Chapter 25's

After handing over Aiden who had been dressed as handsomely as possible, and of course hearing the scolding from Papa as well, Felix and Jane heaved a sigh of relief. They looked at each other at the door and then laughed. Both of them were satisfied with the cooperation they did when the urgent situation was like just now.

Felix moved to embrace his wife's petite body and smiled warmly. Highlight his eyes like saying ‘this is how husband and wife, must help each other and also complete’. Jane smiled back and wrapped her arms around Felix's waist. Felix rattled Jane's hair slowly and dyed Jane's head briefly.

“Aiden's been taken by Papa, so we don't have to go to your parents' house anymore. Now what are we going to do?” ask Felix and take Jane into the living room.

Jane pursed her lips and thought for a moment. Today is a weekend, and both Jane and Felix are both off from their jobs. Five days a week they spend working. Almost half a day or even until late at night often Jane spent in the office. While returning home, Jane usually spends time eating dinner with Felix and playing with Aiden when Felix goes to the cafe. Even at night, they will sleep immediately because of fatigue. Come to think of it, he rarely spent time at home, and also spent quality time with Felix.

“Uhm, how about we just stay home today?” jane asked, looking at Felix.

“At home only?” felix asked, looking back at Jane.

Jane was enthusiastic. “Iya. There is so much we can do at home. We can cook, clean the house, and watch movies together. Besides I also usually rarely be at home,” explained Jane while struggling spoiled.

Felix smiled at Jane's behavior. “Well if that's what you want.”

So they decided to spend their weekend at home. The two went up to the room to take turns cleaning themselves, because they finally decided to go down together to open the door for Papa, and listen to Papa's nagging while bathing and dressing Aiden. After cleaning themselves, they cook and have breakfast, or rather lunch, together. After relaxing for a moment, they decided to do homework, because they also happened to have not cleaned the house in a big way.

It starts with Jane washing the dishes, while Felix dries and puts them in the closet. Dropping with the kitchen, Jane climbs upstairs to wash Aiden's clothes by hand, while Felix washes the sheets and blankets on foot. Together they hung it on the balcony. Felix takes over a higher sunbathing spot that Jane can't afford. Then Felix cleaned the house with a vacuum cleaner while Jane tidied the items on the shelf and wiped the table.

At every turn, Felix always steals the opportunity to annoy Jane or act spoiled to her, such as hugging her from behind and leaning her head on Jane's shoulders while the girl is doing the dishes, pretending to be falling over and hugging Jane while washing the sheets in the tub, accidentally holding Jane's hand as the girl would attach the clothes to the clothesline, she said, and the last Felix suddenly kissed Jane's cheek as the girl was focusing on arranging books on a wooden shelf. The latter jolted Jane for a moment and turned his head in annoyance at Felix who was again busy with a vacuum in his hand, as if nothing had happened.

Jane is upset not because her job is affected by Felix's behavior, but she is upset because she can not hide the red hue that pokes on her cheek every time Felix nicks her, while Felix looks mediocre. But in her heart, Jane was happy because she had never seen Felix this pampered and prosperous before. Though a few months ago they were even awkward with each other when their hands accidentally touched. In just a few months, Felix can transform into a different person, into a warm, romantic, and caring husband. Today Jane successfully feels like a newlywed couple who have not had a baby.

The clock was showing at four in the afternoon when Felix and Jane finished their homework. Felix threw his body onto the sofa followed by Jane who also sat down while landing his head on Felix's shoulder. Fatigue lines were clearly visible on their faces, with sweat pouring from the temples to the chin.

But the tiredness evaporated as their eyes rolled, staring around the room that looked neat and clean, very beautiful to the eye. After today maybe Felix and Jane will schedule cleaning activities once a month. After all, home is where they go home after a day of activities outside. Doesn't seeing a neat scene also treat their fatigue when returning home?

