On the other side of the cafe, sat a beautiful girl with a handsome young man. The girl was sipping her warm tea gracefully while the young man looked calm with a map in his right hand and a cup of coffee in his left.

Every now and then the beautiful girl glanced at the face in the young man who looked very serious reading the barrage of words printed on the paper he was holding. And the girl almost choked when suddenly the young man suddenly looked up and their gazes met. The young man smiled kindly, revealing his neat teeth.

“I think this proposal is good, Seena. Monday I'll hand it over to the president.”

The beautiful girl named Seena nodded her head and smiled clumsily.

“Good, thank you very much, Daniel.”

Daniel's smile grew, increasing his good looks and driving away the awkwardness that Seena had originally felt. It was not the first time Seena had met this handsome young man. They had met several times in cooperation with the company where Seena worked with Allure Corporation, where Daniel worked. But only this time Seena met this young man outside of work hours, and on weekends anyway, yes even though what they were talking about was still a matter of work.

“I as a representative of Allure Corporation apologized because our president could not come at this meeting, and some of the previous meetings as well. Our president just got married, so he's still busy with his personal affairs. I hope you don't mind if I represent,” Daniel said with a smile.

Seena looked straight at Daniel. He had to admit, besides being handsome the young man before him was very polite and also friendly. “No problem. Our vice-president who holds this project is also unable to attend, so I am the one who replaced him here today. Just like the president of your company, our vice president was also recently married. I hope you also don't mind having to negotiate with his assistant.”

“Of course, no problem. Glad to be working with you,” Daniel ended their meeting this morning with a handshake.

“Me too,” Seena smiled and welcomed Daniel's helping hand. They stood up then bowed their heads respectfully to each other. Seena took her handbag and was just about to turn around when Daniel made his voice again.

“Sorry, Seena.”

“Iya?” Seena immediately turned her head with a questioning expression.

Daniel moistened his lips before saying, “If you may know, after this you will go where?”

“Go home. After this I have no other show. What's up, Daniel?” ask Seena.

“It's okay. It's just, uhm... How about I take you home? I feel bad for taking your weekend off for work.” Answer Daniel.

Seena fell silent and looked at Daniel Lamat. The girl seemed to be thinking because this question had nothing to do with work issues.

“After that I also have no other events after this. Do you mind?” daniel continued, trying to convince.

“Alright,” replied Seena finally. There seems to be nothing wrong with accepting Daniel's offer. After all, his requests were still at reasonable limits and they were actually of the same age as well. There's nothing wrong with making friends, right?

Daniel again showed off his charming smile and politely allowed Seena to walk first. Although they were the same age, Daniel still kept his distance by walking a step behind Seena so that the girl felt comfortable. They are partners who will work together. Daniel should treat it as best he can.

“Daniel!”

The two halted when they heard someone calling for Daniel's name. Daniel turned to the source of the voice and found a tall, familiar young man walking towards him.

Yeah, that young man is none other than Felix, who just met Helen and Kaylee at the same cafe. Quickly Daniel turned around and looked at Seena, his expression looking a little panicked.

“Seena, I'm sorry. I can't seem to drive you today. Maybe next time, it's okay?” daniel asked as he looked at Seena with a guilty expression mixed in panic.

Seena smiled kindly at Daniel and nodded. “It's okay. Then I'll go first. Excuse me.”

After Seena died, Felix had reached where Daniel stood. Daniel tilted his head, looking at Helen and Kaylee who were walking not far behind Felix. Daniel bowed his head respectfully to Helen, then waved his hand slowly towards Kaylee.

“Sister Helen, how is sister?” greet Daniel kindly with a smile.

Helen smiled back. “Good. You how are you?”

Daniel and Felix have been friends for a long time, so Daniel is also familiar with Felix's brother and sister.

“My news is good too. When did you get to Jakarta?” ask Daniel again.

“Me and Kaylee just got here last night, and we just finished breakfast here. What are you doing here?” ask Helen.

“I just met someone,” replied Daniel still with a smile.

Felix's gaze rolled, catching the figure of Seena walking towards the exit.

“You met the girl? Who is he?” felix asked as he turned his gaze to Daniel.

“Working partner,” Daniel replied quickly.

Felix nodded his head in understanding. A moment of silence whistled until Helen turned to her sister who had not yet spoken.

“Kaylee, why are you quiet? You don't miss your ex-boyfriend?” helen said as she elbowed Kaylee's arm, making Kaylee snort annoyed.

“H-hah? Where is... uhm... how is Daniel?” kaylee asked finally after being given a quick-why-she-or-you-would-regret by Helen.

Daniel smiled again. “Good news. How was your study in New Zealand?”

Kaylee averted her gaze, afraid that her heart was weak with this youth-friendly attitude. “Good. My thesis is done.”

Daniel shook his head. “No. Why?”

“You can take me home right?” felix asked, then he turned around and pushed Helen and Kaylee gently towards the exit. “You can chat with Daniel again later, now you better go back to hotel.”

Helen turned to Daniel and waved her hand. “See you again, Daniel.”

