Loving Paralyzed Men

Loving Paralyzed Men
Immediately Escape

"Are you going to help me again?" Dimas asked after he was done with his phone business with Sam, his secretary.

"As usual, of course. What do you want me to do?" Akira asked back.

"Hmmm can you work part-time with me here. I need someone who can be my backup secretary. People who can type with a laptop, or just send important files to my clients."

Akira smiled wryly.

"Oh Dimas, I'm sorry. If for that, I can't. Because I also have a business to run."

"But this is only part-time. What the hell are you doing in your boutique?" Ask Dimas curiously.

"I work. Designing, sewing, and now I have to finish an order from my customer. Mmmmm. I can help you find the right person to be your secretary."

"Oh, great. So I don't need you here anymore."

"If only I could record your words." Reply Akira with a tight chest.

"Yes, I think I've taken up a lot of your time, haven't I?"

Akira seemed to think, 'yes, it's good that I don't come anymore.'

"There's a lot of work I have to do. My time isn't much, I'm really being chased by targets. Yeah, my business is having a hard time."

"Do you need money? I can give it to you. How much do you need?" Ask Dimas.

"Are you kidding me? You want to give me money? Do you want to donate?" Akira asked back.

"You can say that." Reply Dimas.

"I wonder why you're giving me money now? You refused when I asked for your help to start my business."

Akira's voice sounded very restrained not to get angry, but Dimas could feel that anger.

"Come, if you don't want me to give you for free, then just assume you borrowed it. You can return it anytime, I won't put flowers."

Akira thought that even if it was a loan, he would not accept the money from Dimas. Because after all, if he receives money from Dimas, he will automatically often meet with Dimas again. And Akira didn't want that to happen.

"You're very nice Dimas, but I don't want to ask for your money."

"That's what a friend does. Dan, you didn't ask for it. I'm the one who offered."

"I don't want to depend on you anymore. I like to be independent. But thanks for the offer, friend."

Akira's voice sounded full of emphasis.

"About, do you really think we can just be friends?" Ask Dimas.

Akira's expression looked worried as he answered Dimas's question, "i don't know, but I'll try. I'm sure that's the only relationship that suits us."

***************************

The phone rang, making Akira who was in focus work so lost concentration.

'Damn, who bothers me these nights.' he thought.

[Hello, hi Akira, this is me the guy who just got the latest phone,] said a man on the phone.

Akira took a deep breath, thinking that something bad had happened.

[After you left, I just realized. It turns out that I didn't thank you for the gift you gave me, and it made me more independent.]

[Together Dim.] Reply Akira.

[You usually never support me in terms of work. That's why I was a little surprised when you gave me a cell phone to support my work] Dimas said.

[I do it because it's just a job you care about. Everything has changed now, and I think working is a good therapy for you.]

[Yes, you're right. Work is good therapy for me. Good night, Akira.]

Not yet had Akira to say, the voice of the phone has been turned off Dimas.

'Damn you Dimas.' said Akira in his heart.

**********************

In the past two weeks, Akira has only come to the hospital every afternoon when he comes home from work. He always sat at a safe distance from Dimas. They talk about work, business, and everything else except their feelings.

But sometimes, when feeling down with work, Akira decides to spend time with Dimas. Even if it's just a conversation.

At night, as Akira prepares to leave the hospital, Doctor Jerry arrives.

"I have good news for you, Mr. Dimas. Next week I hope we can finish your treatment. You're ready to get out of here."

Akira took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He was happy to hear the news.

"I thought I wouldn't be able to walk out of here Doctor" said Dimas hesitantly, "where should I go?"

"You have a few choices. Many patients who experience the same paralysis as you choose to go to a rehabilitation center to do muscle strengthening therapy. If you choose it, you will be there for a few months. But some patients choose to stay at home and do therapy every day. It means you have to hire tools and nurses to work at home." Obviously Doctor Jerry.

"I'll think about everything Doc. Right now, I'm already very happy to hear the news about me being able to escape from this place immediately, now I just want to lie down and rest for a while." Reply Dimas.

"alright. I'll give you a recommendation on the places of therapy facilities in the city and you can start thinking about that." Doctor Jerry then came out.

Dimas's eyes showed happiness, "yeeeahhh, thank God," he shouted. "I'll be free soon! I'm going home!"

"We should celebrate Dim." Akira.

Dimas laughed off. A laugh that Akira had never heard for some time.

"I don't think we can dance." His bracelet.

"No, but I have a great idea." Akira walked out of Dimas' room.

Not wanting the same incident to repeat itself, Akira decides to no longer prepare dinner. Akira returned with a laptop and a projector. There was also a picnic basket that Akira brought. Contains pop corn, and fruit juice.

"I thought you wanted to see the outside world because you've been here a long time. Let's just say we're watching a movie." Akira.

Before long the film was screened, both of them focused on watching the film prepared by Akira. However, Akira's thoughts drifted back to the fact that Dimas was leaving the city next week. Akira saw significant changes from Dimas these two weeks.

Akira is happy that Dimas is finally out of the hospital. And as Dimas said he wanted to escape from this place immediately.

'I'm sure he'd rather run away from me. He doesn't need me anymore.'

Unknowingly, the two clasped hands tightly together.

"One more time, happy Dimas. Eventually you will leave this place soon," said Akira trying to hold back his tears, "i'm glad to be celebrating with you."

Dimas smiled, but the look in his eyes revealed sadness.

"Thank you Akira, you made this celebration." Reply Dimas.

After Akira leaves, Dimas is confused by his feelings and instead feels sad about having to leave the hospital.

'I won't be able to see him again.' he thought.

Dimas decided to call Sofia.

[I need your help to determine where I should go for therapy. And I also need someone who can help me take care of everything and help me with my work.] Dimas.

[Of course, honey, I'm your brother. But it requires a great responsibility to choose a place of therapy.]

[I believe you.]

[Alright, Dimas. But you know for yourself, I can't stand to take care of the sick.]

[Of course.] Reply Dimas, though disappointed he knew it was Sofia, his sister.

[I will take care of everything, and will contact you when everything is ready. And I'll see you soon maybe.]

[Alright, thank you Sofia.]

Phone connection disconnected. Dimas's gaze glared at the ceiling. He felt cold, the blanket that was fitted with Akira could not warm his body.

Dimas then called the nurse to give him another blanket, before long he closed his eyes while imagining Akira's smiling face.

Seriate....
