LEGEND OF THE BEAUTIFUL GHOST OF SADIKEM
It is no stranger if you have ever passed the Magetan highway, Madiun. On Jiwan Bridge, the bridge located on the Madiun-Magetan border is no less popular with the story of the Beautiful Sadikem from Jiwan Bridge.
Reportedly, Sadikem died of curiosity so that his spirit swayed. There are also those who say because the offerings that are carried in the Sungai Bakung are less. Some say Sadikem was raped and thrown into a river. So no wonder Sadikem often terrorizes people who pass around the bridge.
At the beginning and end of the bridge is decorated with a pair of high seating. Residents around call it buk ireng (high seat made of brick). In the buk ireng that the ghost of Sadikem often appears and is a beautiful woman.
Often Sadikem sat waving his hands at the driver of the vehicle passing by. In fact, often also come to the homes of the surrounding residents and greet people who happen to pass by.
This story is getting more legendary. Originally, Sadikem was a beautiful woman who came from Malang Village, Maospati. Then the village flower married the man of his dreams. However, not even a week of marriage, Sadikem went to the river Bakung to wash his clothes. In Javanese tradition, newlyweds are forbidden to leave the house before it is even (7 days). Because Sadikem broke the tradition of sepasar, finally the bride lost swallowed by the river Bakung. The surrounding community called Sadikem got Sawan Kemanten Anyar.
Many residents are reluctant and afraid to comment about this beautiful ghost phenomenon. Sadikem's form of terror itself varies. Sometimes towards night like strange sounds around the village. There are also some residents who claim to have been visited by Sadikem's ghost.
Sadikem ghost terror is not only on Jiwan bridge and around the Bakung River alone. The beautiful ghost of Sadikem often appears also in other places and move around. Sometimes at the entrance buk, Blancang Village, Kincang, and Suratmajan.
In 2012, there were consecutive accidents on the PG line. Purwodadie - Simo's. It is also associated by the surrounding community with the ghost of Sadikem. Such is the story of the beautiful Ghost Sadikem which is quite legendary in Magetan City.
