42. His Thing He Makes Me Sorrow

What Rigel said was something Lyra wanted to ask and it was also something that made Lyra hesitant to discuss. Lyra hesitated, because after hearing the story from Agni, Lyra immediately violated herself. Lyra was afraid that what she wanted to discuss would cause a quarrel with Rigel.

The quarrel cannot happen even though Rigel has already started saying it. Lyra also pretended to smile even though her heart was very sad.

"If that's what you want, I agree with it, too" Lyra said without looking.

Rigel hugged Lyra from behind. "I'm happy when I'm with you. But sorry, I can't propose to you right away. After I quit this job I plan to start a new business. My money now might not be enough if we have to get married soon. But I promise I'll raise the money soon enough to marry you."

"Don't I tell you a few times, that we should really enjoy our courtship. So, you don't have to apologize for not being able to marry me immediately."

"Whatever happens don't ever leave me, Lyra."

Lyra smiled and turned to look at Rigel. "Of course I won't leave you."

After seeing it, Rigel's face looked sad. And it was clear that both of his eyes were holding back tears. His eyes were slightly red and even slightly inundated by the water. However, Rigel even smiled as if his sadness did not want Lyra to know.

Soon, Lyra and Rigel return home. During her journey home, Lyra continued to feel uneasy. Lyra thought that Rigel had quarreled with his father about him refusing to get engaged to Agni and preferred to leave the company. And Lyra was also convinced that Rigel had a very big fight with his father. Because it was clear that Rigel looked sad, even now he still showed a sad expression. Lyra was eager to ask Rigel, but the situation made it impossible for her to ask. He was afraid that the question would make Rigel even more sad. Lyra also shut her mouth even though the curiosity continues to tease her.

Because the distance from the office to Rigel's second home is quite far, the time taken takes about an hour to arrive. But when Rigel was about to enter the car into the gate of his house, suddenly a car that looked foreign in his view out of the gate of his house.

Rigel even to the point of twitching his forehead when staring at the car. "Who's car is coming out of my house."

"Why indeed? What the car just came out of wasn't the car that Jay's private driver used."

Rigel shook his head quickly. "That's not the car Jay's driver was driving."

Rigel panicked and rushed his car into the gate. Then it went down after turning off the engine of his car. By the time he got inside the house, his house was as messy as a broken ship. Almost all items made of glass and ceramics broke scattered on the floor. Rigel and Lyra also find her nanny and maid crying. Not only that, even the driver and body guard were injured as if beaten.

"Where's Jay?" Ask Rigel to his nanny and servant.

"There should be some people coming, they're making a mess at home and taking Jayden forcibly away from us" his nanny Jayden replied.

Angry Rigel immediately enslaved after hearing his favorite nephew was taken away by someone else. Rigel rushed back to his car. Likewise with Lyra who also went to follow Rigel's steps.

"Where are you? We better call the police to report this incident" Lyra said.

"No need to report, I already know who took Jay away. You don't have to come with me, you better wait at home."

Lyra no matter what Rigel says, she's willing to come along to make sure Jayden's okay. He was just as worried as Rigel. Lyra got into the car even though Rigel didn't let her.

"I'm still going. I want to make sure that Jayden's okay."

Rigel. "She'll be fine, I'll let you know when I can see her."

"No, I'm still coming. If I don't see it in person, I can't believe it. I can't believe he's gonna be okay, as the people who took Jayden destroyed your house. They could've hurt Jayden, too."

"I don't care what your father says. Most importantly I can make sure that Jayden is okay."

Lyra persisted in joining, even she did not want to get out of the car even though Rigel had forced her to get out. Forced Rigel finally went to his father's house while carrying Lyra.

And when he got there, Rigel just went to enter the house while shouting to call Jayden.

"Jayden's... Jayden." - Jayden."

But it was not Jayden who came over, but Sandy who came over with an angry look on her face.

"Can't you not scream."

Rigel looked at Sandy with burning eyes filled with anger. "Where Jayden is, give him back to me" he said, raising his voice.

"Can't you lower your voice. Are you being disrespectful for being influenced by that lowly woman" Sandy pointed to Lyra.

"Stop degrading him, he is the most precious person to me. I have no right to speak to him. I'm acting like this because you started it."

"It was you who started it, if you would obey my words I would never separate Jayden from you."

"By obeying my father's words, can I be happy." Rigel. "Obviously I wouldn't be happy if I were to marry a woman I don't love. Even the woman I've been betrothed to is as unloving as I am. You parents will only torment us for the match."

Sandy grinned. "Well, I'd be happy to see my son hook up with a woman I don't like. If you're a dutiful child, whatever I decide you'll obey."

"I am a grown man who has the right to decide my own way of life. Who I'm going to marry, I'm the one who decides. I don't have the right to decide who I'm getting married to."

Sandy. "If you don't want to leave that woman, you better not find out where Jayden is. What's clear now is that I've put Jayden where you'll never find."

Sandy goes to her room, while Rigel and Lyra are forced out by the guards who guard the house.

What Rigel fears is finally happening, one of the most precious people in his life leaves him. Either where Jayden is or when Rigel can bring Jayden back. Jayden would not be able to return to Rigel if his relationship with Lyra continued.

Jayden's passing can not only make Rigel sad, but also make Lyra again self-harm. It's too selfish for Lyra to have to continue her relationship, if her relationship alone can separate Rigel from Jayden. Even that relationship also makes Rigel's relationship with his father damaged.

"It is better that our relationship should not be continued" Lyra said as she let out her tears.

Rigel who was driving was immediately braked suddenly after hearing what Lyra said. "Why do you think about not continuing our relationship. Is it because Jayden was taken by my father that you intended to leave me."

"Our relationship will never be okay, if we don't get your father's blessing."

Rigel then looked at Lyra with both eyes beginning to stagnate. "I told you before, you don't have to care about her blessing."

"What about Jayden? If we continue the relationship, Jayden will never be able to come back to you."

Rigel hugged Lyra's body. "I'm gonna find out where Jayden is, and I'm gonna find a way to get Jayden back to me. So please don't ever leave me for this reason. If you leave from my side, then I will also be as sad as Jayden left me."