“If we have a yard, maybe what we will do next is take care of the plants and mow the weeds. I'll plant roses in a pot while you water the plants using a water hose, ” oceh Jane quietly, imagining if only they didn't live in the apartment, but in an ordinary house with a large yard covered with grass and various ornamental plants, such as the residence of his parents. “Then I can do yoga in the park on weekends. Ah, it's been a long time since I've been yoga,” Jane stretched her hands until the sound of bones grinding softly.

Hearing the rant and seeing Jane's behavior just made an idea cross Felix's mind. “Jane,” Felix said later.

“Hm?” sahut the owner of the name while lowering his hand and turned to Felix.

“How about tomorrow morning we jog in the park below?” ask Felix.

"We?” ask Jane.

Exercising with Felix? Jane never imagined she would do that with Felix. Yes, there are still many things that he has not and never imagined would do with Felix. Although they are a couple, Jane and Felix are like two people who are in the process of approaching. Little by little they drew closer the distance that had originally stretched between them. Doing one by one the usual activities they do themselves together. Trying to create a sense of comfort for each other.

“No, why should I object? It must be fun to exercise together. I also have not been exercising for a long time, let's jog together tomorrow!” jane said excitedly. Felix smiled faintly at Jane's enthusiasm. Then his arm that was originally perched on the back of the sofa moved to hug Jane, bringing his wife's tiny body closer, making Jane immediately look up.

Felix was just about to bring her face closer to Jane when the girl's five thin fingers held her back. At once Felix's face frowned comically, between shock and bewilderment. Seeing the young man's expression, Jane chuckled and tried to escape from Felix's embrace. He rewinded his body while exclaiming, “Mandi there, you sweat!”

“A-What?” felix's eyes were round, making Jane who was now hugging the pillow giggled amused because the expression of Felix's face looks more funny. Realizing that Jane had just been working on her, perhaps in revenge for the young man bothering her all day, Felix moved forward, about to attack Jane. “So you mean I stink?”

Deliberately Felix brought his body closer to Jane because he did not accept the smell. He tightly gripped Jane's hands, pushing her backwards. “Try saying once more. Try to say that I smell,” Felix said as he began to tickle Jane's waist.

Jane laughed in rebellion. “No... hahaha.. I did not say you stink... hahaha..”.

Instead of stopping, Felix even more aggressively tickled Jane's waist. Until finally the girl was no longer strong to fight and her breath began to sting. Jane held Felix's hands together, hinting the young man to stop. Hearing Jane's gasping breath and her chest up and down, Felix no longer tickled his wife's waist, either, making the two now pegged in the position of Felix was on the body of Jane who fell asleep on the sofa.

After Jane's breath was in order, she realized that Felix was staring at her intensely, and a red tinge was poking out on both of Jane's cheeks for the umpteenth time today. And now, as Felix looks at her intentions in silence, Jane feels that her world is centered on a single point, Felix.

“Jane...” Felix's soft voice breaks the silence, allowing Jane to reach back for oxygen after unconsciously holding her breath as Felix looks at her in such a way.

“... today we are alone at home.” Felix.

Now the turn of his heart beating abnormally after the sentence just digested by his brain. Jane was still unable to make a sound as Felix lowered his body further, placing his lips right in Jane's ears, making the girl feel as if she was electrocuted when Felix's thick lips touched the edges of her earlobes.

“How about today we...,” Felix hangs his sentence. Leaving Jane busy controlling her heartbeat that could not compromise at all. His blood rippled feeling Felix's breath at his nape. Jane did not know if she could still wait for the young man to continue his sentence.

Jane closed her eyes, ‘Ready or not, I have to be ready. After all this is not the first time,’ Jane said inwardly while steadying her heart.

“.... watch movies.” Felix finished the sentence.

‘Iya, I'm ready to watch the movie – eh?!’ Jane opened her eyes. His gaze caught a small grin that was mapped on Felix's lips.

“I want to shower first ah,” that second also the tall young man got up and stepped towards the stairs, leaving Jane who was still silent in her place full of question marks.

So Felix just rubbed it? So Felix didn't really intend to.....

Jane immediately covered her face and screamed in embarrassment.
