29. It Can't Be Reached

His heart can not deny if Lyra can not accept if Rigel must be betrothed, especially the woman in his match is his own best friend. But her mouth and mind said something else, Lyra doesn't care if Rigel has to have another woman. Lyra is not her official lover. "It looks like Mr. Rigel hasn't finished his meal yet, why are you out of his room. Are you all right?" Ryan asked, furrowing his brows.

Lyra looked at Ryan and forced her smile to cover her face. "I just want to wait for him here. Shouldn't I be waiting here."

"I don't think so. Do you feel inferior after yesterday knowing if Mr. Rigel is in a match with your friend."

"I do feel inferior, because I am just a woman whose standards are far below Agni's. But I don't care, I'm not who Rigel is anyway. I'm just a worker who was given the job of preparing a meal for him."

Ryan shook his head while breathing out. "Do you want me to tell you something?"

"Sir Rigel actually likes you."

Lyra chuckles. "Where do you know if Mr. Rigel likes me. He can't possibly like a normal girl like me."

Then suddenly Rigel opened the door while carrying his dirty glasses and dishes.

"Maybe it could happen" Rigel said, holding out the dirty glasses and dishes to Lyra.

Lyra then grabbed it. But after he reached it, Rigel quickly closed the door again.

"I can't believe he likes me. Maybe he just wants to play me, because maybe he can no longer reach the first love that has been in his dream for so long" Lyra told Ryan.

"What if the woman he wants to reach is you."

Lyra immediately swallowed her saliva. "Are you sure?"

"Then how about you, can you be sure that you don't really like it."

"Of course." Lyra turned her face away, then immediately went back to the cafeteria.
