly at me. Suddenly he raised his right hand and pointed towards the closet, then he disappeared slowly like being swallowed by air. I opened my eyes, and my whole body was full of sweat. The dizziness was still in my head. I was confused by what I was going through, until I finally concluded what I saw was just a dream.

My aunt and uncle then went into her room to sleep, as did I. I went back to bed, but did not fall asleep. I was very curious about the paper behind the cupboard, and suddenly it sounded like the sound of crying. The voice was very slow but it sounded very sad. At first I thought it was the cry of my toddler cousin, but after I listened carefully, it was the cry of an adult woman.

I got up from the bed and looked around for the origin of the crying. The sound became clearer as I walked closer to the closet. I was silent, confused and scared. According to my experience when I read horror stories, if there is a crying sound from the closet, then the one inside is definitely not human. I was really sculpting, but in the end the fear lost to my curiosity. I walked up to the closet door and put both my hands together trying to open both closet doors while slightly turning my face away. Inside were only my clothes, I breathed a sigh of relief, and closed them again. Suddenly from the reflection of the mirror on the closet door, I saw the figure of the woman who had just. The woman was right behind me, her eyes were red, her hair was now down, and there was a black hole in her stomach. I looked back, he was still there. I ran straight out of the room. I knocked on my aunt's room door crying for help. Aunty and uncle came out in a panic, they checked my room but found nothing. I was reluctant to go back to sleep in my room, I ended up sleeping on the living room couch.

Tomorrow I will not come to campus on the second ospek day. My head still feels dizzy. I kept thinking what was going on with the paper. After I thought, maybe the paper was a seal that if someone pulled it out, something bad would happen. But that's just in my view. If one day I find the answer, I'll re-share the story of the Philosopher's Paper.
