Chapter 53 - Be Mine!

Eliana's eyes glazed over the glass at Toni's story, she covered her mouth with both hands. "Darling... " Toni cupped his two large, warm hands on both of Eliana's cheeks. And gently, she asked, "What's the matter?"

A single tear flowed from the corner of Eliana's eye. "Pity you, Toni... " His hand held Toni's hand which cupped her face.

His heart ached to imagine how hurt Toni was when she found out his future wife was unfaithful. It's just that his brain won't work together to remember Tiffany. He wanted to bury his past.

"I don't think, how could they hurt you so much?" Instead of mentioning Tiffany by name, Eliana shifted her to another topic.
