67. Can't wait to See

Rigel is restless when he finds out that Lyra is going to New York, who knows when she will return to London. It's obvious that Lyra was avoiding Rigel after last night doing hot things at the resort.

Cross country has always been Lyra's choice to avoid a man who always loved her. He thought Rigel would not pursue him if he stepped far away from the European continent. In fact, Rigel really wants to go catch up with him to the busiest city in the land of Uncle Sam. Moreover, Rigel already knew with the feeling of Lyra who still put the heart, the same as it seemed.

After being told Agni about Lyra's departure to New York, Rigel immediately rushed to the room and hurriedly packed his clothes into a suitcase. While Rigel was packing, Ryan came to him.

"Don't tell me you're gonna go after him to New York."

"Of course I'll catch him there" said Rigel, who was busy putting clothes in his closet in his suitcase.

"You can't go there. Because during this one month you will be busy with a lot of work. Moreover, from London to New York is very far away, and you cannot go straight home tomorrow. When you leave, there will be a lot of work that you have to put off."

"I don't care about all the work I have."

Instantly Ryan grabbed Rigel's hand to stop him from packing his clothes into the suitcase. "I won't let you go there. Don't you really want all the work to go perfectly."

Rigel let out a rough sigh and then threw Ryan's hand from his arm. "Since when the subordinates rule over their superiors."

"You are a professional worker who is unlikely to put work aside because of personal problems. You know when this job is crucial to improving the company."

"Lyra is very important to me. I can't let him keep dodging when his heart is still on me. He will only make me and himself tortured. And I don't want us getting tormented by this unusual breakup."

"I know very well that Lyra is a very important person for you. But can you give it a minute. He must still feel astonished after doing something he shouldn't have done. Lyra is an innocent woman who is committed to not sleeping with any man before marriage. But he made a mistake the second time with the same person." Ryan took a deep breath. "Give him time to calm his heart and mind. Then after you've done all the work at the company, go after him to New York and come back to London with him."

What Ryan said was true, his heart and mind must have been stunned after doing what he shouldn't have done last night at the resort. What's more, Lyra must have been wronging herself because of her intention to avoid Rigel but instead came over crying and expressing her heart.

Rigel. "All right, I'll give it time. But don't blame me if all the employees in the office including you, will be overtime every day. Because I want to get the job done quickly and get Lyra to New York."

Ryan smiled as he nodded. "Of course, working hard to get fast and perfect results is your principle. Both in Indonesia and in London your principles will remain the same, making all employees work hard until they get the perfect result."

Day by day Rigel is increasingly matched with a schedule of work that piles up. Although he is very busy does not mean his mind is diverted from Lyra, it is increasingly his mind does not want to be separated from Lyra. Agni arrives at Rigel's room and finds her husband still in the bus with his computer, even though the clock has entered lunchtime. Similarly, Rigel is also busy with his laptop.

"Isn't it time for lunch, how can you still work."

Rigel let out a rough sigh. "What did you come here for. Your arrival will only disturb your husband's work."

"I came here to give you lunch. And it turns out what I was worried about was true. My husband had to forget about eating because of his job. It's been almost three weeks since you made my husband come home late at night, and you've also made my husband put off his lunch."

"I told him to take a break, but he wanted to finish his job."

"Once you work, better have lunch first. I've prepared a meal for you both." Agni put down and opened all her lunch boxes on the table.

Before long Agni opened all her lunch boxes, suddenly the phone ringing on Rigel's phone rang. Rigel immediately checked his phone. But immediately Rigel was stunned when he saw the name of the contact on behalf of Lyra who made his phone ring. Rigel was in a hurry to pick up the phone from the woman who had been given the status of her lover.

When the phone was picked up, Lyra called Rigel's name with a nasal voice like crying.

"Regel."

"Lyra, are you okay?" Ask Rigel in a panic.

"Yes, I'm fine. Now I'm at your apartment door."

"really." Rigel was surprised when he heard Lyra was in front of his apartment. "then wait inside, I will give the door password through a message. And I'll be there soon."

Rigel hung up his phone and hurried to close his laptop, then hurriedly moved away from his desk.

"For the afternoon cancel my meeting with the client" he told Ryan.

"But sir, today's meeting is very important. You can't cancel the meeting."

"I don't care if my job falls apart. Because what I care about right now is Lyra. He's waiting for me at the apartment."

Even though Ryan has forced her to stay in the office, Rigel goes to see Lyra. Rigel does not care about anything, what he currently cares about is the curiosity to meet the soulmate who is waiting for him in his apartment.
