My Toni Is Mr. Anthony

My Toni Is Mr. Anthony
Chapter 2 - Your name is Toni

Today the entire hospital, more precisely the nurses and doctors' room, is filled with rumors of amnesiac men in room number zero. But no one told me anything good about the man.

"I heard the patient was from Green Land."

"She jumped from a car that exploded."

"The news is that in the car he was riding there was drugs."

"Well, how can I be in this hospital?"

"He had mentioned Green Land in his delirium."

"In Green Land he wasn't well taken care of."

"Well, but who wants to take care of the inmates?"

That same day, Eliana tried to catch her ear. What can be done, there is nothing Eliana can do to dismiss the slanted news about the amnesia patient. All he could do was take good care of her.

***

The smell of a stuffy, moldy room bursts into Eliana's sense of smell when she first enters room number zero. Slowly, he moved his feet inward.

A stifling sight was present before him. A bed in the corner of the room, yellowed sheets and unopened windows. The light is not a bright white light as used in other rooms.

The man was lying down, his face was not as pale as the first time he had come. But still in the eyes of Eliana, the man looks like an item that was just slashed. Tersia - sia.

Eliana sighed. It turns out there are rooms this bad in a hospital as big and famous as St. Paul, where he works.

Seeing the infusion hose that has not been installed, Eliana realized that these patients were left alone by them.

"Hm... Sir, whoever you are, I'll make sure you're well taken care of." whispered softly near the patient's ear.

Then Eliana turned her body and immediately went to the medicine room, the paraphernalia room, and also the hospital kitchen.

Before long, with a smile, Eliana brought freshly washed bed linen, new blankets and patient clothes. He put it all in a trolley along with liquid medicine, vitamins, fruits, water and juices. Not to forget also he put a towel and basin filled with warm water in the bottom trolley. At least, the basic needs of the man were met.

THE CRUTCHES!

"Excuse me, Master!" eliana said slowly, Based on her calculations, the anesthetic effect should have been exhausted and the patient should have been awake.

Justright.

The man was sitting on the bed and was currently looking at him with a questionable look.

"Good day, sir. How do you feel now?" Eliana greeted him kindly, and gave her best smile.

The man could not hide his surprise when a young woman in a nurse's uniform walked into the room where she was lying.

He was not surprised to realize that he was in the hospital. He realized that he had been transported several times from one hospital to another.

But what surprised him was the sincere smile and gentle gaze of the beautiful woman before him, a treatment he had never gotten lately.

"Junk!"

"It's so dirty of him."

"Just look at her, don't tell me to take care of her."

"Send him to St. Paul, they have facilities for obscure people like him."

"It's best not to deal with people who aren't obvious."

The sound was spinning - swirling in his ears along with the movement of Eliana who walked slowly closer while pushing her trolley. A smile could not be separated from the young woman's face.

"Who are you?" Cold asked.

"O'ya. My name is Eliana" said Eliana.

Without hesitation, he introduced himself and his outstretched hand invited the man to shake hands.

The man was stunned, his eyes staring doubtfully at the palm before him. White and clean. In view of his own dirty and black palms, his nails were long and irregular.

"Aren't you disgusted by me?" asked the man in wonder.

After these past few days, at a time when everyone was disgusted by her, a young woman kindly invited her to shake hands.

"Ahahaha. But you can wash your hands. You are so dirty" said Eliana, laughing.

"I don't seem to be liked in this hospital" the man said bluntly.

"Huh? Who told? All patients are treated the same here" Eliana said, wiping the dusty wooden table and putting juice, water and fruit on it.

"Don't think like that." continued Eliana later.

"I think you're too good for me." said the man. Head lowered.

"Master... "

"You know, right? If I've been transferred many times from one hospital to another because I don't have an identity and a family."

"Sir, if you are healthy, your memory will soon recover. You better focus on healing first." said Eliana.

Eliana's voice sounded hot, there was hope tucked in front of him so that the man was also excited.

"Suster, it's best not to get close - near patients who are dumped by the hospital." The man was silent for a moment. "If I die in this room, don't mind me."

Treny, that is how Eliana felt when she caught the signal of despair implied from the words she said. His heart was like being squeezed by the invisible hand.

"Sir, do you want to know what your name is?"

Eh?

"My name?"

"Yes." Yeah." Eliana nodded steadily.

His hand reached into the pocket of his uniform, and took out a piece of seedy paper. Like a tear in the form of paper with gold writing and white background bones or maybe cream. Again - again the color is not clear because it is dirty.

"Look! Your name is Thony."

"Huh?" The man's face seemed clueless, staring at the torn paper.

"Well, I found this piece of paper in your backpack. Looks like this is a notification piece or I don't know." Eliana shrugged her shoulders.

"It says Thony, so I'll call you Toni. Deal?" eliana said again.

His face was triumphant as if he had found a great discovery useful for the lives of many people.

"Give up." replied Toni as she turned her face away, hiding a thin smile that was almost engraved. At least, today he was quite entertained by the arrival of this beautiful and cheerful nurse.

"So?" ask Eliana later.

HA? Toni looked at him with a questioning look. Eliana raised both of her eyebrows and smiled widely.

"So from now on, Toni and Eliana are friends. What say?" Eliana's eyes look sparkling, her hands outstretched again.

Can't help but, something melted in Toni's heart. His defense collapsed, the corner of his lips curved upwards. His hand stretched out to greet the affection of Eliana, warmly slipped to the bottom of Toni's heart.

You and me are friends. That sounds good, Eliana.
