Jane walked into the restaurant and went straight to the table number ten, the table her father had ordered. It seemed that he had come earlier than the man he was about to meet, because the table before him still looked empty. Jane took a slow breath and sat herself there. A waiter walked up to Jane shortly after she sat down. After saying that he was waiting for someone, the servant nodded in understanding and left. Jane looked around for a moment, then she reached into her handbag and pulled out her phone. As he was busying himself with the cell phone in his hand, he suddenly heard his name being called.

"Jane Chandra?"

A man's voice interrupts him. Jane looked up and saw a tall young man standing next to her desk.

"Include me, my name is Felix Setiawan" said the man with a flat facial expression as he extended his hand to shake his hand.

"Ah, yes," Jane stood up and immediately welcomed the man's hand. "Greetings, Felix."

Now Jane can clearly see the look of this man in front of her. He wore a plain white buttoned t-shirt combined with a light brown blazer, with matching material trousers with his shirt wrapped in his tie-in legs. A pair of shiny black shoes was attached to his feet.

Dashing and handsome, that was the first impression Jane got from him. Just like the other young men he had met before. It was just that the young man who appeared this time looked even younger and very tall. Jane had to look up to see his face. What height? It must be a hundred and eighty centimeters. Oh, and don't forget the very subtle sound.

This guy named Felix immediately called the waiter as soon as they sat down. After ordering, Felix started asking.

"How old are you?"

"Twenty-five years," Jane replied briefly, somewhat awkwardly.

"Our age is not too far away, I am twenty-six years old," Felix replied still with a flat expression on his face.

Jane nodded slowly. Somewhat hesitant to ask if he should call Felix 'brother'. But it seemed like the call was a little embarrassing considering those who had just gotten to know each other.

"Whatever you want to call me. There is no need to be too formal because our age difference is also only one year," said Felix as if he could read Jane's mind. Jane smiled awkwardly in response. He was confused, not because Felix could read his mind, but was not this man too cold?

Their conversation stopped there. Plus when their food came, none of them opened their voices. Jane doesn't like this kind of situation. He was dating, couldn't the man in front of him talk? Like just asking for work, hobbies, life motto or maybe the ideal type. But it doesn't seem to matter. Come on, they also both know this meeting aims at one, namely marriage.

"Uhm... Felix," finally Jane ventured to open her voice. The young man's eyes turned from his plate now staring at Jane.

"Before, there was something you should know" Jane said as she put down her spoon and fork. Felix remained silent, he chose to wait for Jane to continue her sentence while playing the spoon in her hand.

"I already have one child."

Felix's hand stopped and he stared at Jane unblinkingly.

Yup, Jane predicted this. It was certain that this man before him was unwilling to accept himself. Jane smiled smirkingly. He lifted up his spoon and fork and put food in his mouth when Felix finally made a sound.

"How old is he?" Ask Felix.

"Hm?" Jane looked at Felix with slightly widened eyes. He didn't expect Felix to ask about his son's age. Usually the young men he met would ask if he had been married before. Jane replied somewhat. "O-oh, three months. Yeah, u-it's only been three months."

Jane smiled faintly in response.

"All right then."

Jane looked back at Felix with a frown. "All right? What's?"

Felix put down the spoon and leaned his back on the back of the chair. "Well, I'll marry you."

Jane almost choked. It turns out that it is true that our parents say that we should not eat while talking. Jane almost spouted the piece of steak she was chewing on Felix's face.

Did he not hear wrong? What did he say just now? She wants to marry Jane?

When all the men rejected him outright after knowing he already had one child, yes even if only an adopted child and Jane hid that fact from them, but Felix even wanted to marry him? Jane coughed softly and immediately drank the water in front of her.

"So when will we meet again? How about we eat somewhere else tomorrow, and I'll be at your house for the weekend? I want to see your son" Felix casually said as he again cut the steak on the plate and put it in his mouth.

"What did you say just now?" Jane's brain still doesn't seem to be able to digest all of Felix's words well.

"I told you how about tomorrow we go again? And I want to see your son too, so what if I go to your house on the weekend? Meet your parents too. Only then do we talk about the date of the wedding," Felix replied still sounding relaxed.

Jane is speechless. He was finally only able to cleared his throat slowly nodding clumsily. His brain was still trying to digest what had just happened. This guy agreed to marry her? Is she really getting married?

Jane stared at the steak that was half on her plate. Her appetite has gone somewhere. He was just stabbing a steak on his plate and constantly glancing at Felix who still looked calm and ordinary.

...***...

"Mama!"

Jane immediately rushed to hug the middle-aged woman who had just walked into the living room. Emma William Chandra, Mama Jane.

"My daughter, Jane," Mama hugged Jane back.

"I miss Mama" Jane said spoiled.

"Mama too, dear."

"Mama why are you back now? Suppose Mama comes back before Papa decides on my matchmaking and marriage," Jane lamented as soon as she took off her arms.

"There's a lot to take care of at the branch office in Japan, dear." Mama stroked the princess's brown hair just like that. "Darling, Mama often succeeds in making your father change his mind. But this time I agree with Papa. There is a mother who wants her daughter to be single for life. After all, Mama is sure the man your father chose must be the best and worthy of you. You also agreed to marry her, right?"

Jane remained silent. Yes, it was true that he finally accepted this marriage. But of course because of circumstances that made it impossible to resist anymore. He did not want the adopted baby to be returned to the orphanage.

"By the way, Mama can't wait to meet with Mama's granddaughter" said Mama and then embrace Jane to the baby's room upstairs.
