I Love You

Arriving in the backyard, Akira is surprised by the changes to his garden. The old bushes and trees are no more.

Now the backyard of Akira's house turns into a flower garden like in a luxurious house that Akira often sees on television.

Unable to say anything, Akira sat down in an available long chair. He stared at the beautiful garden that Dimas had made for him.

There are several types of orchids that hang with various colors of flowers. Red roses bloom around every corner of the park. In the middle is a fountain with a statue of a fish that emits water through its mouth.

Akira was completely speechless, he just fell silent looking at the beauty before him.

"I hope you're not angry because I did this. But when you left and I got the divorce papers, I knew that I had to act fast if there was still a chance. . . ."

Dimas took a deep breath.

"So I try to behave like this by giving you flowers and perfume, exactly as you like."

"I never imagined that you would do any of this. It's very beautiful Dimas."

"I know that I've been acting too much on you. But I did it all because I thought it was best for you." Dimas.

Dimas took his breath back.

"That was never a problem for me." Reply Akira.

"But that's a problem for me, Akira. You make yourself a stronger, more independent person. I don't want to tie you up to be mine because you feel sorry for me. The best thing I can do is just look at you and let you get your freedom, get your financial problems resolved and free you from any liabilities you think are indebted to me." Clear Dimas.

"Ending the past, start for the future." Reply Akira.

"I felt so sad when you left me, especially when you said we couldn't relate to more than just friends."

"Because I believe you don't love me, don't need me, until you're healed." Akira paused his speech to gather his courage. "Even if you love me, I know I can't go back to our old relationship. I see no future between us. There is only the present and the past."

"The two of us almost let the past ruin our relationship." Dimas held Akira's hand and held it tightly. "I love you Akira. I want us to be together again."

'I love you Akira.'

The word that Akira had wanted to hear all along. But Akira tried to hold back his happy feelings. Akira realizes the difference between the two is the biggest barrier in their relationship.

"I want us to be together again Dim. But can we? We should be able to trust each other." Akira.

Dimas was silent, however Dimas also realized that between them there was a difference that became a barrier.
