Chapter 36's

Felix propels his black BMW at high speed. After finding Jane lying on the floor in Aiden's room while holding her stomach, Felix immediately carried her to the car and took Jane to the hospital.

Felix's attention was split in two between focusing on his steering wheel and on Jane who kept complaining her head was dizzy along the way.

“Hold a little, Jane. Soon we will reach the hospital,” said Felix, trying to sound not panicked.

“Ugh, I'm nauseous.”.

Felix's reflex placed one of his hands on the girl's forehead, checking that Jane had a fever. But Jane's body temperature feels normal.

For a moment Felix could breathe a sigh of relief. He then took a swipe at his phone, pressed the dial button on one of the contacts and wore airpods next to his ear. While waiting for his call to be connected, Felix began to think. Not that he wanted to start analyzing, but with all the characteristics that Jane has shown lately, such as suddenly wanting to eat something, the mood is up and down, and now he is dizzy and nauseous. What don't-don't....

‘She's pregnant?’ inner Felix. Quickly Felix threw out that thought. It's better now that he's focused on getting to the hospital, and so the doctor can examine Jane and tell her more accurate results.

“Halo, sis?”

Felix's daydreams ran out as soon as he heard the revelations from his airpods.

“Hello, Steven. Can I ask you a favor? Please take care of Aiden for a moment, I'm taking Jane to the hospital.” Said Felix quickly.

“Hospital? Sister Jane why?” Steven got off the bed and walked towards the door of his room.

“I don't know either, Stev. All of a sudden he complained of his head ache and his stomach was nauseous. I'll let you know later, please take care of Aiden yes.”

Felix immediately disconnected the phone without waiting for a response from Steven. Steven looked at his phone in confusion. A few seconds later, he puts his shoulder and puts his phone in his pants pocket. He came out of the room and immediately spun a step towards the door of his apartment.

Out of his apartment, Steven only needs to walk a few steps to the door of another apartment that is right next to him. He easily pressed the password and immediately entered without hesitation like his own home. As he passed towards the stairs, Steven looked at the wedding photo attached to the wall, featuring a beautiful girl in a white dress with a handsome man wearing a black tuxedo.

Going up to the second floor, Steven immediately found two room doors facing each other. Without hesitation he turned the doorknob on his right, then entered and approached the baby box in the corner of the room.

“Hai, Aiden,” greet Steven as he looks into the baby box, looks at Aiden who is still awake and winks his round eyes. In the next instant, the baby boy laughed welcoming Steven's large pair of hands that raised him.

Yup, the apartment entered by Steven is the apartment owned by Felix and Jane. For the past three months, Steven's been living right next door to their apartment. Steven takes Aiden down the stairs and out of Felix and Jane's apartment, taking Aiden to his own apartment.

Once inside, a view of the star figures hanging from the ceiling of the living room welcomed Aiden. Steven immediately put Aiden in the baby box near his brown sofa. He then turned on the bobble toy that was on top of Aiden's body so that the baby was calm. He then walked to the pantry and made a bottle of milk for Aiden.

After finishing, Steven turned off the bobble toy and carried Aiden out of the baby box. He sat himself on the couch and grabbed a TV remote to turn his television channel into a children's-only broadcast. Steven then drank the milk he made on Aiden who was in his carrier.

“Aiden, tonight you are with brother, yes. Your mom and dad may be busy taking care of your new baby sister.” Steven said quietly with a smile.

After arriving at the hospital, Jane was immediately treated by a doctor while Felix had to wait outside the room. Shortly after, a nurse came out and told Felix that Jane's symptoms were allergy symptoms. Jane's condition is not serious but she still has to be treated.

Just sober Felix heaved a sigh of relief and immediately sat down because his legs had been limp back and forth because of anxiety since earlier.

“You're okay, Mister?” ask the nurse with a worried face.

Felix flicked his hand in front of his face and tried to smile. “It's okay, I'm fine.”

“T-but...your face is flushed.”.

“Hah?” Felix looked at the nurse confused. He then looked down and looked at his hands. At that time Felix only realized that reddish patches had also appeared there, too, what he believed had also spread to his neck and face because the nurse in front of him continued to look at him anxiously.

Eventually Felix also had to be treated for crab allergies he had.

