MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)

MARANTI (FOOD OF THE DEAD)
EPISODE 119: AWESOME

The head of the giant snake is getting closer to the tiny bodies of Mr. Ade and Jatmiko. As soon as the two people were eaten by the snake's mouth, suddenly a miracle happened. The giant snake groaned fiercely and was thrown towards the outside of the yard of Jatmiko's house.

“Arrrrrrgh aaaaaarrrrgh!!!” shouted the serpent-headed spirit of Laras very loudly.

Jatmiko and Mr. Ade who were preparing to die at that time felt something strange. Not yet had they opened their eyes, a pair of hands had pulled them into Jatmiko's house so they both survived the attack of the giant snake that almost ate their bodies a second before.

“Ibuuuuuuu!!!” tekik Jatmiko with a feeling of relief mixed with fear.

Mr. Ade at that time could not say anything more because his strength was drained and his body was weak and he leaned on Jatmiko's body. Jatmiko swiftly put the body of her best friend on a chair in the living room of her house.

“You have been told not to leave the house tonight even irritated. This is the result if you do not want to obey my advice,” Nagging Grandma Galuh while watching the limp body of Mr. Ade and lying in his living room chair.

“I'm sorry, Mom. Earlier, Revan suddenly had a stomachache and wanted to defecate so the three of us went out of the house and met with the spirit of Laras,” Pak Ade replied with gasps.

“Where is your wife and child now?” ask Grandma Galuh back.

“Nisa and Revan are inside, Mom,” Jatmiko replied.

“Try to see them first! Fear the spirit of the woman again kidnapped the two innocents,” said Granny Galuh.

Jatmiko steps into the front room and once there she sees Revan and Nisa hugging in fear.

“Nisa ... Revan .. called mom!”call Jatmiko to her best friend's family.

“Om Jatmiko, where's the father? Om Jatmiko managed to save you, right?” revan asked Jatmiko.

“Your father is safe, Revan. She is resting in the living room,” replied Jatmiko in a serious tone.

“Horeeeeeeeee!!!” revan yelled cheerfully as he ran off his mother's embrace towards where Jatmiko was standing.

Ms. Nisa could only look at her son with a confused feeling mixed with happiness because she heard the news that Mr. Ade had been saved.

“Where's the father, Om Jatmiko?” yelled Revan while tugging at the clothes Jatmiko was wearing.

“That's your father, Revan lying in the guest chair,” replied Jatmiko while pointing towards the living room.

Revan immediately turned to the direction pointed by Jatmiko and he was even more excited to see his father was really there.

“Horeeeee, Fatheraaaaak!!!” revan shouted excitedly as he ran towards the living room chair where his father lay.

“Slow-Slow, Revan! Your father is still exhausted,” said Grandma Galuh reprimanding the little boy.

“Iya, Mother. Excuse me. Revan has been thinking the same old man. Revan was afraid of anything happening to me. Sir ... It's Revan, sir,” call Revan back in a softer voice.

“Re ... Revaaan ..” said Mr. Ade in a weak voice.

“Bapaaaak!!” call Revan back while hugging his father's head.

“Revan!” answered Mr. Ade while holding the small hand of his son who he loved very much.

There was a warm bulb coming out of Mr. Ade's eyes at that time. He was moved because he was still given safety and the opportunity to hug his only child.  He did not expect to still be given help so as to survive the attack of the spirit of Laras which still leaves trauma for the man. Guilt for his son and wife also still hit the adult man's chest because it has involved his family to face the spirit of Laras when himself was the one who made a mistake against Laras during his life.

Ms. Nisa suddenly appeared in the living room after coming out of the front room where she and her family were staying tonight. The woman who was initially very irritated at her husband's affair was finally able to gradually erode her feelings of anger especially after seeing the closeness of Revan and his father.

“Mas, are you okay?” bu Nisa asked her husband after he was at a fairly close distance to the adult man.

Mr. Ade also singed a smile because he saw his wife who could smile back at him after previously surly to him. It was a good sign for the man, but he knew his wife was a strict man. Maybe, if in the future he repeats his actions to betray his love loyalty then there will be no more forgiveness for him.

“Iya, Dik's. I'm not why-why. I'm just exhausted,” replied Mr. Ade very happily.

Jatmiko and her mother who witnessed the heartwarming scene were also happy to see the compactness of the small family in front of them at that time.

“Now it's still late at night. How about we all go back to sleep?” granny scolds everyone in the living room.

“Yes, right my mom said just now. Tomorrow morning we have to do the rituals from the morning. We should immediately go to sleep again,” welcome Jatmiko while walking towards the door and closing the door and locking it from the inside.

Revan, who was watching Jatmiko's movements, screamed for a moment because he felt the tail of a giant snake near the door.

“U-big snake!” peeked Revan with fear.

Miss Nisa hurriedly closed the little boy's eyes and replied.

“Not, Son. It was Om Jatmiko's dirty clothes that were not inserted this afternoon,” replied Bu Nisa while giving a code to Jatmiko.

“Iya, Revan That just now you saw only dirty clothes om Jatmiko, really. Indeed the motive is like snake scales, anyway!” welcome Jatmiko to keep the little boy talking.

Galuh's grandmother who caught the danger of threatening Revan immediately spoke.

“Nisa and Revan would have better sleep in my room tonight. Let Nak Ade sleep with Jatmiko in her room,” said Galuh Granny.

“Iya, I agree to it!” jatmiko Sahut.

Ms. Nisa seemed pleased with Grandma Galuh's decision. He who initially felt afraid and thought Galuh Grandmother was strange, could finally feel that the old woman was basically a good person.

“Thank you, Mom. Sorry to bother you both so much,” replied Ms. Nisa shyly.

“Ma-makash, Mom!” sahut Pak Ade with a stammering voice.

“Jatmiko .. Help Nak Ade get into the room! I will get a drink for the three of them so they can sleep better tonight,” said Galuh Grandma later.

“Iya, Mom!” sahut Jatmiko politely to his mother.

Jatmiko also helped Ade to enter his room. Ms. Nisa also helped lead her exhausted husband. Revan held his mother's hand while entering the room towards Jatmiko's room. While Grandma Galuh headed to the kitchen to pick up a pot of water and a glass to give to Mr. Ade and his family.

When Revan was led by his mother into the room, Revan heard someone calling him. He looked towards the glass window.

“Revan, hereiii come aunty!!” the voice of the spirit of Laras who was leaning against the glass.

Of course Revan was surprised to see a creepy figure suddenly appear behind the window.
