MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)

MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)
EPISODE 56: SECRETS

Mr. Ade fell asleep while holding his wife's hand. At five o'clock in the morning they all woke up because there was a cleaning service officer who would clean the room occupied by them. Mr. Ade that morning woke up with a fitter body condition. Ms. Nisa did ask Dr. Marni to give the best medicine to her husband. Mr. Ade that morning invited Revan to play fingers while still sitting on his mattress. Revan's presence there adds to the man's spirit to get well soon.

After alternating morning showers in the hospital bathroom, Ms. Nisa also wiped Mr. Ade's body with warm water so that the man's body became fresher again. At about six in the morning, the nurse accompanied by medical faculty students came to Pak Ade's room to conduct an examination and interview with Mr. Ade. Mr. Ade himself answered all the questions of the students enthusiastically.

“Mas, I think you will recover faster,”, said Bu Nisa with a fluffy smile.

“Thank God, Dik. Not good, Dik, linger here,” replied Mr. Ade.

“Who is also at home in the hospital, Mas?” sahut the woman.

Some time later Marni's doctor appeared in the room.

“Eh, doctor Marni. Good morning, Doc?” greet Bu Nisa.

“Good morning, Mom. How is your condition this morning? Last night how was the break?” ask Dr. Marni.

“Today my body is more fit, Doc. Last night I slept quite well,” replied Mr. Ade.

“Good then. I first check the condition of the wound and the condition of the body Mr, yes?” doctor Marni said.

“Iya, Doc,” replied Mr. Ade.

Ms. Nisa noticed when Marni's doctor did her job very deftly. The woman was impatiently waiting for the kalima to be delivered by Marni's doctor.

“Wah, I see the recovery of the wound is good and also the condition of Mr. is very much progress. Hm .. It looks like tomorrow morning you can go home,” said Marni doctor is short, solid, and clear.

“Wah, thank goodness that's the case, Doc!” sahut Bu Nisa is happy.

“Thank you very much yes, Doc, for your help. Oh yeah, last night my wife forgot to give her rice wrapper to the Doctor. Finally the rice wrap was given to Sister Marisa,” said Mr. Ade.

“Oh .. It's okay Mr. Last night I went home,” replied Marni doctor while putting her war weapon in a large pocket in her work coat.

“Once again I apologize, Doc. I don't know with what we can repay the kindness of doctor Marni,” said Ms. Nisa.

“Not bother, Mom. Seeing you recover faster, I was happy. Later sister Marni will deliver medicine outside and inside. Please the medicine is consumed regularly so that tomorrow you can really be outpatient,” replied Dr. Marni.

“Sure, Doc. All the advice of the Doctor I will follow so that I recover quickly and can do activities again,” replied Mr. Ade.

“Alright, then I say goodbye first. Oh yes, I heard from Sister Marisa, she said last night there were three adults and one child who stayed here. Is true?” ask Marni's doctor who surprised them enough.

“I-iya, Doctor. Wh why? Have we made a mistake?” ask Mr. Ade stammeringly.

“Begini, Mr. .. Bu. in this hospital applies rules one patient can only be cared for by one companion. Surely if the number of escorts is more than that in violation of the rules here,” replied doctor Marni firmly.

“M-forgive us yes, Doc. Last night my son was fussy about meeting his father. Finally my son was escorted by my neighbor's husband and wife. Well, once it gets here. I forbid them to go home because it is night,” replied Ms. Nisa.

“Whatever the reason, that right is not allowed here, ma'am. Please don't repeat it again. Make good use of patient visiting hours. All that we do so that patients can rest comfortably,” replied Dr. Marni.

“I-iya, Doc. Thank you very much for all your help,” replied Ms. Nisa.

“Ya. I say goodbye to my room,” said Marni doctor while walking away from Mr. Ade's room.

“I-iya, Mom,” says Bu Nisa.

After escorting Marni doctor to the door, Bu Nisa comes back in and walks towards her husband who continues his game again with Revan.

“Dik, Mr Jefri and Bu Jefri go where?” ask Mr. Ade.

“Tadi said he wanted to go ahead to buy breakfast,” replied Bu Nisa.

“Luckily, just now they were not there when Marni's doctor reprimanded us,” Pak Ade replied.

“Iya, Mas,” sahut Bu Nisa lightly.

“What if we are here?” Suddenly Mr. Jefri was already in the room with his wife.

“Eh .. Mr. Jefri. Where have you been since?” greet Mr. Ade to his neighbor.

“We from front buy cake for breakfast. Again I want to know, why if we are both here?” ask Mr. Jefri again.

Ms. Nisa and Mr. Ade looked at each other and Ms. Nisa chose to tell the truth to her neighbor.

