4. Suspicious

Lyra swallowed her saliva. "Of course you will think dirty of me. Just so you know, I'm not what you think."

"What am I really thinking?" Ask Axel.

"You must be thinking, if I go to a hotel with a man. Since you saw a red mark on my neck, you must have thought that I was doing something forbidden in the hotel room."

"Oh so you mean, last night you went with Daniel to the hotel when you weren't officially married."

Lyra waved her hand. "No.no, where might I go with him. We broke up yesterday."

Lyra sighed. "I was staying at a hotel, because I was drunk last night. And because hotels and nightclubs are closer than mine. I decided to stay there, because it would be dangerous if I came home drunk."

"Then why didn't you call me to come get you."

When Lyra remembered her cell phone, she immediately searched the phone into her bag.

"It looks like my phone is left at home."

Lyra then shows Axel the contents of her bag. "Look, I don't have a cell phone. Even last night I was separated from Nata at the club, so I went alone without him."

Although Axel did not know Lyra went to the hotel alone or with a man, but now Axel slightly more trust Lyra after being explained.

Then suddenly Axel hugged Lyra. "I'm sorry I've been suspicious of you. I can breathe a little because you're not doing what I think."

Lyra then releases Axel's embrace. "Stop hugging me, my breath will be tight when hugged by you."

Lyra and Axel get back in the car. After the car drove, Axel's face looked sad, he just focused on driving without speaking. Unlike earlier who asked more questions, Axel even more silent with his face in an upset bend.

"Are you in trouble?" Ask Lyra.

"Hm, no."

"Why do you look sad?"

"I'm just a little bit of a mind, having opened a new cafe."

"Are you having trouble opening your new cafe?"

Is it true Axel was sad because of that, Lyra felt astonished by him. She looked as sad as when Lyra told her about her wedding plans with Daniel. This time Axel was the same. Compared to when the family company went bankrupt, Axel's face was never as sad and sad as when Lyra told him about her marriage or when she talked about her friendship commitment.

"Where have you been? Sorry I couldn't find you last night. I regret being negligent in taking care of you. And I'm going home without you."

"You don't have to feel guilty, I'm fine now anyway."

Even if Lyra says fine, she's not okay after last night doing something forbidden with a guy at the hotel. And such a shameful thing, where could Lyra tell you. Lyra swallowed her saliva, and she nervously replied. "I was drunk, but I was a little conscious. Because the hotel was closer to the club, so I stayed there. And I'm just not being carried away by anyone."

Lyra then embraces Nata's arm. "Of we just stand here, we better get in. And you and Axel helped me clean up Daniel's belongings and his leftovers in my house."

Lyra and her two friends entered the house.

"From being thrown away, it is better to sell it. That would be better than having to be thrown away" Nata suggested.

"Bother when it has to be sold, it is better to throw everything away. I'm so happy when the stuff is at home for a long time. If it is sold not necessarily sold."

One by one, Daniel's gifts and possessions were left at home, with Lyra and her two friends in the box. Likewise with the golden chip that Daniel gave when applying for Lyra.

After finishing it, Lyra and her two friends brought boxes containing Daniel's items to the garbage shelter at the end of the complex.

"In my place there is one empty position. And that empty place is looking for a vacancy."

Lyra smiled with excitement. "Truely, I must quickly register before that position is filled in people."

"That position is not very suitable for you who are the best university graduates in cambrige. Because that vacant position is as a cook in the cafeteria."