Felix opened his eyes slowly, and the first sight he saw was a clean white hospital ceiling. Felix blinked his eyes several times, trying to adjust the light that entered his eyes. After a while, he turned his head to the right and found Jane sitting next to him. Concern emanated clearly from the pair of big eyes that were staring at Felix fixedly. Jane grimaced at the reddish patches that still filled Felix's face.

“Felix, are you okay?” jane said as she touched Felix's hot cheek.

Instead of answering, Felix tried to get up and straighten up. He held Jane's hand on his cheek and said, “You okay, Jane?”

“Why ask back?” Jane let go of her hand in annoyance. He felt annoyed that Felix was foolishly worried about him instead of his own body.

Felix realized that he was also wearing the same patient clothes as Jane when the girl suddenly stood up and turned her body to leave. Felix quickly grabbed Jane's hand, a little strong until she fell on the bed right by her side.

He thought Jane would fight back and get back up to leave, but what followed was a pair of thin arms of Jane moving around her neck, hugging her. Felix also returned Jane's embrace tightly.

“I'm sorry. Because of me you so go along to eat crabs when you have allergies,” weaned Jane in her ear and began sobbing.

Felix rubbed Jane's hair slowly. “No, Jane. The nurse told me you were sick with allergies. I'm sorry for including the ingredients that you're allergic to. But what are you allergic to? You're not allergic to crabs, are you?”

“Ayam?” felix was confused. “But, not before we have also eaten chicken together?”

“Hmm, actually not an allergy anyway. But sometimes I like this when I eat chicken. I don't know why either.” Answer Jane.

“Gosh,” Felix started squeezing his black hair.

“Why?” now replace Jane who looked at Felix confused.

The young man grimaced softly. “I put chicken in her soup.”

“Hah? Who puts chicken in crab soup?” jane's response while frowning.

“There is, to make it more fragrant and more delicious. After all you didn't realize there was chicken in the soup?” ask Felix.

“No. That's because... I'm still mad at you so I don't pay much attention to what's in my food,” so Jane with pouty lips.

Felix squinted his eyes. “Basic sloppy.”

Jane was just about to reply to Felix but her husband pulled her tiny body and drowned her in the chest of his field.

“So I was so scared that something happened to you,” Felix whispered in Jane's ear.

The girl began to return her embrace. “I'm sorry,” and Jane started sobbing again.

Felix took off his arms and looked at Jane's pretty face with her eyes. His hand wiped away the tear on his cheek before bringing Jane back into his arms.

Felix was grateful and relieved, they finally made up. And Felix unconsciously laughed.

“Why are you laughing?” jane asked confusedly.

“Actually... while on the way here earlier, I had thought that you were pregnant,” Felix replied still laughing.

“Hah? M-where might I be pregnant..”.

Felix frowned. “What's really why? You don't want to have children?”

“A-child?” Jane looked at Felix straight.

Felix nodded. “Iya. Your son and I. Our own son.”

Hearing Felix's words just now, Jane became pensive. ‘Our own child.. That means I have Felix's child in my own womb, Jane's inner’.

Seeing Jane who was just speechless, Felix thought that he had spoken wrongly and hurriedly corrected her. “M-sorry, not that I don't like the presence of Aiden, but–”

“I understand,” Jane looked down and twisted the end of the hospital shirt she was wearing. “I also want to conceive my own child,” continued Jane in a very small voice.

“Hm? You said what?” ask Felix.

Jane feels her face is as red as a boiled crab today.

“I said I also want–” Jane raised her face while talking but her speech was not finished because Felix had already silenced Jane with one kiss.

“Then, why did you say it was impossible?” ask Felix then.

And now it's Jane's turn to laugh. “Yes, that's because we just started doing it this past week, young master Felix. So how could I get pregnant that fast.”

Felix ripped up the answer from Jane, only to understand that his wife could not immediately get pregnant now once they did it yesterday. Jane could not bear to not pinch Felix's cheeks because the plain expression on her husband's face was very funny.

Then Jane moved up from the bed, about to return to her own bed located next to Felix.

“Uhm, Jane,” call Felix. “It looks like now I know another reason behind all the symptoms you showed.”

“Hah? What does mean–”

Jane who turned her head because she was called was surprised to find reddish patches on Felix's bed sheets. He hurriedly checked the back of his body. The next second the girl immediately ran away to the bathroom while nagging indistinctly, leaving Felix laughing at her behavior.