Daniel replied to her with a friendly smile while nodding his head. After Helen and Kaylee disappeared behind the exit, instead of leaving the cafe and returning to the apartment, Felix and Daniel decided to sit back and order a drink. There are a few things Felix wants to talk about with this young man.

“So the president of Allure Corporation also just got married yes,” Jane said as she tapped her pen on the map.

Seena had just informed her of the information she had obtained from Daniel yesterday, that the president of Allure Corporation, the company that was about to undergo cooperation with their company, had just gotten married. At least the information treats Jane's curiosity over the absence of the president in each of their meetings the last three months. They are finalizing an important negotiation.

Jane frowned. Now the pen he was holding moved to knock his own head. It's Jane's habit if she's thinking.

“Seena, should we send her a wedding gift?” ask Jane.

“It looks better so. We have to establish a good cooperative relationship with them.” replied Seena.

“Good. Seena, please buy something that deserves to be a wedding gift, yes,” Jane's orders while handing over the documents she just signed. “I depend on you.”

“Good,” Seena smiled and bowed respectfully before turning around and walking out of Jane's study. Not until five minutes later, there was a knock on the door and Seena came back in.

“Nona Jane, there's a woman looking for you.”

“Who?” ask Jane. After hearing the features of the man who came looking for her from Seena, Jane immediately went down to the lobby, where the woman was waiting.

“Sister Helen.” Call Jane as soon as she gets to the lobby. The woman who came looking for him was Helen, Felix's older sister.

“Halo, Jane,” Helen got up from the sofa and greeted Jane with a hug.

Although not expecting Felix's older sister to come to his office, Jane was happy Helen welcomed him warmly. Jane had to feel anxious how she had to face Felix's older sister later, considering the last time she met he had not had time to chat with her. Luckily, in addition to Helen's elegant upbringing, she also has a friendly personality so Jane doesn't have to feel awkward.

“How can sister know my office?” jane asked as Helen took off her embrace.

“Felix told me,” lies Helen. How could Felix just tell Jane's office address. Felix forbids Helen from seeing Jane without his knowledge.

But not Helen Setiawan name if it will obey Felix speech just like that. He also took the initiative to find Jane's office address on the internet. Jane also invited Helen to chat at the cafe in the office lobby.

“Sorry yes, I came suddenly. Am I bothering you?” helen said again after they both sat in the cafe.

“Of course not. Brother can come at any time,” Jane replied with a friendly smile. “What kind of drink will I drink? Let me order.”

“No, no need. I won't be long anyway, it's still working hours. I'm sure you must be busy,” replied Helen quickly. “I came to bring you some gifts.” Helen turned on her side, the place where some large paper bag she had placed.

Helen handed out a black paper bag with Jane. “This is my birthday present to Felix. Tomorrow morning I'll be back in Melbourne, so I won't be able to give it to him on his birthday. I leave it to you, Jane.”

Jane got the paper bag. “Alright, I'll give it to Felix on his birthday. But, why did you come back to Melbourne so quickly?”

“There are affairs to take care of there. Maybe next month I'll come back here with my husband. Felix still owes me one dinner,” Helen winks one eye at Jane. Jane smiled and nodded softly at his words. Helen again held out a peach-colored paper bag to Jane.

“And this one's for you. My wedding gift. I'm sorry I couldn't come to your wedding and Felix. My husband was on a business trip back then so we couldn't get to Jakarta on your wedding day. And my sister was also facing her thesis in New Zealand at the time. But take it easy, from now on we will make sure to take the time to visit you guys,” explained Helen.

A sense of relief began to infiltrate Jane's heart. He finally found out why Felix's family didn't come to their wedding. Although their wedding seemed sudden and held simply, but still the wedding is a sacred event that must be attended by each family.

Helen grabbed Jane's hand and held it gently. “I want to thank you, Jane. Thank you for being Felix's life partner. My brother can be a little cold and not attentive sometimes. He was unlike any other man who could show his feelings clearly. Therefore, I hope you will understand Felix and always be by his side.”

Jane replied to Helen with a sincere smile. Now he knows where Felix's warm attitude comes from. “Iya, I understand brother. We've been married for almost four months, when we first met Felix was a little cold, but after marriage Felix always helped me a lot. He takes good care of Aiden like a father. Felix also covered my shortcomings in homework. Although it looks cold, I know that Felix is a nice and warm person.”

Jane was suddenly confused. Only this time he could express his feelings freely, even though this was the first time he had a conversation with Helen. During this time there were not many friends that Jane could make a place to tell stories, in the office was only Seena who she could chat freely.

“Getting Felix as my husband is more than enough. I never expected anything from him.” Jane continued, still with her genuine smile.

Smile like a mother in her daughter-in-law was caught in Helen's face. In his heart he believes that his sister did not choose Jane wrongly to be his wife. Both from Felix and Jane, Helen can see the love that radiates in their eyes. Once again Helen took Jane into her arms.

“But, sis. May I ask you something?” jane asked as Helen took off her arms.

“Sure, Jane. You can ask anything.”

“How about Felix's parents?” ask Jane carefully.

Helen smiled knot. “The three of us are orphans, Jane.”
