37. Rumors Are Spreading

The rumors that were feared are now happening. It's not a rumor about Lyra dating Rigel, it's a rumor about an untrue evil. A seductress, of course Lyra does not feel that she is a woman who has seduced her boss. It is true that he and Rigel are in a relationship, but not because he deliberately teases his superiors.

Lyra was very angry when she heard the story from her best friend. What's more about him compared to Agni. Then suddenly Lyra and Nata are shocked by Rigel's arrival to the cafeteria.

The sharp gaze that Rigel did was able to make the buluk Iuduk Nata stand up. Even though Nata did nothing wrong, somehow he was pounding with fear when he looked at Rigel like that. To make him not dare to stare, and Nata was difficult to say. He was afraid that he would say the wrong thing to Rigel. What's more, the ones that denounce Lyra are too many if they have to be mentioned one by one. Rigel is notoriously cruel to all employees in the office, and if Nata tells anyone who is insulting Lyra, there could be many people who lose their jobs.

Rigel immediately kicked the table. "I said mention anyone who has denounced Lyra."

Lyra. "You don't have to act like that to her. Nata won't talk, if you're angry like that."

"If he won't talk, I'd better fire him."

Nata swallowed his saliva, and he quickly replied. "All the women in the division with me were all talking about Lyra. But not just the people who are in one division with me, there are a lot of people from other divisions talking about Lyra."

Rigel sighed in annoyance. "alright. For example, all the women who are in one division with Nata will be fired. So that everyone in this office will not dare to talk about Lyra carelessly." Rigel left with an angry look on his face.

An angry Rigel could cost many employees in his office a job. Moreover, Rigel is too excessive when it comes to firing his employees. And Lyra needs to act before Rigel fires the people in the office. Lyra then grabs Rigel's hand to stop his steps.

"You don't have to fire them for anything trivial."

Rigel sighed in annoyance. "You said it was trivial, they dared to pin you behind me. You are the woman I love, obviously I need to protect you from their foul mouths."

"If you act like this, my problems will get bigger. They're probably gonna hate me even more because of you." Lyra shed her tears. "Please once again, you don't make them lose their jobs."

Suddenly Rigel panicked when he saw his lover tear in front of his eyes.

"Don't cry like this Lyra. You have no right to waste your tears just for the sake of those with foul mouths" Rigel said as he wiped the water on Lyra's cheeks.

"Then from that, you don't have to overdo it. Don't fire them just for my sake."

Rigel. "Well, I won't fire them, just as long as you stop crying."

Lyra smiled as she nodded. "Yes, I stopped."

Agni suddenly came over with a very messy appearance, her clothes and hair seemed disheveled. His face looked worried as he looked at Lyra.

"Are you okay?"

Lyra furrowed her brows. "What should I ask, what is wrong with you? Why do you look like that."

"So in front of me I had a fight with one of the women who worked here. He's pinning you right in my ear. I ended up with him."

"The cause of Lyra in the net is you. If Lyra doesn't want to be rubbed off, you better stop working here right away" Rigel said with an upset look.

Rigel let go of Lyra's hand, then stared intently at Agni's face. "If Ryan's got it, you can stop working here."

"It depends, if I can only have it but he can't love me, where can I stop working here. The reason I work here is so that I can be close to him every day. Who knows for a long time he will start to have feelings for me" said Agni while smiling at the figure of Ryan.

Rigel smirked his smile. "It looks like he already has feelings for you. So I'm just enough to make him express his feelings towards you."

Without further ado, Rigel rushed to his room.

After the rumors about Agni and Rigel's match, everyone in the kitchen becomes angry with Agni. Even Susi, who was the head of the canteen, did not dare to tell Agni. All the senior workers including Susi told Agni not to do anything. Another case with Lyra who is the most loved woman Rigel, still doing work and not privileged like Agni.

Even Lyra gets upset when the workers ask Agni about when Agni married Rigel and about what it was like to be a future wife for Rigel Callisto. Lyra actually wants to be admitted, but Lyra can what, the relationship is still known to people only limited to rumors. And Lyra couldn't scream to tell them that she was the one Rigel actually had.

Although Agni is privileged, it does not mean that Agni just sits quietly doing nothing. Agni still wants to work and be equal to other workers.

"I want to tell you that I am here to work, not to sit quietly watching you" Agni said.

"But I was told by Mr. Sandy, so that Miss Agni did no other work than preparing food for Mr. Rigel," Susi added.

Agni. "That's supposed to do it Lyra wasn't me."

"You're a future wife of Rigel sir, you can't do hard work."

Agni forced herself to do the work as other workers did. Even if everyone forbids it.

Then suddenly Rigel came to the kitchen, and he was upset when he found Lyra cutting a lot of vegetables. Susi was in a hurry to get to him.

"There's something Rigel sir came here for. Does anyone want Rigel to order Miss Agni."

"I came here because I wanted to know why Lyra had not prepared lunch for me" said Rigel, whose only gaze was on Lyra.

Instantly Susi furrowed both of her eyebrows. "Don't you now prepare a meal for you is Miss Agni."

Rigel sighed in annoyance. "I reiterate yes, that Lyra only works for me. So the one who prepared the meal for me was just Lyra not Agni. And you have no right to make him work that hard."

"But Mr. Sandy has asked me, that the one who prepared the meal for you now is Miss Agni."

Rigel tilted his smile. "I hired Lyra and I paid Lyra with my personal money, not with the company's money."

Rigel immediately pulls Lyra out of the kitchen and takes her away to her room. Rigel was really angry when he found his lover was treated like any other worker.

"Why do you want to work like that. Didn't I tell you to work for me."

Lyra forced her smile while holding back the water that was being flooded in both of her eyeballs. "Hm, I did enroll in working here just to prepare a meal for all the workers in this office building."
