50. I Can't Take It When I Have to Take You Off

After a night of crying Lyra's eyes seemed puffy, Lyra went to work with a sad look on her face. Starting today, Lyra wants to end her relationship with Rigel. Ending is the last step that Lyra must take for the good of Rigel as well as herself. It might also be for the good of everyone, both his parents and for Rigel's own father.

When Lyra was about to enter the office, Rigel suddenly stopped Lyra's steps by reaching for her hand.

"Liara." Rigel furrowed his brows as he looked at Lyra's eyes that looked as if they were puffy. "Are you angry, until last night and this morning you didn't return my message."

Lyra shakes. "No, I just forgot to reply to your message. If last night I might have fallen asleep" he said with his face flat.

His puffy eyes and flat expression made Rigel suspicious. Rigel suspects that Lyra is angry that Rigel canceled his dinner last night.

"Are you really not angry?"

"Yes." Yeah." Lyra took her hand off Rigel and resumed her steps.

Not because of anger Lyra was cold to Rigel, but this was the beginning for Lyra to be able to remove Rigel from her grasp. His cold attitude was the right course of action so that Rigel could hate him and it was possible that Rigel could easily escape from Lyra.

While Rigel, he still thinks that Lyra is cold because she is angry about Rigel who can not come to the restaurant. Last night Lyra was upset and angry because Rigel did not come, but that does not mean he will continue to be angry like a child because of such a thing. It's just that if Lyra continues to be kind or gentle, Rigel will be even harder to let go.

Because Rigel was still prejudiced by last night's matter, Rigel needed to apologize and could at least make up for the time he had sacrificed for the job. Rigel chased after Lyra and then again grabbed her hand so that her steps stopped again.

"Wait on! I want to tell you something?"

"Because yesterday I couldn't come, what if I changed. So today we're going to have dinner together at that restaurant yesterday."

"What about your job? Do not force yourself if your work cannot be left behind."

"Tonight my work will be finished soon. Maybe around seven o'clock in the evening I'll finish all my work. And tonight we're gonna go together, you can wait for me at the office."

Rigel invites dinner, this is an opportunity and the right time for Lyra to say a separate word to Rigel.

Lyra nodded. "Well, I'll wait for you."

At seven o'clock in the evening, Rigel was able to finish all the work as promised this morning.

During the journey, Lyra remained cold to Rigel. Lyra remained silent even though Rigel invited her to chat. When speaking, Lyra only issued a short sentence.

"Why have you been so cold to me."

Rigel sighed, then smiled looking at Lyra. "I'm sorry I didn't know. Then, is there anything you want your mood to improve."

But if there is power, his desire can not be realized if Sandy alone is reluctant to approve his son's relationship with Lyra.

Lyra immediately shuffled from her seat. "I'm going home now." Then walk with a quick step out of the restaurant.

Rigel was in a hurry to pay his food bill, then rushed to chase after Lyra. And Rigel quickly grabbed Lyra's hand to stop her steps.

"Wait a minute! Let me take you home."

Lyra slams Rigel's hand out of his. "Let me go home alone. Today I just want to go home by myself."

"But I can't let you go home alone, Lyra."

"Please let me go home alone, today I just want to be alone so my heart and mind can be calm. Didn't you just ask me what I wanted my mood to improve." Lyra. "This is what I want now, so let me go home alone."

Without further ado Lyra set foot again without stopping Rigel. And at that moment, Lyra finally could freely let out her tears. He continued walking with both eyes that were unceasingly letting out a whirlpool. Until finally his steps took him to go to the cafe owned by Axel. Because it happened that the restaurant he had been with Rigel was not far from the cafe owned by his best friend.

Lyra came in when Axel was about to lock the door to his cafe. Axel ignored Lyra even though Lyra was nearby.

"Can you prepare a warm drink for me" said Lyra.

"Can't, I've closed the cafe" Axel said with a flat expression.

"Well if you don't want to." Lyra turned back and continued her steps.

The look on Lyra's face looked sad and both eyes looked wet because her eyes were watering. To make Axel powerless if you have to let Lyra go.

Axel. "Well, I'll give you a warm drink" he said, grabbing Lyra's hand and stopping his steps.
