I frowned, then inched to sit while holding the blanket over my chest. "Why, Mas? You're not willing? Wh why? Because Aulian's son Salsya? Hmm?" still with a flat tone, but my eyes started to glaze over.

"Darling...." He sits down.

"My father is even worse."

"Sa-"

"Twenty-two years."

"Don't-"

My chest rumbles. Reza's refusal got my emotions hooked. "You're asking me to fix my relationship with my father. But now? You're weird!" I turned my face away from her gaze. "I'm just gonna help Nicholas get Aulian's custody. Whether you agree or not."

"Don't do anything bad!" singitny.
