MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)
CHAPTER 37: DOCTOR TEDY

After preparing everything, including the luggage that we will take with us to stay at Mbak Ning's house, we headed to the practice place of Dr. Tedy.

"Sir, I'm a little late because I have to go to the doctor first." The sound of a WA message from me addressed to Mbak Ning.

"Well, who's sick, brother?" reply Mbak Ning.

"Nothing, Ma'am. Just check up" I replied.

"Well, who's sick? Almost I told you not to come here" replied Ms. Ning.

"What about Uncle Ning now?" I turned around to ask.

"Well, that's it, brother. Sometimes delicious .. sometimes not tasty .. This stomach is like being stabbed and stiff when it's crumpled," replied Mbak Ning.

"Medicine from the doctor is taken continuously, right?" my many.

"Yes, Brother. But, I guess it doesn't have much effect. Just a little less pain," he replied.

"Just let it go, Ma'am. Disease does not go away immediately, Mother. Later if the medicine runs out, just try the Lab check or X-ray," I replied.

"Yes, Brother. But, there's something strange about this disease, brother. The inn is very lazy if you want to pray," replied Ms. Ning.

"That's it, huh, Ma'am?" many wonder.

"Yes, Brother. I think there's something else, sister," replied Sister Ning.

"Yes, but still against that laziness, Ma'am," I replied.

"Yes, Brother" replied Sister Ning.

After quite a long time texting each other through WA with Mbak Ning, finally the car we drive arrived at the doctor's practice Tedy. Sister Nina, who was in charge of helping Dr. Tedy, welcomed us.

"Good morning, Miss Sinta ... Mr. Diki .... Wait a minute, will you? Dr. Tedy is still examining the patient with a queue number four inside. Please wait first. It just so happens that the queue number Bu Sinta and Pak Diki ordered online is number five" Sister Nina said in her courtesy.

"Thank you very much, yes, Sus ...," I replied as I pulled up Mas Diki's arm to sit on the sofa.

It didn't take long for the two of us to wait. About five minutes after sitting on the sofa, the patient in the room doctor Tedy was out of the room.

"Monggo, Mr. Diki and Ms. Sinta! doctor Tedy is waiting inside, "call the beautiful woman.

"Thank you, Sus," I replied as I stepped into the practice room.

"Accoland ...." Mas Diki said his regards.

"Waaikumussalaaam .... Wow, the arrival of the clothing merchant! What dream, yeah, I had last night?" doctor Tedy said enthusiastically.

"Don't overdo it, Doc!" mas Diki Protest.

"Well, the fact is, right? Mr. Diki is a clothing merchant. Lah, my family, right, regulars at Pak Diki's store?" replied doctor Tedy.

"Not a merchant, Doc. Just a basket of clothes," replied Mas Diki.

"What sack? Lah wong turnover has been hundreds of millions," replied doctor Tedy did not want to lose.

"Omset loh, huh? Not profit," replied Mas Diki.

"Ngeles just keep this Mr. Diki. Lah wong Pak Diki's donation in my orphanage alone, every month a lot.

" Already! Don't take the trouble, Doc! I'm here for a consultation," cut Mas Diki.

"OKAY. What complaints does Mr Diki have?" ask doctor Teddy.

"Hm ..." Mas Diki seemed to be thinking hard to be able to choose the words that deserve to be expressed to doctor Tedy.

"Look, Doctor ...." I also explained the chronology of the reason why we came to see Dr. Tedy. The doctor looked carefully at all my explanations. He who was like a friend to us both really showed a professional attitude. His facial expression listened to my explanation like a student listening to his lecturer's explanation. There was neither a smile nor a sneer at what was happening with the two of us. While Mas Diki seems a bit embarrassed by this. After I finished speaking, Dr. Tedy thought for a moment.

"Please lie there, Mr. Diki!" he said while taking some equipment that will be used to check my husband's physical condition.

Mas Diki also obeyed doctor Tedy's orders. I was standing behind Dr. Tedy when my husband was checked for tension, pulse, and so on.

Mas Diki followed the movements shown in the picture several times. Doctor Tedy also showed other pictures, Mas Diki swiftly and skillfully followed the instructions of doctor Tedy. After a while, Dr. Teddy asked us to sit down.

"Look, Mrs Sinta and Mr. Diki. After checking the physical condition of Mr. Diki, it seems that physically Mr. Diki is not any problem, precisely his physical endurance is very good at his age. But, to be more convincing, Mr. Diki should be done blood tests, urine tests, and semen quality tests," said Dr. Tedy.

"Do your best, Doc! We will follow all the doctor's advice" I replied.

"Alright, now we'll take a sample. I'll prepare the device" said Dr. Tedy.

After that, a sample was taken to check the blood, urine, and semen of Mas Diki. After everything was over, we were asked to sit down again.

"For the result, it is still waiting, if not later in the afternoon, yes tomorrow. Later I will call through the phone of Mr. Diki or Bu Sinta," said doctor Tedy.

"To my number only, Doc. Oh, yes, is there a prescription drug that we should redeem?" my many.

"Not yet, Miss Sinta. We'll wait for the lab check. Oh, yeah, is there another problem?" ask doctor Teddy.

"Look, Doc. We want a second child program" I replied shyly.

"Well, great. Bu Sinta just stop the KB program that has been implemented so far," replied Dr. Tedy.

"Would I stop my KB program and get pregnant right away, Doc?" my many.

"Yes, no, Mom. Everything needs a process. Even though Bu Sinta has stopped the KB program today, it still takes time for Ms. Sinta to get pregnant because the remnants of her pregnancy prevention in the mother's body are still there for some time, but the mother will be fertile again after some time," said Dr. Tedy.

"Ooo so. Do I have to take medication, Doc?" ask again.

"No need, Mom. Ma'am Sinta I just give you vitamins," replied Dr. Tedy while sticking out a bottle of vitamins.

"Thank you, Doc! Then we say goodbye first," I said.

"Together, Miss Sinta ... Mr. Diki ...," replied the Doctor.

We left the clinic for Doctor Tedy to go to Madam Ning's house. Along the way, Mas Diki did not smile at all after returning home from doctor Tedy.

"Mas, why are you pouting so? Ntar yangnya ilang loh!" my broom.

"Eh, no really, brother. Mas is okay," replied Mas Diki with a slight smile, but then back flat face.

"That's a frown again" I rebuked.

"Eh, anu, Dik ..," replied Mas Diki stuttered like hiding something.

"What's up, Mom? Open up to me!" my insistence.

Mas Diki turned his head towards me for a while, then returned his gaze straight towards the road.

"Dik Sinta promise will not be offended or angry if I'm frank?" ask Mas Diki.

"No, Mas. I won't be angry" I replied convincingly.

"Dik, actually if the same is true again Dik Sinta, why Mas suddenly like that is not because Mas experienced physical constraints. But, either because Mas had a lot of thoughts or what, but Mas saw suddenly Dik Sinta's body turned into ...," replied Mas Diki slowly.

"What's it gonna be, Mas?" manya curious.

Mas Diki took a deep breath.

"Being a pocong, Dik!" she answered with teary eyes and there was worry in her eyes.
