MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)

MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)
EPISODE 66: TRICKERY

After being left by Jatmiko and his mother, Mr. Ade was busy arranging a strategy on how to get his wife and child to drink by mixing the ashes of the seven-figure burnt flowers. Since then, Bu Nisa and Revan have continued to stand guard near Mr. Ade, so Mr. Ade has no chance to mix the ashes of the flower into the two people's drink. If Mr. Ade is honest with his wife, surely his wife will reject him outright. Apart from his wife not being so clenical, he was also disgusted. Surely he will not be able to drink water mixed with the ashes of the seven flowers.

“Duh, what should I do now? If I don't do it right away, they could both be killed by Laras' spirit. You, Dik Nisa, don't believe the same. I'm the one who bothers to be!” grumbled Mr. Ade in his heart.

Miss Nisa who saw her husband like confusion since then could not bear to ask him directly to her husband.

“Mas, why are you like people confused I noticed since earlier?” reprimand Bu Nisa.

Mr. Ade who was thinking hard was surprised to get such a reprimand.

“Eh .. Not really, Dik. I'm not confused. I'm just thirsty,” replied Mr. Ade spontaneously.

“Haus? Is there water next to you, man? I take it, huh?” ms. Nisa replied while getting up from the carpet and intending to help get some water for Mr. Ade.

Revan, who had been sitting on the carpet playing cards with his mother, stopped his activities and looked at his mother who was walking towards his father.

“No, Dik. I don't want to drink this water. It feels foreign in my pangrokan,” replied Mr. Ade while holding his throat using his right hand.

“Keep, Mas Ade want to drink what? If you don't want the same white water?” answer Miss Nisa.

“I want to sip a sweet drink, Dik?” replied Mr. Ade in a plain tone.

“Loh, Mass. It is still in the treatment stage. So, you can't drink sweet drinks just yet. Fear even interfere with the performance of the drug. If Mas Ade's sugar levels go up, how? Ntar did not heal his wounds. Yes, right?” the protest of Bu Nisa.

“Iya, Dik's. But, how, huh? The esophagus of this mas is a very tasteful pait. If you have to drink water it continues, mas so nauseous and like to vomit so. Allow a little sweet-sweet drinking mas, yes?” whinek Pak Ade's.

“Mas want to cure or want to linger in this hospital?” replied Miss Nisa firmly.

“That's so much you, Dik, sama mas!” gerutu Pak Ade's.

“Kok said that? This I do open because I have the same heart Mas Ade, but this is for the good of Mas Ade too,” replied Bu Nisa while smiling.

“Ah, you this lecture continues the same mas. Try, if there is water that tastes a little sweet. Must be good times, huh?” grumbled Mr. Ade while looking down.

Miss Nisa listened carefully to her husband. Then the woman smiled as if she was coming up with a fresh idea. Meanwhile Mr. Ade secretly also smiled because his plan seemed to be going smoothly.

“Mas ...,” call Bu Nisa then on her husband.

Mr. Ade who had expected it was smiling happily in his heart, but he pretended to put on a lethargic face as if he was still upset his desire was not obeyed by his wife.

“What, Dik?” sahut Mr. Ade ogah-ogahan.

Ms. Nisa spread a smile to her husband as a sign that she will deliver pleasant news for her husband.

“Mas, I have an idea, nih!” said Bu Nisa with enthusiasm and sparkling eyes.

“What idea, Dik? Lazy I heard the idea of Dik Nisa. All that is in my brain is just sweet drinks at this time there is nothing else,” said Mr. Ade with a lazy tone.

“Wait a minute, Mas! Mas know right, now there are bottled mineral water drinks that are said to taste rather sweet? How about Mas Ade I give you that drink?” mrs Nisa replied happily.

“Ah, it's in Jakarta, Dik! If in our small town this cannot exist,” replied Mr. Ade.

“There, Mas! I saw the mineral water on the canteen display rack,” said Ms. Nisa enthusiastically.

“Oh yes?” pekik Pak Ade pretended to be surprised when he had planned it before and his wife had entered his trap.

“Iya, Mas! I buy you three bottles at once! You want to, right?” cheers Miss Nisa with joy.

“Mau, Dik .. I want to! Thanks a lot, yes!” shouted Mr. Ade pretending to be happy.

“Oke, I'm leaving now! But, is it okay for me to stay here alone?” ms. Nisa said to her husband.

Mr. Ade thought for a moment. Actually he was initially afraid of being left alone in the room, but after being winnowed by his mother Jatmiko, the man felt more confident.Toh, he had believed that for the next three days, he had believed that, laras' spirit will not be able to touch him.

“Iya. It's okay, Sister! You go to the cafeteria! Bring Revan too!” said Mr. Ade with a calm face expression.