“Begini, Mr. Jeri .. Mbak .. Just now we were both reprimanded by doctor Marni regarding the number of waiters Mas Ade said to violate the rules here. But, Mr. Jefri and Ms. Jefri, no offense, huh? Honestly, the existence of the two of you is very helpful to me and Mas Ade. I don't know, if there are no two of you, I'm a confused party alone,” Miss Nisa replied politely.

“Oooo .. so. No, Miss Nisa .. Mr. Ade .. We are both not offended because we understand the rules,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“Thank you for the understanding, Mr. Jefri ... Mbak ..” replied Bu Nisa politely.

“Oh yes, we have breakfast first, yuk?” take Mrs Jefri.

They finally had breakfast together. After finishing breakfast, the door was suddenly knocked. Sister Marisa came with medicines and bandages.

“Good morning, Sister!” greet Bu Nisa.

“Good morning Mother .. Wow, I think Mr soon this morning?” sister Marisa said.

“Iya, Sus. This was thanks to the Sister's help as well. Sister bring anything now?” said Mr. Ade.

“I brought medicines to drink today and also I was told to change the bandage of the wound by the doctor Marni,” replied Sister Marisa.

“OK, Sister,” replied Mr. Ade.

Because there is a sister Marisa in the room, Ms. Nisa also wants to talk with Mr. Jefri and Bu Jefri about Mr. Dimas.

“Mas, I go outside first for a while, yes?” said Ms. Nisa.

“Where to, Dik?” ask Mr. Ade.

“You go to the canteen first. Wait, kok!” answer Miss Nisa.

“Do not long! Answer Mr. Ade.

Miss Nisa walked outside the room. Mr. Jefri and Bu Jefri who understood the purpose of Bu Nisa came out and immediately followed Bu Nisa.

“I want to go to the canteen too!” said Mr. Jefri deliberately hardened to be heard by Mr. Ade.

“I'm coming, Mas!” ma'am Jefri replied as she walked after her husband.

Arriving outside the room, Mr. Jefri and Bu Jefri were already awaited by Ms. Nisa.

“Pak Jefri's. How is the latest news about Mr Dimas?” ask Miss Nisa.

“Pak Dimas's body since last night has been in this hospital,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“Oh yes? When did the body get here?” ask Bu Nisa curious.

“At the time Bu Nisa and my wife were asleep, I saw the police and medical team pushing a gurney containing Mr. Dimas' body through in front of this room,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“Loh, why didn't you wake me, Mas?” bu Jefri Protest.

“I don't have the heart to disturb the sleep of both of you. One more reason I didn't wake you up is I didn't want to invite a night-time commotion. Ntar even Mr. Ade knows that Mr. Dimas died,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“Yes, you're right, Mr. Jefri. I am worried that Mas Ade was shocked when he heard this news,” replied Ms. Nisa.

“Sovernight I also had a chat with Bu Dimas too, but not for long because I was worried about the situation in the room,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“According to Mr Jefri, we keep this a secret from Mas Ade or we just say?” ask Miss Nisa.

“Hm .. If I think we tell you now, Ms. Nisa. After all, Mr. Ade's situation is now mengingan. Mr. Dimas's body has not been buried. If we tell him after the body is buried, I am afraid Mr. Ade will be angry,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“Hm .. You sure, Mr Jefri?” asked Miss Nisa with great concern.

“Iya, Mom. It's safer that way. Mr. Ade will surely be great if he knows that Mr. Dimas' death was deliberately kept secret against him,” replied Mr. Jefri.

“Ya already, then after breakfast I will deliver it Mas Ade. Please Mr Jefri and Mrs Jefri accompany me!” said Ms. Nisa.

“Alright, Mom,” answer them both.

“Then let's now go to the cafeteria so Mas Ade does not suspect!? Take Miss Nisa.

“Come!” replied Mr. Jefri and Ms. Jefri.

The three of them finally left for the canteen. Unbeknownst to them, as they turned to the cafeteria, Bu Dimas and Niko, accompanied by Herman and Chintia, walked through the VIP room corridor to the morgue. Had they come a minute early would have met them.

“That's Mr. Ade's room. Should I stop by now? But, if later Mr. Ade asks my husband how? Didn't Mr Jefri tell me last night that Mr Ade wasn't told about my husband's death until he was completely stable? Instead, I go straight to the morgue to pick up my husband's body to be buried at home,” Bu Dimas told himself.

However, something beyond belief happened. As she passed in front of Mr. Ade's room, along with Sister Marisa's exit from the room. At that time Revan was in the room and could see there was Bu Dimas outside the room through the opening of the door leaf.

“Budeeeeeeee ...,” call Revan out loud.

Ms. Dimas and Mr. Ade were surprised by the screams of the little boy.
