Loving Paralyzed Men

Loving Paralyzed Men
The better

Dimas stared at Akira's back after he walked out and disappeared after the door closed. Dimas was inexhaustible with Akira's attitude.

'What the fuck is that woman? Friends...'

Dimas thought through all of Akira's words. He was very happy because he could feel the warmth of Akira's body again, could feel Akira's heartbeat again. However, everything disappears when Akira says he just wants to be friends.

Dimas thought that Akira had been by his side because of money. Because Akira needs a lot of money for his business. But Akira's words make him understand that Akira can't live without him. It's just that now they're just going to be friends.

'If I had understood his desire to be a fashion designer, we might not have parted ways. If I change then we will.....'

"No, I don't want to go back to him." cried Dimas suddenly. "He was the one who left me, so for what I asked him to come back to me. Huh never will."

Dimas closed his eyes for a while, then opened them again staring at the ceiling of the room where he slept.

'About one thing, we never shared a life during marriage. I live in my own world, and will come to her when I need her in bed.

"But his actions left me untrue. Why doesn't he just talk to me about it? Not even leaving me." Curse Dimas with annoyance.

Dimas closed his eyes again and turned his attention to focusing on his work. His business will likely be the only thing he has in the future. So Dimas thought he had to get stronger and think optimistically to get well, to get back to work.

Dimas thought about Akira.

'Honestly, I can't wait to see him again. I'm sure he'll come back to see me. But, what if not?'

Akira was sitting in his study, holding a pencil and trying to draw a sketch. But his mind was always on Dimas.

Akira hates to think about when he unwittingly lies down with Dimas, let alone kiss.

'This is all her fault, why should she bring up the past.' Akira thought.

Akira thinks Dimas wants to sleep with her just to see if she has impotence.

'There was no way Dimas would suddenly want to make love to me, even though we had been separated for three years. That's all he did, because I'm the only woman currently accompanying him.'

"But, everything is not entirely wrong Dimas. I let myself be in that situation." Akira was seen squeezing his hair.

"Well, I'm stupid." Shouted Akira.

The next morning, Akira busies himself by being in his boutique. Oma Lydia came with him.

"How was your meeting yesterday?" Ask Oma Lydia.

"I think everything went well. I've done everything I can, but, uh,..." Akira's words paused, "i'm not sure they'll help us." Further.

"Dear, don't think too much. Now you better focus on Ms. Lusi's order. We're running out of time, and the order has to be on time."

One month ago, Akira got a uniform party dress order from her customer, Ms. Lusi. The middle-aged woman is Akira's subscription since Akira first opened her boutique.

"Oma's right, Bu Lusi's new uniform order is thirty percent. And we only have a week left. Ah, I'm so dizzy. How's Ranti doing?"

Ranti is a student who works part-time at Akira.

Akira rubbed his face rough.

"If I didn't pity him for needing extra money for college, I wouldn't have hired him for much longer. But, yes, give him up to a week. If his work couldn't be better, then he can't work here anymore." Akira.

"You're right, baby. Good thing there are Ika and Lola who are reliable."

************************

Akira stood at the door of the hospital room and looked at Dimas. All of Dimas' attention was on his hands. Dimas looked at his fingers trying to clench firmly.

When he sees Dimas trying, Akira realizes the change that happened to Dimas. Her face, as pale as it was in the ICU, was gone. Dimas looks stronger, he has risen, although Akira knows that Dimas' hands and arms are still weak. Moreover, his legs were still very paralyzed, completely unable to move.

"Very good Mr. Dimas," said the therapist.

Dimas removed his fist, then rested his head on the pillow. Sweat was seen pouring from his forehead.

"Your left hand is also stronger now, very good sir. We'll practice again later in the afternoon" the therapist said, hanging Dimas's arm on an iron saddle hanging horizontally in front of him. "This tool will help your arms become stronger."

As the young man prepares to get out, Akira comes in and praises Dimas, "greater and more great you are Dimas."

"This is my personal cheerleader" Dimas cheered in a humorous tone.

Dimas looked at the package Akira was carrying, "did you bring me a gift?"

Akira put the parcel beside Dimas, "i have something that will help you a lot in your work."

Akira opens the gift, "Ta-daaa! It's the latest phone that'll make your job easier."

Dimas looked at Akira with a frown.

"This phone has a feature that can receive commands only through voice. You just have to say what you want, call, listen to music or whatever it is. I've saved the numbers of people important to you to call." Akira is obviously at length.

"Does that include a number too?" Ask Dimas.

Akira nodded, "i know from the beginning you don't really like using personal phones. You use the office phone more often, or at home. But now you have to go with the flow of modern times Dim. You also really need this feature considering your current condition. You just have to press this button for a long time." Akira said at length.

With the help of a device that helps his arm hang, with a slightly strange movement Dimas takes the phone from Akira. "I have to give it a try" Dimas said, pressing the phone's old "phone Sam" he said.

Soon the phone was connected to Sam.

"Sam? I just got a present from my wife.I mean from Akira."

Dimas explained about the phone he had just received.

Dimas then began to get busy with a chat about the work with his secretary. He returns to being the same Dimas he used to be, not thinking Akira was nearby. It was as if he had forgotten that Akira was with him.

"Wait a minute Akira, I'll talk to you later after finishing this call." He said to Akira.

Akira sighed, 'still like the old Dimas.' he murmured.