Bu Nisa was very happy to see the change of Mr. Ade who was initially very timid suddenly turned calmer than before.

“OK, I'm going to the cafeteria first huh, Mas! Come on, revan come with mom!” said Ms. Nisa while holding Revan to leave the VIP room.

Mr. Ade released his wife's departure with a little hesitation but relieved because he finally had time to meddle the drink of his son and his wife with the ashes of the remaining seven-figure burnt flowers that he stored.

“Iya, Mother! Careful!” sahut Pak Ade's.

After his wife and son left, Mr. Ade hastily opened the white crackle next to his dip. Inside the white crackle he found one bottle of sweet tea and one bottle of children's drink. He immediately turned the cap of the two bottles and hurriedly put seven-colored burnt ash into each bottle. He did so in great haste because of the worry that his wife and son would suddenly appear in front of him. After successfully putting the ash into the bottle, he shuffled the two bottles to mix perfectly. After a long time he shuffled the two bottles, Mr. Ade also put the two bottles back into the white crackle as usual. Next he hid the round container of flower ash into the table drawer next to it. Then the man was waiting for the arrival of his wife and child while leaning his back to the pillow he stacked behind his back.

“Thank God, I've finished putting that ash in Nisa and Revan's bottle. I just set a strategy on how they can immediately drink the drink so that they are also safe like me,” said Mr. Ade to himself.

Mr. Ade continued to wait for the arrival of his wife and child with impatience. Although he was brave enough to be alone in the VIP room, but when he was really alone in that place, the fear was also long-lasting he felt as well.

“Duh, how long did Nisa and Revan go?” thought Mr. Ade.

Grac!

Suddenly the door was opened by someone.

“You, Dik?” shouted Mr. Ade quite loudly.

There was no word, but there were steps leading into the room. Mr. Ade doubted it was the sound of his wife's steps because the sound of the steps was like someone wearing shoes. Just now that Mr. Ade was worried about it, that person had already appeared before him.

“Doctor Marni!” peekik Pak Ade was a little surprised.

“Iya. It's me, Mr. Ade. I came here to give the final injection to Mr. Ade. Tomorrow afternoon Mr. Ade can go home if Mr. Ade's condition has improved,” replied Marni doctor while stepping slowly but surely towards Mr. Ade.

“What's true tomorrow I can go home, Doc?” ask Mr. Ade not to believe.

“Iya. By the way where is Mr Ade's wife, why was Mr Ade left alone?” ask Marni's doctor while pulling the yellow liquid from the bottle into the injection device she holds.

Mr. Ade watched as Marni's doctor slowly raised the injection device upwards toward an infusion bottle hung on a special device to hang the infusion bottle. Somehow Mr. Ade suddenly remembered his dream some time ago. He began to doubt whether the woman in front of him was really Marni's doctor or not. Doubtful, he tried to buy time at least until his wife came from the canteen.

“Wait, Doc!” prevent Mr. Ade while holding Marni's hand.

“What's up, Mr Ade?” ask Marni with a less happy face.

“Loh, why is Pak Ade's tumben now acutely treated through an infusion hose? Yesterday Mr. Ade did not why,” protested Marni doctor to Mr. Ade.

Back Mr. Ade had to think of a reason to answer the woman's question.

“Anu, Doc! Somehow, the last drug Doctor MArni injected was a bit of pain in my hand,” Pak Ade replied lying.

“Ah, that's normal, sir. Later also the fault itself,” replied the doctor Marni while trying to lift the injection back up.

“Do not, Doc!” prevent Mr. Ade again.

“Loh, Mr Ade wants to heal quickly, no? Same time drug fear? I'm in the hunt to check on other patients, here!” insist doctor Marni does not want to lose.

Finally, Mr. Ade also had no other reason to refuse the injection into his body through an infusion bottle. Even though at that time Mr. Ade was still very doubtful whether the woman in front of him was really the doctor Marni or the spirit of Laras who was disguised as a medical personnel.

Doctor Marni's hand has begun to rise to the top to lift the injection tool containing drugs for the healing of Mr. Ade. Mr. Ade can no longer refuse to administer the drug. The infusion slowly mixed with the drug injected by the woman down from the infusion bottle through the hose to the veins of Pak Ade. At such a critical moment, suddenly Bu Nisa and Revan came into the room.

“Doctor Marni?” greet Bu Nisa.

“Iya, Mom. This is me injecting the last injection drug to the husband of Mother before Mr. Ade comes home tomorrow afternoon,” replied Marni doctor calmly.

Mr. Ade breathed a sigh of relief because the woman really was Marni's doctor.

“Oh yes? So, my husband can actually go home tomorrow afternoon?” ask Miss Nisa.

“Iya, Mom. Provided that until tomorrow there are no symptoms, it means that tomorrow afternoon Mr. Ade can go home,” replied Marni seriously.

“Thank God then. Thank you very much, Doc!” answer Miss Nisa.

“Sama-Sama. But, just now Mr. Ade seemed to object to me injecting this drug,” said Marni doctor.

“Loh, why do you mind, Mas?” asked Bu Nisa not to believe it.

“It's not so, Dik. Mas just said that the injection felt a bit hot if passing in the pulse of my arm,” replied Mr. Ade.

“It was ordinary, Mas. But, right, the injection was to cure you,” replied Ms. Nisa.

“Iya anyway, Dik. I'm just saying I'm going to see Marni's doctor. The proof is, I was injected just now. Isn't that right, Doc?” sahut Pak Ade's.

Dr Marni did not answer. He hurriedly tidied up his medical equipment and immediately told the two of them to check on the patient in the other room.

“I say goodbye first, Mr. .. Bu ..” said Marni doctor with a flat expression.

“Once again I apologize for the behavior of my husband yes, Doc!” said Ms. Nisa.

Doctor Marni did not reply and he just left. Ms. Nisa just grumbled at her husband who she thought was being disrespectful to Marni's doctor.

“Mas, next time do not like that doctor Marni, yes?” said Ms. Nisa.

“Tadi, I'm just khilaf, Dik. Oh yeah, where's my drink?” ask Mr. Ade to divert the conversation.

Ms. Nisa put the white crackle she brought from the canteen right next to the white crackle she put there earlier.

“This, Mas! Let's go drink! She said you were thirsty,” said Ms. Nisa while taking a bottle of mineral water to her husband.

Mr. Ade accepted his wife's gift with pleasure. However, he did not immediately drink the drink. He said to his wife.

“Dik, kia it's been a long time huh not walk?” said Mr. Ade.

Ms. Nisa was stunned by her husband's words.

“Iya, Mas. Why emang? Wanna take a walk? You're still sick, right? Wait for you to be healthy first let us go for a walk again,” replied Ms. Nisa.

“Dik, I'm sorry because you rarely take a walk and Revan walks!” said Mr. Ade with the expression of a sad face.

“Nothing really, Mom. I'm busy with work,” said Bu Nisa.

“Ngot that too, Dik. It should be as busy as any time to take the two of you out for a walk as it used to be when Revan was still TK,” replied Mr. Ade.

“Already, Mas. No need to miki. Later, if Mas has healed and there is time, Mas can take us for another walk,” replied Bu Nisa.

“Iya. I promise, Brother. Oh yeah, you remember not when we went to the square first time to invite Revan?” ask Mr. Ade.

“Inget, Yes. Why?” asked Ms. Nisa while remembering her life a few years ago when her husband still did not have much money like now.

“Mas missed those times, Dik. Inget, no? At that time we could only afford a drink for Revan. While we both only drink tea water that we bring from home?” said Mr. Ade in a sad tone.

“Iya, Mas. But, it was a memorable experience for me, Mas,” said Ms. Nisa in a bitter tone.

“Dik, I want to repeat those times. We had three drinks together, yuk, now!” said Mr. Ade began to launch the action.

“Mas serious?” asked Bu Nisa moved.

“Iya, Dik's. Mas really miss reminiscing about that time,” replied Mr. Ade while taking out bottles of drinks owned by his wife and Revan.

“Sini, Revan. We'll have a drink together, yuk! While reminiscing about the past!” bring Mr. Ade.

“Yes, Yeah!” sahut Revan as he walked up to his father.

Ms. Nisa was really moved by her husband's attitude. He truly remembers those sweet memories. To be honest the simple life of his family used to be more beautiful than the luxurious life now. Despite the mediocre money, but Mr. Ade used to feel at home and never came home late at night.

“Come, Dik!”reprimand Mr. Ade to his dreamy wife.

“Eh, yes, Mas!” ms. Nisa replied while opening the lid of the bottle she was holding.

The three of them opened the bottle together with a crisp smile greeted Ade. The smile that made Bu Nisa and Revan not aware that the bottle of the drink was already unsealed and also they drank the drink in the bottle without any suspicion even though the taste of the drink was different from usual. The outpouring of love Mr. Ade at that time really made Miss Nisa and Revan like hypnotized to drink the liquid in the bottle without any suspicion at all. Mr. Ade also felt happy after the two people he loved were also protected by spells of protection from his mother Jatmiko.

Mr. Ade rested his body after drinks in the child's bottle and his wife was empty. This time he felt much calmer than before. Still he waited for the opportunity to explain to his wife and son about the efficacy and impact of drinking the magic potion.
